Hole 1

Hole Name Crane

From The Tee Into the Leinetal with a drive that should, if possible, fly over the ditch and asphalt path. The ball is then safely in the spacious landing zone, which, however, has a bunker for slicers.

From The Fairway Anyone who sets out could have difficulty finding the right entrance to the other fairway, which looks narrower than it is because of the hills on the right and left.

On The Green The green is huge and easy to hit, although there is a large pond behind it.

Hole 2

Hole Name partridge

From The Tee If you haven't played this hole often, you should follow the greenkeeper on the mown path to the left around the group of trees.

From The Fairway

On The Green Playing to the right past the trees is also possible, but there is a risk of ending up in a biotope - or in the bunker that protects the green.

Hole 3

Hole Name Gray Heron

From The Tee The long hitters can definitely try their luck on this short par 4 and attack the green - but run the risk of ending up out of bounds or in the two ponds that protect the green.

From The Fairway But when the ball comes to rest in the landing zone in front of the ponds, a precise pitch will bring you close to par.

Hole Name Cuckoo

From The Tee The bunker straight ahead should be the target for those who don't know their way around very well (although a good drive then carries the risk of ending up in the bunker).

From The Fairway Then you can play the slight dogleg left nicely on the fairway without having to get to know the four other bunkers.

On The Green

Hole 5

Hole Name Moorhen

From The Tee The shared women's and men's tee box offers a beautiful, slightly elevated view over a pond, which, with its seasonally changing flowers and water lilies, quickly distracts from the fact that precise play is required here in order to reach the sloping green at the back in one shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green If necessary, you play into the big bunker to the right of the green, at least the ball stays there.

Hole 6

Hole Name White Stork

From The Tee Long hitters can let off steam here - albeit with straight balls - because a group of bushes awaits on the right at a slice and some biotopes lurk at the hook.

From The Fairway Attention: Many new players tend to play the green of hole 1, which is clearly visible on the left, on their second shot.

On The Green The green of this hole is partially hidden behind the bushes and the large pond on the right. Have fun on one of our most difficult tracks!

Hole Name Corncrake

From The Tee On the way to the tee you can think about which club you want to use for the short but crisp hole in the tunnel under the bushes.

From The Fairway There is only rough between the tee and the green - so that it doesn't get too easy and the spectators from the street can see something.

Hole Name Red-backed Shrike

From The Tee Here, because of the pond and the trees, it is much more difficult for men than for women to place their tee shot on the fairway so that they can easily reach the stepped green with their second shot. Anyone who only needs two putts can be proud.

Hole 9

Hole Name Red Kite

From The Tee The crowning achievement for demanding golfers! It's uphill with often strong headwinds, and in the afternoon you have to squint against the sun. The drive mainly reaches ditches, paths, bunkers and ends up in the rough or between trees.

From The Fairway Reaching the green with the second shot is an illusion. It is defended by a pond that cannot be seen. The stepped green itself is a particular challenge depending on the position of the flag at the bottom of the water or at a height of 1.80 m. Once the 9 is made, you can quickly go to the nearby Golfstüberl for the halfway break.

Hole 10

Hole Name Greenshank

From The Tee It compensates for the hardship and frustration that the player has had to endure so far. It goes downhill, but the men have to overcome a row of fir trees and cannot see the landing zone, the women “just” have to play straight ahead.

From The Fairway The ball should fall high onto the foregreen with the second shot, as the green slopes quite steeply towards the back.

Hole Name Nightingale

From The Tee Dogleg to the right. Again, no problem. That's actually true, if the headwind wasn't annoying and there wasn't that rough on the right in which almost every golfer has already looked for his balls.

From The Fairway

On The Green Otherwise a small green that should be played on the left if possible because of the fairway sloping to the right.

Hole 12

Hole Name Goldammer

From The Tee The first of the three holes, which were completed in 2007 and have a completely different character than the nine "old" holes.

From The Fairway The tees and greens are not elevated, but the greens are finely modeled. This hole goes straight and we like it for that Nearest-to-the-pin competitions.

On The Green The only things that bother you are the out of bounds on the left and the bunkers on the right of the huge green.

Hole Name Lapwing

From The Tee

From The Fairway Everything looks easy from the tee, but the hole bends slightly to the right. If you don't hit it completely straight, you'll either end up in the fairway bunker or in the rough. It's over after just a few meters behind the green, so don't attack too aggressively!

On The Green

Hole 14

Hole Name Kingfisher

From The Tee Players with a notorious slice have big problems on this hole, because on the right side the out of bounds begins shortly after the tee shot. Where the ball is supposed to land, the fairway is very narrow, and a huge pond runs along the left side of the course.

From The Fairway

On The Green However, if the tee shot was far enough, you can use your second shot to attack the green, which is beyond the pond and higher. Or you play comfortably on the outside, but then have little chance of getting a par.

Hole 15

Hole Name Kestrel

From The Tee After a courageous drive over the hill, this is a good start, but only if you avoid the hard rough on the right side, which is not visible from the tee. After the drive, brave long hitters can consider whether it is worth taking a shortcut over the rough on the left towards the green.

From The Fairway Everyone else should stay on the wide fairway along the flower strip. The green is heavily modeled and not easy to read, so a bogey is a good result.

Hole Name Star

From The Tee From the tee on hole 16 you have a spectacular view far into the Leine Valley. The tee shot should be in the direction of the small forest and should not be shortened.

From The Fairway

On The Green The driver may not be the right club for this course for everyone. If the ball is in the middle of the fairway, you can reach the green with a courageous shot uphill and par is (almost) certain.

Hole Name Wren

From The Tee

From The Fairway A meanness of topography! The distance is not the problem, it is the extraordinary slope of the fairway to the right. And so the ball often rolls – how could it be otherwise – at lightning speed into the side penalty area. So keep extremely left, even at the risk of crashing into the wild rose hedge.

On The Green If the ball is placed correctly, a good result on this hole should be easy to achieve, despite the very small but almost flat green.

Hole 18

Hole Name Black-headed Gull

From The Tee There is land in sight and it is not uncommon for the subsequent “round” in the nearby Golfstüberl to be played on the green of this rather easy hole.

From The Fairway However, the rose hedge and the two bunkers on the left and right swallow up many a ball before the golfer even gets his first sip can think at the counter.
