Hole Name
From The Tee A Par 5 slight dogleg right begins your round. The fairway slopes right to left, so aim your tee shot slightly left of the tall pines that separates holes 1 and 18 and you will be perfectly setup for a layup shot or have a good look at the green to get home in two.
From The Fairway
On The Green Don’t overlook playing down 18 if your tee shot goes too far right into the trees. Bunkers guard the left and right side of the green on this picturesque opening hole.

Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Big hitters can drive the green on this straight away Par 4. The smart play is to layup short of the fairway bunker about 200 yards out from the member tees.
From The Fairway Hit your drive too far left, and your approach will be blocked by the tall pines.
On The Green You do not want to go over the back to front sloping green with bunkers left, front and right.

Hole Name
From The Tee This hole sets up well for Birdie. Hit your drive over the road to have less than 100 yards in.
From The Fairway
On The Green Like many of the greens at Glen Oak, this one slopes back to front. Better to be short than long as getting up and down from the collection area beyond the green is a challenge.

From The Tee This first Par 3 plays slightly up hill. O-B left if you tug your tee shot left along the cart path.
From The Fairway
On The Green Again, do not go too long or you will be faced with another difficult up and down from the collection area over the green. Bunkers guard this hole left, right and center.

Hole Name
From The Tee A beautiful driving hole defines this downhill 390-yard par 4. Swing loosely and freely to keep your drive straightway center.
From The Fairway Go too far right and you will be punching back out to the fairway.
On The Green Go too far left and you could be faced with O-B or Hazard. Hit the green in two and you will find a relatively flat green for your Birdie chance.

Hole Name
From The Tee The Par 4 6th, the number two rated handicap hole on the course, is the most difficult on the outward nine. Tall pines guard the entire right side of the hole that will cost you if you hit into them off the tee.
From The Fairway All of these areas are very difficult up and downs to save par. This is a hole where walking off with Bogey is OK!
On The Green Go too far left, and a tall oak will block your approach into the green. The green is sloped sharply back to front with bunkers guarding the front left and right of the green and collection areas behind the bunkers and behind the green.

Hole Name
From The Tee The dog leg corner is guarded by a cluster of bunkers that could force a layup. Long hitters can leave themselves a short approach by driving the ball over the trees left.
From The Fairway This second Par 5 on the front side is a dogleg left Eagle opportunity for big hitters. The fairway slopes left to right, so if your strategy is to play it straight off the tee, favor the left side.
On The Green This green is highly undulated, so simply landing on the putting surface does not guarantee you a two putt. Beware of the false front on short approaches.

Hole Name
From The Tee Shots hit right into the trees will require a chip out or stroke and distance penalty for wayward shots hit O-B.
From The Fairway Hole number 8 is a good opportunity to leave the driver in the bag. There is a premium on keeping your ball in the fairway here.
On The Green Approach shots must be solidly struck so as to clear the water hazard creek running east to west approximately 30 yards short of the green.

Hole Name
From The Tee Don’t be fooled by the handicap rating of 18 on this closing hole for the front side.
From The Fairway This putting surface is tough to get a read on, so pay attention to any putts on your line.
On The Green The elevated green does not affect the yardage much, but missing the green left will require a soft flop to have any chance at saving par.

Hole Name
From The Tee A back to back Par 3 from the front starts your journey on the more difficult inward nine. This hole plays downhill and is rated the second easiest on the course. Again, don’t relax just yet.
From The Fairway The bunkers situated left and right find more balls that do the green. Good Luck!
On The Green Tightly guarded by tall pines both left and right, this difficult to read green humpbacks from center in all directions.

Hole Name
From The Tee Decisions, Decisions! This tricky Par 5 presents a difficult tee shot with trouble all over.
From The Fairway The smart play is to layup short of the creek that cuts across the fairway and stretches down the left side.
On The Green There is more room right over the pond than you think, so don’t be afraid to favor that side for a much better angle into a two-tiered green.

From The Tee This blind tee shot has a speed slot on the right side of the fairway.
From The Fairway Hitting a right to left shot up the right side will give you a lot of roll down towards the green and a short shot in.
On The Green Avoid the trees right as they are white staked if you go too deep into the woods.

Hole Name
From The Tee Hitting Driver or 3 Wood and not going straight brings into play many issues that you don’t want to be faced with for your second shot.
From The Fairway Driver is not the play here. The fairway slopes right to left and a mid-iron or hybrid will give you less than 100 yards in.
On The Green Utilize a wise course strategy and walk away with par at worse for well-played shots.

From The Tee There is more room right than you can see from the tee box.
From The Fairway Aim your shot over the hill right and you will end up in the center of the fairway.
On The Green Green is fast from left to right and walking away with par here should be considered an excellent score.

Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 15 starts a very challenging 4 hole stretch that has ruined many rounds! If you can drive your ball over the creek, that is the recommended play.
From The Fairway The carry is shorter left than right and will require a shot of at least 225 yards center to get to at least 150 yards or less for your approach.
On The Green This green is very fast from back to front and slopes left to right, so play your shot into the green accordingly.

Hole Name
From The Tee This hole plays entirely up hill and does not provide you with much roll after your ball lands. Don’t go left or you will be hitting 3 off the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green Go too far right towards the 17 green, please yell Fore and play for Bogey.

Hole Name
From The Tee The hardest of the Par 3’s requires a club that you can hit about 185-200 yards.
From The Fairway Bunkers guard both the left and right side and you absolutely don’t want to miss right as the ball will careen into the trees, requiring a shot off the pine straw or worse over a bunker to a green sloping away from you.
On The Green The green slopes back to front, but balls hitting the green will roll out and you don’t want to go over. Landing short front here is a good play.

Hole Name
From The Tee A great finishing hole to close out your inward nine. Make sure to keep your tee shot in the fairway as going left will block you from getting your ball close for your third shot and going right into the trees is absolute jail.
From The Fairway Long hitters can get home in two, but the green is elevated. A solid second shot slightly left to the base of the hill will leave you less than 100 yards in.
On The Green Green has a false front, so be careful on red pins. Add 10 yards to your approach into the green and trust it.
