From The Fairway A generous fairway on this links style hole helps build some confidence for the player to start the day.

On The Green The approach will offer a stronger test to the players, as the green is elevated and guarded by not only a pot bunker but a false front on the left side of the green. An experienced player will take extra club and error on the long side rather than trying to face a challenging up and down from short front of this green.

From The Tee Slight Dogleg Left Par 4 – Golfers are quickly greeted w ith some tight tree lined holes as they cross the street to #

From The Fairway

On The Green 2. A tee shot is best placed down the right side on this hole to ensure an open approach for your 2nd shot. The saddle style green is protected to the left with 3 bunkers. The safest bailout is long left should you miss the green. This area will offer the player the best opportunity to try to get it up and down for 4.

Hole Name

From The Tee A Straight Away Par 5 – A 3 shot hole for most p layers.

From The Fairway The tee shot will keep the player’s interest, as it requires a forced carry over some marsh, as well as a large fairway bunker protecting the left side of the landing area.

On The Green Once the player gets the tee shot in play, they will have to thread the needle on the lay up should they want to challenge a fairway bunker on the left and a stand of trees to the right that protect the approach 150 yards out. The 500 plus yardage on this hole is not the only challenge golfers face, as the highly undulated green complex offers a myriad of challenging pin placements.

Hole 4

Hole Name

From The Tee Just as the name says, this dogleg right par 4 hole heads out towards the willows guarding a pond and then turns softly to the right. The landing area off the tee is player friendly but you need to ensure a good tee shot that comes to rest in the short grass favoring the left side. A left center tee shot may lead to a little longer 2nd shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green Water short will grab any less than solid approach shots and a green side bunker back left will also force the correct club selection in order to have a putt at birdie. This hole features a fairly large putting surface that slopes gradually from right to left as well as to the front towards the water.

Hole Name

From The Tee This first Par 3 hole on the course offers a variety of yardage options.

From The Fairway

On The Green The green is heavily sloped from right to left down towards the pond that runs the entire left side. A safe bailout can be the large closely mown approach front right of the green, but a left side pin placement can make things very challenging to the player trying to tuck it close.

Hole 6

Hole Name

From The Tee A straight-out par 4 with a tee shot directly over the tall fescue walker’s pathway.

From The Fairway A tee shot that hugs the left side of this fairway will not only make the approach shot a little shorter, it will also give the player the best angle into a narrow green that slopes right to left.

On The Green The green is well-protected with bunkers both short to the right as well as long. A precision approach shot is required although the designer gives players a bailout with a closely mown approach short left where you can easily advance towards the putting surface.

Hole 7

Hole Name

From The Tee A Dogleg Left Par 4 – This #1 handicap hole lives up to its ranking. Off the tee the player will be challenged to keep their tee shots down the right side to avoid the large bunkers protecting the left. Out-of-bounds comes into play should a player miss either left or right. A long hitter who gambles to take on those left side bunkers will be rewarded with a considerable shorter approach shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green The long and narrow green slopes away to the players right. The green is guarded on the left hand side by a deep sod faced bunker and to the right by a stand of tall oaks. A par 4 on this hole is a memorable one.

Hole 8

Hole Name

From The Tee A Scenic Downhill Par 3 - Players have to avoid the pond that covers the entire left side on this downhill hole. This is the shortest of the club’s four par 3 holes and a good opportunity for a birdie should the player find the putting surface near the pin. The only really safe bailout would be towards the landing area right and short of the putting surface.

Hole Name

From The Tee The players will come out of the woods and back to the open links style design on this par 5.

From The Fairway The hole doglegs left off the tee and has two fairway bunkers that will keep the long hitters honest off the tee.

On The Green A player who has the length to challenge the left side can possibly have a chance to reach in two. Those who take the designer’s route, will hit a 200 yard 2nd shot to a wide fairway setting up a short third shot and a good chance for a birdie putt to finish the front 9. From The Tee A straight-away par 4 challenges the players as they start the back 9.

From The Fairway The tee shot must be left center to avoid a deep cavernous fairway bunker down the right. If that wasn’t enough challenge,

On The Green there is out-of-bounds down the entire right side and tall fescue grass on the left. Your direction off the tee is premium on this hole. A slightly downhill approach into the green offers a challenge to players as 3 greenside bunkers surround the putting surface. Hole Name

From The Tee Island Green, Par 3 - This hole is not only visually intimidating, depending on the tee box played, it also requires a solid struck mid to long iron shot. There is no room to bail out short right or long left as water surrounds this entire island green. Should a player be able to overcome the challenging tee shot on this hole, they should be rewarded with a fairly straight birdie putt.

From The Fairway

On The Green The green is larger than it looks from the tee box but has a relatively flat putting surface. A three is always a good score on this hole.

Hole Name

From The Tee The par 4 12th hole is the last leg in the three hole “Bear Trap”, comprised of holes 10, 11 and 12 at Eagle Oaks.

From The Fairway Water protects almost the entire right side of this slight dog leg right. Players are offered a risk-reward as the closer the player challenges the hazard down the right side,

On The Green the shorter approach to the green they will have. Any tee shot that finds the fairway is a positive on this hole as the approach into the green will again test the player’s precision with a mid or long iron. Large Oaks hang over the right side of this putting surface as well as greenside bunker on the left at this strong par 4.

From The Tee The 13th hole is a risk-reward par 4 that has 17 bunkers strategically positioned throughout

From The Fairway the fairway and greenside. Depending on the tee box, the player may select a shorter straight shot off the tee or take a chance with a long ball up the left side of the fairway.

On The Green While challenging fate with bunkers and out of bounds up the right side, players are rewarded with a friendly approach to one of the most severely sloped putting surfaces on the course. The key is a good approach to enable short putts, as this slightly elevated and challenging putting surface, is a test for all players, regardless of ability.

From The Tee A short straight-forward par 4 that comes in just under 400 yards, even from the Championship Tee. What the hole gives back in length, is punished with any lack of accuracy off the tee. Every player will be challenged to thread the needle off the tee trying to avoid fairway bunkers on both sides of this hole as well as the threat of out-of-bounds lurking both left and right. From The Tee 15 This long par 4 hole starts the ‘final four” here at Eagle Oaks.

From The Fairway The lowest handicap hole on the back 9, this slightly downhill hole is a challenge to all with not only its length but the water hazards that lie closer to the green. The tee shot can be thankfully generous as the ball runs downhill on this wide fairway to set up a long and treacherous approach shot. A player must negotiate the cross creek and a large pond to the left of the green.

On The Green Although the green is large, it challenges all players with soft subtle movement. This is the #2 Handicap hole for a reason, par 4’s are few and far between here at #15.

From The Tee A spacious par 3 that gives the player a downhill feel off the tee box. Both length and a narrow putting surface protects Par on this hole.

From The Fairway

On The Green The putting surface is fairly level and a recovery from anywhere short of the green is more likely than balls that come to rest over the back in one of the four bunkers situated behind the green. It’s the last par 3 on the course but its stroke average is high regardless of its Handicap ranking. From The Fairway Regardless of length the smart play to start this hole is a tee shot that favors the left center of this generous fairway.

On The Green This tee shot will not only give the long hitters a chance to “go for it” it will also open up the 2nd shot for those who play it as three-shot hole. The putting surface saddles in the middle pushing balls that come up short back towards the player or chases longer shots away to the back collection area behind the putting green.
