Hole Name
From The Tee The 1st Hole (Dhunan) is a dog-leg par 4 with a blind second shot for mere mortals if driving from the white tees.
From The Fairway The two tiered green is difficult to catch as it lies across the line of the approach shot, is downhill from the fairway and the top level slopes from front to back.
On The Green An over struck second may find the out of bounds which lies adjacent to the back of the lower tier of the green. Walk off happy with a par.

Hole Name
From The Tee The 2nd hole (Dip) is a steeply downhill Par 3. The tee shot must be accurate as out of bounds runs tight down the whole of the right hand side.
From The Fairway
On The Green a small narrow green nestles at the bottom of a left to right slope. Members tend to favour playing between 'The Coffin' and the green and allowing the ball to run down onto the green. Depending on the dryness of the course, this may be as far left as the trees or alternatively played short of the gully and hope for a kindly bounce through it and down to the green. From The Tee The 3rd Hole (Athena) is a fairly straightforward Par 3.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green lies downhill from the tee and, like the second, is cut into a slope. In dry conditions a tee shot to the tree line on the left may bring the best result.

From The Tee The 4th hole (Puzzle) is another short Par 3, but this time uphill to a long narrow green cut into the steep right to left slope.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green lies diagonal to the line of approach and the 'Valley of Sin' awaits anything played short or slightly left. A good line is over the middle of the grass bunker which lies short of the green.

From The Tee The 5th Hole (Cluniter) is a short Par 4, but approach with care.
From The Fairway The left to right sloping fairway will take anything right down to the trees, especially in dry conditions.
On The Green A line of trees on the left guards the green for the drive hit down the left of the fairway. Big hitters can have a go from the tee, but it must be accurate.

From The Tee The 6th hole (Rubicon) is the course's signature hole. A longish Par 4,
From The Fairway
On The Green this hole is fraught with danger from start to finish. With out of bounds adjacent to the tee and continuing all the way to the green, a right to left slope which will take the ball down to the left and bring the old oak tree into play and too long a drive will bring the walls and gully into the reckoning. Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 7 (Paddy's Pond) is a short par 4. Driveable for big hitters, accuracy is the key at this hole. A lateral water hazard runs the length of the right, with out of bounds running parallel within a few metres. The tee is situated on the left hand side and another lateral water hazard comes into play on this side as well as deep rough and trees.

From The Tee Hole 8 (Knockamillie) is a mid length par 3 with no real dangers other than yourself.
From The Fairway Plenty of room, both left and right, although an overhit tee shot could run into rushes behind the green which sits just below the level of the fairway.

From The Tee
From The Fairway The final hole, the 9th, (Weall's Way), has the 1st fairway to the left and playing close to this fairway may be the safer route to the hole.
On The Green On the right is 'The Tank' which is out of bounds and comes into play the more right your tee shot finishes. Dry conditions favour playing short and bouncing one onto the green.
