From The Tee The South Downs way runs along the left-hand side of this hole, with Hawthorne and thick rough grass up the left.
From The Fairway The fairway slopes away to the right and down into trees and thick undergrowth - the slope will catch the left to right hitters!

From The Tee Plenty of room on the left hand side of the hole, scrubland and out of bounds on the right.

On The Green This is a deceptive hole if the prevailing wind is strong, then you need a driver plus a three wood to get anywhere near the green.

On The Green Bunkers are situated on the left and right hand side of the green. This is one of the most difficult second approach shots to a two tiered green. Getting the length of your approach shot right is the key but don't be surprised to be at the back if the wind is with with you

From The Tee This is a deceptively long hole sloping downhill and against the prevailing wind can be difficult to reach in two.

On The Green Land your second shot short and allow it to run onto the green which is protected by a bunker on the left.

From The Tee This is a monster of a hole; needing three good shots to get anywhere near the green.

On The Green All down the right hand side is out of bounds, with the left-hand side being trees and undergrowth. Keep the drive left of centre and away from the wall that protrudes from the right and watch for the ball running left to right, especially if the rough is thin.

From The Tee The back tee is elevated looking across a valley to a raised green within a bowl.

On The Green Deceptively long this hole often needs a driver to reach the green. From the yellow tees the hole is uphill and much shorter but not much easier.

On The Green Allow an extra club for the second up hill shot to reach a flat green, there are green side bunkers on the left and right waiting to catch you

On The Green Use the room on your left to your advantage but beware the out of bounds to the left of the green. When the grounds fast it can be difficult to hold the green if you're too keen.

On The Green If you are brave you can pitch the green and the ball will sto - but what club do you take??. Take care of the hungry greenside bunkers which can be fed from the slope
