Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A dogleg left with fairway bunkers positioned on the left and right requiring a well-placed drive down the middle.
From The Fairway The approach shot also requires accurate placement.
On The Green the green is protected by a bunker at the rear and right. A mound to the left and a run-off to the rear also make getting up and down difficult. A par on this hole is a good start to the Quarry course.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Joondalup’s signature “moon crater” hole. An accurate drive is required to avoid the steep grassy slope on the left and the large expanse of sand which intersects the fairway on the right. The approach up a steep slope to an elevated two-tier green requires careful club selection to land on the correct tier.

Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee A stunning yet visually intimidating par 3 hole with a full carry required over the large quarry to avoid the Penalty Area and reloading. Anything left, right, short, or long will either be bunkered or lost forever.

Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A double dogleg par 5 with the final third of its fairway played over and around a 100 m sand hazard at the base of a 3 m cliff. You need a ladder to climb into this bunker and a prayer to get out. An accurate drive is required short of the right fairway bunker. The options for the second shot are to lay-up short of the sand or attack the cliff. The latter will require aggressive play to bite off

Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This slight dogleg left plays downhill from the tee and around a quarry. The drive is straight forward but be careful not to run out of fairway, or worse, go beyond the fence and Penalty Area into the quarry. Depending on where the flag is positioned and the wind direction, the approach shot over the quarry can be very intimidating. It is critical to hit the right landing area on this heavily con

Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee This relatively short par 4 plays from an elevated tee and may be intimidating for short hitters who must carry the Penalty Area. The drive must avoid a large expanse of sand down the left side and a bunker on the right. A well-positioned fairway bunker may restrict the longer hitters from taking driver. The approach shot is uphill to an elevated green protected by a large bunker at the front. Th

Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee A challenging long par 3 off the back tee, with bunkers protecting the back and front right of the green. The latter requiring a long carry to clear. The safest shot is to land the ball on the left side of the green and then trust your putting skill. The left side of the green slopes from back to front and the right side sits in a bowl with a ridge dividing the two sides. A par 3 is a good result

Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee This par 5 is an eagle chance for the long hitters if there is no head wind. The drive is protected by bunkers left and right. The second shot, if laying up, needs to avoid fairway bunkers down the right side. This will leave a short pitch to a three-tiered green protected by a bunker front right and mounds and a grassy hollow on the left making getting up and down difficult. The green slopes fro

Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole typically plays into a breeze and requires a solid drive to clear the left fairway bunker. A wayward drive will find the right bunker, or worse, thick bush on the left and right of the fairway. The approach is important with the green protected by a bunker front right, with mounding, slopes, and grassy hollows around the green.
