Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee, hole 1 offers a wonderful view over the Pöhl dam recreational area. The first hole is the hardest on the course. It initially runs slightly to the left and then goes back to the right towards the green.
From The Fairway The first 220 meters are accompanied by an exclusion zone on the right and left. There is a bunker on the right side of the fairway starting at 160 meters.
On The Green After about 270 meters, two water hazards come into play to the right and left of the fairway, which could be interesting for the second shot. Here the fairway becomes narrower and then runs straight to the hole.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee The tee box on this par 3 is elevated, giving you a nice view of the hole. There is a water hazard along the left side of the green, as well as directly in front of the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green The exclusion zone lurks behind the green after 10-20 meters. Due to the relatively short length, the aim should be to hit the green with the first shot, although the right side of the green is better as it offers more space.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This second hardest hole on the course would probably test even professionals. The entire fairway is accompanied by the exclusion boundary on the left. It's clearly uphill to the green, so the hole plays about 220 meters.
From The Fairway The fairway is relatively wide and easy to see. The green is a stepped green and features a bunker on the right side. It is advisable to put the ball into play first to take the pressure of the exclusion off yourself.
On The Green After that, you're left with a not-so-easy pitch into the green. For good players, the green can be reached with a 5-3 wood, especially in midsummer on hard fairways.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee From the tee on the 4th hole there is a wonderful view of the entire golf course and on the other side of the Pöhl dam. The hole runs straight to the green.
From The Fairway After about 100m the fairway rises significantly to a crest and then runs downhill again. The exclusion boundary runs to the left of the hole. There are two bunkers lurking to the left and right of the green.
On The Green The green itself slopes towards the fairway, making an aggressive shot possible. Since the landing zones cannot be seen behind the hill, it is recommended to place the first shot at the top of the hill so that you can easily find the ball and have a good view of the green.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The second easiest hole on the course is a slight dogleg to the right. It runs parallel to the 4th fairway and slopes slightly towards the green. After about 140 meters there is a bunker on the left side of the fairway.
From The Fairway The green is flat and has 2 bunkers. Both are deep and should be avoided. Long players have the option of driving the green. To do this you have to aim to the right of the green and try to let the ball roll into the green.
On The Green It is important for all second shots that they should not be played too aggressively, as the green does not allow direct play.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee The easiest hole on the course is a slight dogleg to the left. From the tee the hole climbs up to the 100m mark. This is why drive landing zones are sometimes not visible. The green has 2 bunkers on the left and right side.
From The Fairway There is little space behind the green as there is a forest path and then a forest area. The flag position plays an important role on this hole.
On The Green If the position is on the left of the green, the right side of the fairway should be played and turned around, otherwise a high second shot with a lot of spin over the bunker is always required.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The “signature hole” of the course. A par 3 that has it all. A water hazard lurks around the entire green.
From The Fairway It is not a pure island green, as the fairway ends at the green. So there is a path of about 20m where you can land the ball and let it roll onto the green.
On The Green It is advisable to forgo the full attack and perhaps present the ball in order to be relaxed with the second shot on the green.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee The second par 4 over 300 meters is a real test. The fairway slopes slightly up the entire fairway. To the right of the fairway is the exclusion due to the driving range. This ends after approx. 190 meters, followed by a strip of hard rough.
From The Fairway To the left of the fairway there is a strip of hard rough and there is a bunker at 190-220m from the tee. Approximately 100 meters before the green, a forest area begins to the left of the fairway, which extends to the green.
On The Green The green is surrounded by water, similar to the seventh green, except for a small lane of around 10m where you can play the green.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee At the end of the round there is another crisp par 3. The fairway rises significantly towards the green, so depending on the tee position it plays more like 145-155m. Strips of hard rough run to the left and right of the fairly spacious fairway.
From The Fairway The fairway hangs clearly to the right side. The green is protected by two bunkers. There is a pot bunker in front of the green that is difficult to play. There is also a wide bunker at the start of the green that cannot be seen from the tee.
On The Green Since the green is relatively long, we recommend aiming for the beginning to middle of the green when choosing your club, i.e. approx. 140 meters.
