From The Tee The course’s only blind tee shot which, if hit over the marker post towards the church, leaves you in good shape. Avoiding the fairway bunker on the right and the bunker just left of the centre of the fairway, will leave you a mid-iron into a green protected by mounds, a right greenside bunker and hollows.

From The Tee This is a truly great par 3. Considered by Henry Cotton to be the best short hole in Lancashire, it usually plays into the prevailing wind. A long iron, hybrid or wood is required to find the surface on an extremely well bunkered green. Avoiding the road on the right is a must. Three is a great score.
