Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A relatively straight forward opening hole which is downhill and plays to a green that slopes left to right. Beware pin placements on the right as putting from the centre/left can still leave plenty of work to do.

Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The hole plays over a hill to a fairway that slopes left to right. The fairway is generously wide and the green slopes from back/left to front/right. A second putt from beyond the hole can sometimes be difficult.

Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green A short dogleg right to left, with tall trees guarding the left corner. Gives the big hitters an opportunity to get close to the green providing they shape the ball around the corner. The green slopes from back to front – very important to keep the ball below the hole.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A straight away hole which can be driven by the long hitters in the right conditions. Both the fairway and green slope gently from left to right making shots from the left hand side of the fairway more difficult. The green is not very deep and is protected by 2 bunkers behind, with a difficult up and down.

Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee Perhaps Korumburra’s signature hole. Can play longer than its meterage as you drive into a hill which slopes gently from left to right.
From The Fairway Longer hitters need to be wary of a water hazard which is situated over the hill on the right hand side.
On The Green From the top of the hill you play over a gully to a green which sits at an angle and slopes from left to right. Two putting from above the hole is a severe test.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Wide fairway which slopes significantly from right to left. Small “upturned saucer” green also slopes from right to left. Missing the green right will leave possibly the hardest chip on the course.

Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Testing uphill par 3 playing generally into the prevailing wind to a very small green which slopes from back to front.

Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green A panoramic view from the tee sees a wide fairway with gentle undulations. The green sits on a small hill and is protected by mounds at the front. The green slopes from back/right to front left – beware a left hand pin if chipping/putting from the right.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway An uphill par 4 which is full of deception. The fairway looks wide but go too far right and you will be blocked out by trees – but the right side of the fairway gives the best angle to attack this long, narrow elevated green. The green surface cannot be seen from the fairway.

Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee A panoramic view of Korumburra township and Wilson’s Promontory from this elevated tee. The hole plays downhill to a reasonable sized green which is hard to get on because it is quite fast from front to back.

Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee This challenging hole is defined by the penalty area that runs all the way down the right side. The drive is therefore very important.
From The Fairway So aim up the left side. The green is elevated from the fairway, but is fairly flat and rather generous in size.
On The Green
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee The 12th hole is the second hardest hole on the course. Like the 11th, 3/4 of the right side is penalty area, which runs beside the reservoir and courses water supply. It takes two very good shots to reach the green in two. The green does slope back to front and a two putt is a very good result.

Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee This little par 3 gem is set up against some pine trees and is guarded on the right by a bunker. The pond on the right adds a little extra visual challenge to the hole as well. The green is also flatter than most and offers a good chance for a par.

Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green The 14th hole is legendary and is known as “Webb’s Horror” after Laurie Webb. Back in the day the fairway was mowed all the way to the green and balls would roll off the green and all the way down the hill. Now there is rough about 80 m out. The green slopes left to right and is guarded by a bunker on the right.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee This very picturesque hole offers the most panoramic views of the golf course and is the furthest hole from the club house.
From The Fairway The drive is very demanding as there is out of bounds all the way down the right side and a penalty area on the left about 120 m from the hole.
On The Green The green offers a unique challenge with a hump on the right middle of the green.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This drivable hole for the decent hitter offers a birdie opportunity with a well struck drive. The fairway does have a large right to left slope, so it is better to aim up the right side, while avoiding the out of bound fence on the right. The green has a similar slope as the fairway.
On The Green
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green The 17th offers danger on the right with pine trees lining the out of bounds. The fairway is a slight dogleg right and a good drive sets you up for a mid iron into a friendlier green.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The home hole rises up before you as you stand on the tee box and you can see the Club House just beyond the green. This par 5 is uphill all the way, with the same pine trees lining the out of bounds as the 17th.
From The Fairway The fairway does slope right to left and the shot into the green is uphill. A bunker on the left catches balls hit a little left, with the car park right behind the green. A big green will greet you which has a lot of slope in places. Many a round has been won or lost on this hole.
