From The Fairway This is the start of the new section of the course until Hole 10. This second hole is stunning with tees spanning the pond which has been specifically built to conserve the protected species of great crested newt. Play on to a contoured green that is guarded by a lateral water hazard and large deep bunkers. Watch for the boggy hollows within the grassy banks on the right of the fairway.

From The Tee A short walk behind the driving range down a path taking you to the first of two terraced holes set into one side of the valley looking towards Henley. This green is not as contoured as many on this new section of the course, but it lies with the slope running down to it on the left which continues down to the right of the green towards the 6th tee.

From The Fairway A relatively long hole finishing up the hill to a raised green with a terraced hollow to the front. Again plantations are found on both sides of the fairway creating a fringe to the mature woodland.

From The Fairway Longer than you may think, drive it as straight as possible avoiding the century-old tree directly in the fairway, and the ditch to the right setting the boundary to the eighteenth fairway.

From The Tee A signature hole at Hennerton locally known as "Cardiac Hill". The reward for making it up this hill is the magnificent view which spans to Henley-on-Thames.

From The Fairway You'll need to be accurate for the initial drive. Then, once you've overcome the pond on the left and the lateral ditch crossing the fairway, your shot should take you clear to the green handily positioned just by the clubhouse patio and on towards an open bar!
