From The Fairway A 400+ yard par 5 greets players to Island View Golf Club. Players will need a straight drive down the tree-lined fairway. Bunkers on the right side of the fairway also greet players who may drift to the right.

From The Fairway Back up hill for this difficult par 4. A large fairway bunker lies to the left side of the fairway and is in play for most hitters. Avoid hitting too far to the right side of the fairway, as the trees will make an approach shot difficult.

From The Tee The second-longest hole at Island View, this hole represents your first hole with water. Golfers can pull out their drivers for this hole, as the water won’t be in play until shot #2. Don’t drift too far to the right, however, as a road runs along the length of the hole.

From The Fairway This par 4 features a long, straight fairway that begins to go dramatically downhill at 229 yards. Longer hitters can get some help if they hit the fairway and let their ball roll down the hill.

From The Fairway Hole #7 is a long par 4, where players tee off high on the hill and hit down into the valley into a wide open fairway. Fairway bunkers are located to the right and left of the landing area, but long hitters can take them out of play with a good tee shot.

From The Fairway Simliar to the previous hole, players on this par 4 tee off from high on the bluff and shoot down into the valley. Tee shots would be well placed on the left side of the fairway to avoid the two bunkers on the right. Being on the left side also sets up a nice approach shot onto the small, elevated green.

From The Tee One of the most unique and scenic holes at Island View Golf Club, this par 4 requires a well-placed tee shot to have a chance at a birdie.

From The Fairway A nice long drive into this wide fairway sets up a short approach shot onto the green. Players may want to play this hole on the right side of the fairway, which will take the fairway bunker (215 yards from the teebox) and green-side bunker out of play.

From The Fairway Make sure you check the pin placement before deciding on a club for this par 3. With the flat, manicured fairway, players can roll up a tee shot to a pin that is placed in the front of the green.

From The Fairway Players who like to hit to the left may have a tough time on this hole. The wide fairway narrows at 228 yards, and is then protected by three large fairway bunkers.

Players hoping to avoid the water should not play too far to the right, however, as fairway bunkers line the right side of the narrowing fairway. The safe play it to land short of both, then chip onto the green and putt for your birdies or pars.
