From The Tee The hardest hole on the golf course. A line left of the distant cypress tree is best and will give you a look at the green. Hidden bunkers on the right are in play if you cut the corner. A difficult green to hit with ‘the valley of sin’ at the front and surrounded by deep bunkers. Par this hole and you are off to a great start to your round!

From The Fairway This hole is a solid test of golf and you will need to be on your game to walk away with a par. From an elevated tee hit a solid straight drive, avoiding the bunkers on both sides of the fairway to give yourself a good look at the green. The approach shot into this hole has to be equally as good as you are hitting uphill to a heavily bunkered green. Make a 4 here and you will be feeling pretty goo

Hole Name

From The Tee A thrilling short Par 3 played across the top of a ridge where the wind will often try to drag tee shots right into the valley. Take dead aim or play for the left side of the green where the bank feeds all shots here back in. A two tiered green that is relatively easy when the pin is at the bottom but much tougher when it’s on top.

From The Fairway Start with a blind tee shot and rip a drive over the big dune. If you have hit a good drive you will be tempted to go for the green in two. However the twisting fairway has bunkers down the right side and there are a couple of bunkers on the left and the out of bounds fence line. If you can’t get there in two then laying up requires accuracy. Play this hole with precision and you will be rewarded.

From The Fairway A great Par 5 that rewards a bold tee shot down the left side over the heavily bunkered hill. Driveline is the stone cairn into a broad valley. Watch out for Tom Watson’s bunker at 250m from tee. Play to the left side of the fairway with your second shot to give yourself the best angle to the pin. From The Fairway A good tee shot will really make a difference on this hole. Avoid the left side of the fairway off the tee as there are bunkers that will cost you shots. The broad green is defended by its many undulations, it’s not easy to get the ball in close. A great hole with a stunning clubhouse just behind the green and many onlookers watching you craft a score!

Hole Name

From The Tee The tee shot is uphill to a sharp dogleg. A big drive left over the corner will put you in the valley below with a short approach but if it falls short deep bunkers will eat you up if you take them on! The approach is downhill but don’t go long as the green slopes from back to front and is very, very quick. A tricky hole, you’ll need to put on your thinking cap with this one.

From The Fairway A super Par 5 that is one of the best long holes you will ever play. If you play for the roll and slope of the dunes you will be rewarded. Play a little to the right side of the fairway off the tee and the ball will feed back to the fairway. The second shot will need some nerve as you will have to hit over the wasteland that just looks brutal! Play more to the left than you think as the slope work

From The Tee This is one of the tougher short tee shots you will ever play. To hit the green tucked in the dell you will need to fly the ball all the way. Watch out for the nasty pot bunker on the right rear flank and the bunkers protecting the green on the left are equally as menacing. “This is certainly one of the best par threes I have ever played” – Nick faldo (6 majors)

Hole Name

From The Tee Play this hole from one of the most spectacular tee boxes on the course. You can take on the corner but those who miss left are punished by a large wasteland bunker. Depending on the wind the uphill approach to the green can be 1 or 2 clubs more than the yardage suggests. Visually a beautiful hole that requires precision.

Be tempted to bomb a big drive to get home in two by hugging the left side of the fairway over a big wasteland bunker if you have what it takes! From The Tee A great Par 3 that can make or break a good round of golf! A well guarded, heavily bunkered, elevated green does not give you many options here. The best shot is to hit it high and try to land it as soft as possible. Just hitting this green is an achievement in itself. “This is an exquisite golf hole” – Tom Watson (8 majors).
