Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee it's about a 200 Yards shot down the middle. Bigger hitters can cut the corner for a shorter approach shot but be aware of the sand trap on the left.
From The Fairway
On The Green The approach shot should be around a 200 Yards shot. If you cut the shot you should be left with about a 100 - 150 Yards shot to the green.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Normal hitters will have an approach shot of around 100 yards or less give or take. Be careful not to hit over as you may be fishing in Furnace Bay.
From The Fairway From the tee it's about a 200 Yards shot through a tight opening over a small ravine to the middle of the fairway.
On The Green The second shot leaves 260 yards to the green. A smart shot is a mid iron to about the 100 Yards marker. Long accurate hitters can go for it but be aware of the trees on the left and right.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Leave it short and you may be pulling another ball out of the bag.
From The Fairway
On The Green From the tee it's a sweet little 115 Yards shot over a ravine / pond onto a raised green.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee Be careful of the pond on the left and the woods on the right. Just aim at the directional flag and you'll be golden.
From The Fairway From the tee the safe shot would be about a blind 200 Yards shot to a raised fairway as too long could put you through the fairway into a bunker.
On The Green Your approach shot is about a 100 Yards shot to a green surrounded by water on the left and rear.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee This is prO-Bably one of the more interesting holes on the course.
From The Fairway From the tee it's about a 175 Yards shot through the pipe to a wide open fairway.
On The Green From here your approach should be anywhere from 100 - 150 yards over a ravine to an undulating green.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee you have the second of only 2 blind tee shots on the course. Pull out that driver and rip it towards the directional flag but be aware of the pond on the right and the trees on the left. "Piece of cake"
From The Fairway If you're fortunate enough to have your ball in the middle of the fairway you should have about a 200 Yards 2nd shot towards the green. This is a perfect opportunity for an eagle 3.
On The Green For those of you who don't take advantage of opportunity knocking you will prO-Bably be left with a short wedge to very flat green. Birdie time.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Here we have a slightly intimidating 200 - 210 tee shot to an elevated fairway. No prO-Blem.
From The Fairway
On The Green Once here you should be left with a short 100 Yards shot to a VERY undulating green. Good luck with that 3 putt.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee A sweet par 3 over a pond to a slightly uphill green with a perfect backdrop of the original red barn. Put it past the hole and you'll be hoping to save par.
From The Fairway
On The Green A sweet par 3 over a pond to a slightly uphill green with a perfect backdrop of the original red barn. Put it past the hole and you'll be hoping to save par.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee Push it right and you're out of bounds in the owners yard (very embarrassing). Also be aware of the bunker there at about 230 yards from the tee on the right.
From The Fairway However if you pull it left there's a good chance of losing your ball in a patch of high grass.
On The Green Coming in to finish the front. Only 305 yards to the green so let er rip.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee you have a 160 Yards downhill shot with a pond on the right.
From The Fairway Other than that there is nothing to it. The target is huge (just forget about that pond on the right).
On The Green
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee it's about a 230 Yards shot to leave you a wedge to the green. No trouble here (unless that pond bothers you).
From The Fairway
On The Green Your approach shot should be around 100 - 110 yards to the green. Be careful of the bunkers on the left and right of the green.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee you have a wide open shot over a pond to a huge fairway.
From The Fairway Your approach should be around 100 yards uphill to a green that slopes back to front. Be aware of the sand traps on the left and right.
On The Green
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee, the safe shot is to play 250 to the turn, to a safe approach shot of about 100 yards. Big hitters can try to cut the corner and go to the right of the sandtraps to reach the green from the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green The approach is an easy shot to a left to right sloping green. A back right pin position requires a conservative approach to the center of the green.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee, a long drive down the right side of the fairway will get a good bounce and set up for a 150-180 yard approach.
From The Fairway Right tree line is out of bounds, and beware of the sand trap on the right at about 200 yards. You can go for it in 2 or set yourself up for an easy approach.
On The Green The approach shot on 14 is downhill, and always plays about one club shorter than the yardage. Be careful of bunkers in front left and right, and long is definitely wrong on this hole.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee The 15th tee presents a simple drive of about 220 yards down the left side of the fairway for an approach of around 100 yards.
From The Fairway Big hitters will go just left of the pin that can be seen on the same line as the barn, and will be left with a short chip or perhaps an eagle putt with a fortunate bounce from the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Those of you that wimped out will have this 100 Yards wedge to a left to right and front to back sloped green. If the pin is near the front, try to keep the ball short and left of the pin for a realistic chance at birdie.
On The Green
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee From the 17th tee, just hit it as straight and as long as you want. Sandtraps on the left at 230 yards and on the right at 260 yards, and a ravine on the right side make this a challenge for the long hitters.
From The Fairway
On The Green This is a challenging approach to an elevated green. The green is well protected with bunkers on the left and right. This normally takes one extra club, especially when the pin is in the back of a deep green.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee Out of bounds right and left, and a protected wetlands ditch on the left side long are prO-Blem areas to be avoided.
From The Fairway An elevated tee box to a hard dogleg left presents a number of considerations for this challenging finishing hole. The target area is towards the bridge at the far end of the fairway at about 260yards.
On The Green Depending upon the pin placement, you are left with a dicey shot to an elevated two-tiered green of between 100-120 yards. Bunkers on the left and right make this a challenging approach shot. The green slopes back to front and left to right with nary a straight putt to be found. The good news is that the 19th hole is not far away.
