From The Fairway which is quite different in character and design to the other courses at Cumberwell. There is much room on the fairway but tee shot placement is still of
On The Green the utmost importance. On this drivable par four you will need to be aware of the many severe slopes on and around the green if you are to get a birdie. For example, there is a nasty little downhill slope at the start of this green.

From The Tee The 29th is an early par three that is formidable from the back tee.
From The Fairway From the regular tees it is quite possible to use the right hand slopes to feed your shot in close to the pin.
On The Green The green has some acute undulations in, that can lead to some interesting putting.

From The Tee The 30th hole is a medium length par four where the strategy is dictated by the green and the pin location.
From The Fairway Generally it is best to drive up the right side on this hole to open up as much of the green as possible. However, if the pin is cut on the right side of
On The Green the green you will prO-Bably be better advised to favour the left. The key though is to hit that fairway and try not to leave yourself a downhill putt, as they can be treacherous.

From The Tee This is a great little par three with a punchbowl green.
From The Fairway
On The Green Beware of the wind which can whistle in from the right side. Sometimes the best play is to try and hit a soft fade into this narrow and very long green.

From The Tee Decide which side of the fairway bunkers you are going on this medium length par four.
From The Fairway The fairway is nearing 100 yards in width so there is little excuse for missing it but sometimes a safe shot to the right side will leave a very awkward second to a testing little green
On The Green . Also, the better player needs to be aware that the fairway narrows dramatically when you get within pitching distance of the green.

From The Tee You are now at the highest point on the estate so take time to appreciate the spectacular views over the next couple of holes.
From The Fairway This particular hole is a long par four played into the prevailing wind. It also is a great design, in that it shares the fairway with the 34th hole,
On The Green so it is possible to go as far right as you wish and still be on the fairway. However, this will give you a very long and totally blind second to a classic skyline green.

From The Tee The 34th hole is another great driving hole.
From The Fairway The ideal is just to the right, or even over the right hand fairway bunker in the distance. However, on this line you have to be accurate.
On The Green A safe bailout drive to the right will set up a relatively easy par but be aware of that fiendish bunker surrounded by long rough that is positioned 50 yards from the green.

From The Tee An awesome hole that is approaching 600 yards from the back markers and is
From The Fairway played directly into the prevailing wind. The key to achieveing a birdie is to favour the right side on your second shot.
On The Green This will allow you the best approach into the green. The green itself could only be described as eccentric, especially on the back left side.

From The Fairway your ball back off from. However, the greatest hazard is actually the little hidden swale short and
On The Green right off the green. This will swallow up any shot that is weakly hit leaving a testing little chip.
