Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A generous Par 5 starting hole for the longer hitters who will be able hit driver, long iron into the green.
From The Fairway Players will have to be cautious on the blind tee shot as out of bounds runs all down the left while the right side is guarded by trees.
On The Green The average hitter will play a mid to short iron approach into the two-tier green which is surrounded by deep greenside bunkers.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee An up down and up again Par 5 that welcomes players with a wide fairway that slopes left to right.
From The Fairway Many will play their second into the gully and be faced with a blind significantly uphill approach.
On The Green Be sure to take an extra club or two. From the tee those trying to go at the green in two missing the fairway either side may result in a chipping out sideways from the trees.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Even from the forward tee this Par 3 offers a challenge. Often unappreciated this may be one of the best holes on the course.
From The Fairway A narrow two-tiered green requires players to be precise with their tee shot. The only miss is the front fringe of the green.
On The Green Those that don't quite catch their tee shot a bunker well in front of the green will prove difficult. The bunkers left and right of the green are much more promising. Going long, missing right or left is dead and will bring a smile to your opponents face.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee The short Par 4 fourth is the last hole before the course become more of a test.
From The Fairway Long hitters can comfortably reach the green with their tee shot which is protected by bunkers.
On The Green For those who have to play short conservative is the way to go. Anything middle of the fairway will leave a short approach. A generous scoring opportunity - watch out for the right fairway bunker!
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The fifth is a dogleg Par 4 to the left with trees on either side of the fairway.
From The Fairway Many will have to play to the corner leaving a mid iron approach into a well protected green. Missing the green players will be left with a challenging up and down.
On The Green On the left is a large bunker and the right is heavy rough. Over the green the hole runs away drastically, your next shot require plenty of loft.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Arguably one of the toughest hole on the course. A long Par 3 off the back markers measuring 201m to the centre of a huge sloping green.
From The Fairway Players are required to fly the ball all the way with a bunker catching balls running up to the hole.
On The Green With a run off area on the front right and bunkers surrounding the green par is a good score every day. Good luck trying to find a straight putt.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The seventh is a long straight away Par 4 with two fairway bunkers along the right side of a large fairway.
From The Fairway The average hitter will be left with a mid iron approach after a well struck drive.
On The Green Missing the fairway players will be faced with a low running shot that will need to be thread between bunkers at the front left and right of the green. Once on the green a bit of local knowledge will help to have a chance of holing any putt of length.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee A medium length Par 4, the eighth hole doglegs slightly to the left with trees on both sides of the fairway. Finding the short grass from the tee will leave a short iron approach and seemingly easy par.
From The Fairway However miss the fairway and par can prove to be very difficult. Playing down the right half of the fairway is the safest option although it leaves a slightly longer approach to the downhill green.
On The Green Playing from the left half of the fairway the approach may be blocked out by trees. The narrow entry to the green has deep bunkers to the right and left of the putting surface.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The Par 5 ninth is the longest hole on the course. From the tee the generous fairway slopes right to left with a fairway bunker ready to claim any wayward shots.
From The Fairway Playing up the right side of the hole will leave with a nice approach to a large green. Make sure to play to the large areas of the green as deep bunkers either side protect the front portion.
On The Green For the longer hitters wanting to get home in two give the drive a little extra however if you miss the fairway right you will have work out cut for you to make par.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Rated the second hardest hole on the stroke index finding the fairway on the tenth is a must.
From The Fairway Heavily tree lined with out of bounds all down the right finding the fairway leaves a mid iron into a one of the best green complexes on course.
On The Green After negotiating the front right and left bunkers players will have a difficult two putt if on the wrong side of the hole as a large hump runs through the middle of the green.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Similar to the eighth hole, the eleventh is a slight dogleg left with a blind tee shot.
From The Fairway Driver is not necessary for the long hitters but those who play aggressively and hit the fairway will be rewarded with just a pitch shot to the green.
On The Green For most a solid tee shot will leave a short iron approach with the best angle from the right half of the fairway as there are overhanging trees short left of the green. Even playing conservatively this hole offers a chance to score well.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee At first glance this quiet hole may seem very inviting. A elevated green is surrounded by bunkers that will catch any tee shot short of the fringe.
From The Fairway Long of the green players will have to produce something special to save par as the green falls away sharply leaving either a high flop or bump into a steep bank.
On The Green Find the middle of the green though and it’s a great birdie chance to any pin position. However, many of those that miss the green will walk away disappointed at an opportunity lost.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee Rejoice those that hit the ball left to right, finally a hole that suits your eye. The tee shot on the left to right dogleg is relatively simple to the large part of the fairway which leaves a mid iron approach.
From The Fairway Those that want to play more aggressive off the tee will have to steer clear of out of bounds long right. Playing from the left half of the fairway leaves the ideal approach as trees block the angle from the right.
On The Green With the fairway sloping away, bunkers right and left of the putting surface, the approach has to be precise. The narrows approach is one toughest on the course.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The Par 4 fourteenth is a reprieve from some of the tougher holes on the back nine.
From The Fairway The tee shot from the front markers is straight forward with a wide fairway guarded only by a shallow fairway bunker on the right. From the back tee players will be required to hit a soft left to right shot to find the fairway.
On The Green The average hitter will be left with a short to mid iron approach to a long green that plays half a club extra than its yardage.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee The longest Par 4 on course the fifteenth is rated one on the stroke index. Although this is the widest fairway on course finding it can prove difficult. From the back tee players are faced with a tee shot that has to travel through a narrow chute between trees toward fairway bunkers on the left.
From The Fairway The longer hitters will need to hit a soft left to right shot as through the fairway is a lateral hazard and out of bounds.
On The Green The far right of the fairway is a water hazard - so be sure watch your ball! From the fairway players will need a mid to long iron to get to the large green that slopes diagonally left to right. Players putting above the hole on a front right pin position may need some luck to hold the green.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee The Par 4 sixteenth is a great looking golf hole. From an elevated tee and often into the wind, the tee shot is demanding with out of bounds running down the left and right of the hole.
From The Fairway Off the fairway, players will need to be creative with trees obstructing a clear shot to the green.
On The Green While from the left side of the fairway overhanging branches block the wide front potion of the green which tapers away at the back. Avoid the bunkers on the slight uphill short to mid iron approach and par should not be difficult.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee The seventeenth is an excellent risk and reward hole that denotes exactly what a short par 4 should be.
From The Fairway For the longer hitters going for the green out of bounds runs down the left while finishing in trees to the right of the green will have you wondering why you went for it in the first place.
On The Green The ideal miss from the tee is the front or right greenside bunkers. Most will have to play conservatively from the tee which will leave a short iron and a very good chance to score. Beware though, missing the green long leaves a tricky chip shot from below the green.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee With two solid strikes this reachable par 5 offers one final chance to save a score with some heroics.
From The Fairway For most who can't reach the green in two, keep the drive down the left side of the fairway as a gathering of trees will block shots from the right.
On The Green When laying up play back from the left fairway bunker this will leave a short to mid iron approach to a green that slopes right to left. Any right pin position will be difficult to get to, steer clear of the bunkers and this hole is gentle finish to a tough back nine.
