Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee What a tough hole…a 161 yard Par 3 with a plateau
From The Fairway
On The Green green surrounded by deep bunkers and a sheer drop at the back into trees. What a tough Par 3!!
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Make sure you avoid the right side of the fairway with your tee shot,
From The Fairway as there is a bunker waiting just in the rough to make sure you’re not hitting
On The Green this green in two. If you keep your 2nd shot left of centre, and then avoid the two deep bunkers guarding both sides of the green, then you should make an easy Par 5 or even pick up a valuable birdie!
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Don’t be fooled by this short Par 4 dogleg left hole.
From The Fairway A large pond sits down the left side of the fairway waiting for anything left, and down the right trees and more trees awaits that sliced tee shot.
On The Green And just in case you think it ends there…… a deep bunker on the left hand side of the green and a bank on the right will punish any wayward approach shot.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole plays long as the prevailing wind comes across from the right side making the hole play longer than its yardage.
From The Fairway It’s a dogleg right- so aim left of centre- keeping you away from the fairway bunker on the right, and then be prepared for a long 2nd shot to a narrow entrance with bunkers ready to catch anything that isn’t precise!
On The Green
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee Wow what a monster Par 4 this is, as it is normally playing straight into the prevailing wind and one of the reasons why this is stroke 3!!
From The Fairway A good tee shot required avoiding trees left and right…
On The Green Then your 2nd shot needs to be kept left of centre as a large tree is situated just to the right of centre (about 90-100 yards short of the green) which will block you out completely. A Par 4 here WILL feel like a birdie!
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway There is a generous wide fairway which awaits your tee shot and with the wind normally behind you this could well be a birdie hole.
On The Green The 2nd shot must stay left of centre of the fairway and then you’ll be left with a short shot that goes down hill towards the green, but watch out for the bunkers either side to catch you out!
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Ignore the short yardage on this one, as this has to be one of the trickiest stroke 18’s you’ll ever play!
From The Fairway The tee shot HAS to be in the perfect position avoiding the thick copse of trees on the left and right of this hole,
On The Green and then your 2nd shot has to be perfect, as the green is very well guarded by bunkers, a shallow drop to the left side of the green and huge trees to the right side. Out of bounds all down the far right side of this hole.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Try and drive your tee shot towards the right of the WHITE “X” in the distance and this will leave you in
From The Fairway the right position for your 2nd shot which has to avoid a huge tree in the fairway and find its way between the two greenside bunkers guarding the green.
On The Green
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The wind tends to be against you on this hole so make sure you take an extra club at least,
From The Fairway
On The Green and make sure you carry the front bunker which is about 10-15 yards short of the green, but at the same time avoid the two deep bunkers either side
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A tough tee shot to find the fairway on this dogleg right hole, as a thick forest is on the right and plenty of trees on
On The Green the left to catch that slightly wayward tee shot! Having avoided all the trouble from the tee the 2nd shot requires length and accuracy to find the green and to avoid the waiting bunkers.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Aim towards the bunker on the right side of the fairway with your tee shot to get the best angle into
From The Fairway
On The Green this green, otherwise you’ll be blocked out by some huge trees to the left of this hole. A short hole, but if out of position then a 5 is more likely than a 4!
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee If you ever needed an accurate tee shot, then you need one now.
From The Fairway The tee shot has to be hit precisely between the trees on the left and the huge trees on the right to find the fairway.
On The Green Then from the fairway a large deep bunker (15 yards short of the green) runs across the front to protect that misjudged approach shot, and to the right you have deep grass cellars to make sure that, what this hole lacks in yardage, more than makes up with O-Bstacles protecting the green.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee A tee shot that is normally into the wind and a thick forest to the right ensures that a good tee shot is essential on this dogleg right par 5.
From The Fairway
On The Green The poplar tree is your target from the tee, and then from there a well guided fairway wood avoiding bunkers left and right is required before your short shot into the green.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee A good par 3, which is well guarded with bunkers to the front and right side of
From The Fairway
On The Green the green. Be careful not to go more than 10 yards right of this green- as you’ll be out of bounds and down the road!!
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole calls for precision from the tee…..You have to get the ball to the right of centre on
From The Fairway the fairway to have a shot into the green. For those pulling drivers out- be warned the club car park is reachable for some, and also there is a fairway
On The Green bunker waiting for you! The way to play this hole is with a fairway wood or hybrid from the tee and then you have another accurate shot being called for to reach this well guarded green.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Normally down wind so can play shorter than its yardage.
From The Fairway
On The Green Tee shot best placed right of centre leaving you a good view of the next shot towards the green. Do not miss green right (thick woods) or long and right as you’ll be in the lake!
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee Arguably our signature hole… A tee shot that tends to have the wind hitting it from
From The Fairway
On The Green the right and against, and requires you to carry the pond, avoid the trees left and right, and avoid the deep bunkers around the green……A superb hole which has destroyed many a good card!!!
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The prevailing wind tends to blow against and across from the left here,
From The Fairway which brings the fairway bunker on the right into play for many. Awaiting your 2nd shot is a huge tree sat right in the middle of the fairway,
On The Green and from there you have about 140 yards to play to avoid the deep right hand bunker that protects the green whilst avoiding the slope to the left towards the trees. The putting green on the right is out of bounds so all your concentration is called for on your approach shot to the green.
