On The Green but with trees all the way along the right and 2 on the left, combined with a back to front sloping green it’s not without its challenges. A birdie chance to get your card off to a flyer, although most are happy to take their par and move on.

From The Tee First of the course’s two par 5s, and at 480 yards, the shorter of the two.
From The Fairway Longer hitters will be looking to get on the green in two for an eagle chance, while those looking to lay up will need to avoid the two fairway bunkers that sit fifty yards short of the stepped green.

From The Tee This 418 yard, par 4, has a dense line of fir trees all the way up the right-hand side.
From The Fairway
On The Green Between you and the green is a large hill, meaning your second shot will be blind. Pay attention to yardage and wind direction as there are greenside bunkers to the right and left. A par here is always a good result so ring the bell the hole is named for and move on.

From The Tee The longest hole on the course, at 549 yards, is a par 5 dog leg to the right.
From The Fairway
On The Green Tee shots need to stay left in order to shave the corner with your second. Longer hitters might go for the green in 2 but fairway bunkers to the left and right will punish anything short or off line.

From The Tee This 315 yard par 4 is another birdie chance if you can avoid the out of bounds to the right with your blind tee shot.
From The Fairway A large fairway bunker on the other side of the hill will catch some of the longer drives and
On The Green greenside bunkers on the left and right, of the pear shaped green, could come into play if your second shot is wayward.

From The Tee Aptly named hole as you would have to have a wicked streak to try and cut the corner at this 394 yard par 4.
From The Fairway
On The Green Instead, tee shots aimed at the marker will be rewarded, as the natural slope beyond it will guide your ball round the corner. Second shots need to be accurate as the green has a dramatic fall off to the rear and right.

From The Tee The longest of the par 3s at 186 yards and also the start of the Galloway’s own ‘amen corner’.
From The Fairway
On The Green The unseen burn which crosses the hole can pick up any missed hit tee shots. The back to front sloping green is protected by bunkers on the left and right. If you make the green there are no easy putts here and a par is welcomed.

From The Tee This 401 yard slight dog leg to the right par 4, has out of bounds to the right and is number 1 on the stroke index.

On The Green With water to the left and rear of the green second shots need to be accurate.

From The Tee Tee shots on this 387 yard, par 4, need to be played down the right in order to open up the green for your second shot.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is protected by a pond to the front, pine trees to the left and 3 greenside bunkers. Depending on your tee shot it may be best to play into the gap, leaving a pitch and putt for par.

From The Tee Ranked 2nd on the stroke index,
From The Fairway this 431 yard par 4 is named for the large hill that stands between the tee and the fairway.
On The Green Clearing the hill with your tee shot is imperative for par or better. The elevated green slopes from back to front meaning some tricky putts.

From The Tee Standing on the elevated tee you have a 331 yard, uphill par 4 in front of you.
From The Fairway The fairway also slopes from left to right and has dense trees to the left, with pockets of trees on the right waiting to catch out wayward tee shots.
On The Green Second shots will be uphill to a two tiered green with three greenside bunkers on the right.

From The Tee A reasonably straightforward 187 yard par 3.
From The Fairway
On The Green There are bunkers on three sides of the green though, and an avenue of trees on the left. One of the highest points on the course, with some spectacular views, it is also open to the wind which should be taken into account on the tee.

From The Tee Accuracy is everything on this 309 yard par 4. Tee shots that don’t find the ‘plateau’
From The Fairway on the fairway will see second shots being taken from either a tricky stance down the steep slope to the left, or being hit over the hill to the right. Get it right and their is a birdie chance here.

From The Tee The last of the par 3s is 152 yards from raised tee to raised green.
From The Fairway
On The Green Missing the green short will see a tricky uphill pitch. Pin placement, wind direction and club selection all need to be considered in order to capture a birdie here.

From The Tee The final hole is a 329 yard par 4.
From The Fairway Named for the 19th century earthen work cycle track that cuts across part of the fairway,
On The Green The raised green is surrounded by a mixture of bunkers and hollows.The gap at the front of the green looks inviting but anything landing near the front is likely to run all the way back down through it. Definite birdie chance to finish your round in style before heading to the clubhouse to toast your round.

From The Tee The penultimate hole is a 336 yard par 4, with out of bounds along the right and trees along the left.
From The Fairway
On The Green With greenside bunkers to the right and rear its important to pay attention to yardage here. Second shots hit just over the ridge in front of the green can sometimes be rewarded depending on pin position.
