Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The first of back-to back par fives, the opening hole at Inglewood Golf Club is an uphill 460 yard par 5 reachable with two long, accurate shots. Tee shots must avoid the bunkers that come into play on the left 260 yards from the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green The two-tiered green is guarded by 2 large bunkers. Reaching the proper level on the green will certainly assist with putting.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee The second hole is a challenging 461 yard uphill dogleg left par 4 that requires an accurate tee shot up the left side.
From The Fairway
On The Green Your second shot or layup is guarded by a left bunker 75 yards from the green, accuracy is a must. Play next to an elevated green that slopes left to right and back to front, and is guarded by three large bunkers. Along with most A.V. Macan built courses, this green allows access for approach shots on the ground or in the air.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This seemingly innocuous 287 dogleg right par 4 is more challenging than it appears.
From The Fairway
On The Green A precise layup off the tee is important as there are 2 bunkers positioned in the left hand rough 190-210 yards off the tee. You can attempt to play a left-to-right moving shot with a driver up near the green, however any shot to the left side will leave you with a dicey short approach into an extremely left to right sloped green that is protected by 2 deep bunkers.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This par 4 368 yard hole requires a blind tee shot that should favor the left side.
From The Fairway
On The Green If you choose to lay-up on the top of hill, your next shot will be played from 155 - 170 yards downhill to a slightly back to front sloping green guarded by 3 bunkers. Many players will aggressively play their tee shot past the top of the hill and leave themselves a downhill lie for a shorter shot to the green. This hole is very picturesque and one that will create an uneven lie or two.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee This 398 yard dogleg right par 4 offers a lot of room off the tee with the possibility of cutting the corner slightly. A long, well played tee shot leaves you a mid to short iron downhill approach to a narrow target,
From The Fairway
On The Green with a back-to-front sloping green. Don’t let the lack of sand fool you! On either side of the green large grass bunkers await to collect errant approach shots. Playing short of this green and then chipping up is definitely an option.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Our signature downhill 178 yard par 3 sixth hole is a true gem.
From The Fairway
On The Green There are slopes in front and behind the green, along with green side bunkers guarding the right and left sides. Accuracy is a must; however you can generally use one club less due to the downhill nature of the hole.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee This 544 yard par 5 is straight away and offers a good birdie chance if you can hit 3 accurate shots.
From The Fairway Out of Bounds is in play on the left and right sides of this hole, and a fairway bunker guards the right side of the fairway as well. Accuracy is a must here, as there are more bunkers to negotiate along the right side and surrounding both sides of the green.
On The Green The green slopes from back to front, once again allowing for shots played short to run onto the green. Like most holes at IGC, balls long and over the green will find trouble.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee The par 3 eighth hole measures 202 yards.
From The Fairway
On The Green There is a deep bunker guarding the right side of the green, and players are happy to walk away with a par!
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee This 396 yard par 4 is a difficult hole to finish out the front nine with Out of Bounds along both sides, pinching in on left in the landing area.
From The Fairway The fairway slopes upwards about 260 yards from the tee, making the approach shot to the green a bit longer than you might think.
On The Green A precise strike is required here as bunkers surround the left, right and backside of the green . The green is slightly evaluated and crowned, making short pitch and bunker shots tricky.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee The 380 yard par 4 tenth hole plays much longer than its yardage.
From The Fairway An accurate drive in the fairway is key here because the uphill second shot plays at least 2 clubs longer.
On The Green Bunkers guard this extremely shallow green on both sides and under-clubbed approach shots will generally roll back down the hill in the summer months. A fabulous Macan designed hole that challenges all players.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee This 373 yard par 4 offers a generous landing area off the tee but a big miss right will find Out of Bounds .
From The Fairway A key here is find the fairway or at least the right portion of the fairway to allow a better approach angle to a considerably left to right sloped green.
On The Green While the bunker guarding the right side of the green gives you an opportunity to get up and down, the bunker on the left leaves you with a very difficult downhill sloping shot that likely won't stop on the green surface. All putts from front to back or back to front on this green will break considerably more than estimated.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee This short 153 yard par 3 plays downhill and requires an accurate strike to avoid the bunkers on either side.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green slopes from back to front and right to left. Definitely not a hole to miss long on, as you could be re-teeing another ball with Out of Bounds over this green!
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee The 346 yard par 4 thirteenth hole is a generous driving hole with trees along the left side.
From The Fairway
On The Green An accurate uphill approach is required as this green is multi-tiered with three distinct sections. Bunkers on the right and front-left offer difficult up and downs to nearly every pin. Another hole with a tricky up-and-down from over the green!
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee This 397 yard par 4 hole opens with a slightly blind tee shot to a right-to-left
From The Fairway sloping fairway that runs into a gulley at about 280 yards. Protected by two bunkers on the left.
On The Green A large bowl area in the middle left side of the green collects most approach shots that aren't struck perfectly, creating fun pin locations many days on the 14th hole!
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee This 440 yard uphill dogleg left par 5 requires an accurate tee shot to avoid a bunker 260 yards out on the left side and Out-of-Bounds along the right.
From The Fairway Navigate up the hill and set yourself up for a second shot that avoids the fairway bunker
On The Green 90 yards short right of green and bunkers flanking both sides if going for the green. Your uphill approach into this two-tiered green will require your utmost attention: any shots a bit short will trickle off the false front and roll back down the hill.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee The last par 3 of the day requires a well struck shot on this 197 yard hole.
From The Fairway
On The Green Bunkers protect both sides of the narrow opening to the green; however a running type shot is an option into this strong three par hole. A tee shot carried over the right hand bunker will also yield a manageable up and down.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This 397 yard dogleg right par 4 offers a nice birdie
From The Fairway opportunity if you can find the fairway. The approach to the green is played slightly downhill with the fairway/green slope going away from you as well, making shots from the rough difficult to stop on the putting surface.
On The Green Your tee shot will definitely determine your approach options on this hole, over this green is quite challenging! The green side bunker on the right is 10 yards short of the putting surface and balls carrying this bunker will generally take the slope the run onto the green.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee Tee it high and let it fly on this beautiful downhill par 5 that measures 496 yards, bringing you back to the golf shop and clubhouse.
From The Fairway
On The Green Water guards the green short and left while bunkers come into play on the right side. An accurate approach into this back to front and right to left sloping green will give you a quality birdie opportunity on your last hole of the day.
