Hole 1

Hole Name

From The Tee A slight downhill, medium length Par 3, with bunkers on the left side and one short front right. A swale surrounds the back and right side on this large sloping green.

From The Fairway The green has a gentle slope towards the creek but more severe towards the front half.

On The Green Out of Bounds on the right, but protected by trees that can drop a ball at their roots, or deflect it out.

From The Tee An inviting short dog leg left Par 5, with only the left side creek and penalty area to really worry about.

From The Fairway A large fairway bunker on the right-side bend, followed by another short right of the green leaving an undesirable lengthy bunker shot.

On The Green A large fairway bunker on the right-side bend, followed by another short right of the green leaving an undesirable lengthy bunker shot.

Hole 3

Hole Name

From The Tee A short but slight up-hill Par 4 with a sloping fairway to the right side. Play it safe and play down the left side to avoid putting the tree on the right in play or take the risk and reward on the right side.

From The Fairway A high and long drive is required to carry the large, tall tree on the right side for the short shot into the green.

On The Green A deep bunker on the right side and a small bunker short and guarding the front of this fast-sloping green will lead to many players choosing the safer left side approach to the green.

Hole 4

Hole Name

From The Tee The longest Par 4 on the course and Par 5 for the women, that requires some planning on the tee due to the large, tall tree on the right side.

From The Fairway Long hitters off the tee or playing down the right side can find themselves blocked out by this tree. One of the flattest greens on the course but guarded by bunkers on both front left and right sides.

On The Green A swale on the left side of the green and a fall off towards the trees at the back make it a must to stay on this green.

Hole Name

From The Tee The Signature hole that’s admired by many. Accuracy is a must to this daunting over water hole with a mid to short iron club off the tee.

From The Fairway Not only do you have to carry water but, narrow bunkers at the front and back left of this long narrow green.

On The Green Playing long for safety to the bunker, a swale and mounding at the back of the green can be smart but will test the short game skills of many playing downhill and towards the water. Local rules provide drop zone relief for players unable to carry the water from the blue tees.

Hole Name

From The Tee A tempting short Par 5 for the aggressive player but finding this green under regulation may not be as easy as first thought. A left to right shot will be useful from the blue and white tees, to avoid the tall trees on the right side.

From The Fairway The fairway slopes towards the creek and penalty area that runs all the way down the right side. Those attacking the green in two will have to choose between going high above the canopy of the tall trees converging over the fairway, or a low shot through the narrow gap.

On The Green This long narrow two-tier green is protected by a long narrow bunker on the left and steep slopes at the back and towards the creek on the right side.

Hole Name

From The Tee There are a couple of things to watch out for on this short Par 3. A large deep bunker guards the front right side, while the front and left third of the green slopes away.

From The Fairway

On The Green Depending on the pin location, going long and using the mounds at the back of the green may not be a bad play here. A mis-hit to the right can land you in the pond.

Hole Name

From The Tee Another short Par 5 reachable in two for the aggressive player. Out of bounds on the left and a rise in the fairway mid-way down that will reduce roll out of drives from the tee are the only major factors to consider before the green.

From The Fairway Take care of the approach to the green as playing downhill from the fairway and steep slopes surround the green left, right, and back. Going long of this green can lead your ball rolling into the small trees and bushes behind the green.

On The Green

Hole Name

From The Tee A driveable up-hill Par 4 that will reward those that take the risk and hit a good shot on.

From The Fairway Bunkers guard the front left and right and right side of the green, leaving a very small opening for shots bouncing or rolling on.

On The Green Tall long grass and bushes await shots going left or far right of the green making it easy to lose balls. Fairway bunkers left and right encourage a lay-up approach for players who cannot reach the green.

Hole 10

Hole Name

From The Tee A tough drive off the tee with bunkers on the left side of the fairway and Out of Bounds further left.

From The Fairway There is a steep fall off into a gully and possible to the penalty area on the right side, where forgetting about the green and playing towards the fairway is the only realistic play.

On The Green The approach shot is uphill to the severe sloping right to left green that’s guarded by a large bunker all along the left side. There is a small bunker on the high right side that makes a sand save almost impossible, this should be avoided at all costs.

Hole 11

Hole Name

From The Tee The shortest hole on the course and playing slightly downhill from the tee to this wide but narrow green.

From The Fairway The front left half is guarded by deep bunker, and another bunker back right catches shots going long. Distance control is key on this hole, with shots going long finding the swale at the back or worse, or short to the deep bunker at the front.

On The Green The green has a general slope of left to right with some slopes coming off the back of the bunkers around the green.

Hole 12

Hole Name

From The Tee A long Par 3 off the blue and white tees but still just as challenging off the red, with a steep uphill shot to the green.

From The Fairway The boundary fence runs all along the left side, with tall trees on both sides and a bunker protecting the front right of the green are some of the challenges to overcome.

On The Green Arguably the toughest challenge will be the green with its dome shape and speed. Mis-judging speed on big breaking putts is common on this fast green, with your best option on the front left portion.

Hole 13

Hole Name

From The Tee A straight Par 4 that plays downhill inside 150M. A long drive off the tee down the left side can leave a short shot into this large generous green.

From The Fairway Take care playing down the left side as going too far left puts the boundary fence in play, which runs all the way down to the next tee.

On The Green A bunker short right of the green and a steep fall off towards a penalty area are the main defence of this flat green. The downhill approach to the green makes GPS distances deceiving.

Hole 14

Hole Name

From The Tee This short dog leg left Par4 can tempt the aggressive player who can hit a long and high right to left shot from the tee.

From The Fairway Take care of the line over the corner as this is an environmentally sensitive area and classified as Out Of Bounds, so playing away from the corner can be the smart play.

On The Green The 2 tier and sloping green is well guarded all around with bunkers on the left side and swale on the front right. The bottom tier is at the back of the green that narrows and beyond that is a fall off to thick bushes and trees.

Hole 15

Hole Name

From The Tee A medium length dog leg left Par 4, with a blind tee shot makes this hole quite challenging.

From The Fairway A well-positioned tee shot on the fairway and past the corner, can still leave 150m+ for the second shot. The approach shot to the large green is downhill, with bunkers on the front left and short right.

On The Green The dam and penalty area runs all along the left side and just close enough to be in play for those shots going a little left or short of the green. A ridge that runs along the middle of the green can make it hard to read putts.

Hole 16

Hole Name

From The Tee One of the longest Par 5 holes in South Australia from the blue tees and still quite long and just as challenging from the other tees.

From The Fairway The fairway slopes right to left and the creek and penalty area runs all the way down the left side, making this Par 5 tough to score on. The green is quite small for a Par 5 but wide and narrow with a general back to front slope.

On The Green Approaching the green from the right side is best as there is a tree and penalty area short left of the green guarding left pin positions.
