From The Tee A wide fairway opens before you, easing the pressure for your first tee shot, but also raising the chance of a draw. Target the right of the fairway for safety.

From The Fairway With your second shot, aim for the right of the green rather than the center—as long as you avoid the bunker to the left of the green, your first hole should be off to a safe start.

On The Green Aim for the right-hand side of the green and take into account the downward slope on this par-3 hole. Bearing in mind the two-tier green, maximize your chances through careful putting control and good use of the wind.

Hole 3

Hole Name

From The Tee With its rightward dog-leg and overall downward slope from the left, this hole carries a high chance of slicing.

From The Fairway An overly ambitious bid for the right-hand side risks an encounter with the hidden bunker and the challenge of having to clear the water hazard with your second shot.

On The Green By aiming for the club house above the woods, you can reach the green more directly and safely.

Hole 4

Hole Name

From The Tee Demanding full concentration from tee shot all the way to the green, this hole nonetheless offers a sense of challenge and achievement.

From The Fairway From the tee, the left-hand side is out of bounds and a landing on the right-hand side leaves you with a water hazard to clear with the second shot. It’s best to aim for the round camellia tree in the center of the fairway.

On The Green With the second shot, aiming to the right of the tall tree on the left of the fairway is better than going over the water hazard. For the third shot, choose an easy club to avoid the bunkers to left and right. The green features a high chance of hooking due to its downward slope from the right.

Hole Name

From The Tee This is a daunting hole in terms of both distance and psychology, with the greatest overall length of all par-4 holes, an uphill climb to the green, and a prevailing headwind.

From The Fairway The leftward dog-leg means it’s best for players with a range of 200m or more to aim to the right of the left-hand bunker, and for those with a range below 200m to aim to the left of the pine tree at the center of the fairway.

On The Green

Hole Name

From The Tee At this hole, with the green in view straight ahead, it’s tempting to try clearing the bunker on the right. But going too far to the right could lead to a hard second shot from the wooded penalty zone.

From The Fairway Long hitters should aim past the left of the bunker on the right, leaving a short second shot, while more limited hitters should aim between the trees to the left of the right-hand bunker.

On The Green Aiming the second shot to the left side of the green should produce a more satisfying score.

Hole 7

Hole Name

From The Tee This hole offers stunning views of blue skies, green grass and boundless sea from the tee and the green.

From The Fairway Though this looks like an uphill hole from the tee, it’s not. All you need do is focus on the actual distance.

On The Green Don’t let yourself be fooled by the illusion of an upward incline on the green either, and you can expect a good score here.

Hole Name

From The Tee The trees on the right blocking the view from the tee make this a daunting hole, but the fairway beyond is wide open, and you won’t lose your ball after all.

From The Fairway Aim to the right of the left-hand bunker from the tee to reach the closest landing spot.

On The Green Aim for the right-hand side of the green rather than the center. There are plenty of optical illusions here, so seek advice from your caddy.

From The Tee With the green visible straight ahead, this feels like an easy hole. But the topography and the northwest wind from Mt. Halla lead to frequent slicing. Aiming from the tee for the bunker to the left of the green can bring you safely onto the fairway with a natural fade.

From The Fairway The second shot is strongly affected by topography and wind; aiming for the left-hand side of the green will set you on the way to a good score.
