From The Tee Dogleg Left: A fairly welcoming starting hole, but avoid the Out of Bounds up the left side (driving range)
From The Fairway and the Hazard which crosses the fairway 100 yards from the green. Big hitters may want to hit three wood depending on the conditions.
On The Green This green slopes moderately from left to right.

From The Tee Straight Away: This uphill par 4 is completely set up by the tee shot.
From The Fairway Avoid Out of Bounds left and fly the ball enough to carry the hazard in the fairway. If you push the tee shot, it must travel 235 yards to carry the the pond on 8.
On The Green The green slopes severely left to right. Keep it below the hole!

From The Tee Slightly Uphill: Wind always plays a factor in club selection. Avoid the front right bunker, Out of Bounds left and going long, as this miss sets up a tricky downhill chip shot.

From The Tee Dogleg Left: One of the best birdie chances on the entire course. Out of Bounds will come into play if you pull the tee shot too far left.

On The Green Play a shot just right of the trees and you’ll have a long iron or hybrid into a fairly flat putting surface. There is a large birdhouse behind the green that will give you the proper line into the green.

From The Tee Straight Away/ Downhill: A driver is not necessary here (O-B Left), but putting the ball in the dairway is.
From The Fairway
On The Green The second shot will be off of a down slope to a green that will play tricks on you! Play less break than you see and birdie is a possibility.

From The Tee Uphill: This is the deepest green at Sunset Ridge, at over 130 feet in length. Take note of the hole location to pick the proper club. If you’re long or left with your approach, a bogey is a near certainty. Par is a good score!

From The Tee Downhill/ Dogleg Right: The longest hole in CNY will play shorter due to its gradual downhill pitch.
From The Fairway
On The Green The key is the second shot, which should be played to the 130-150 yard zone to avoid the trees on both sides of the approach. The green slopes right to left and a miss to the right will make getting up and down a real headache on the #1 handicap hole.

From The Tee This is the hardest of the six par 3’s due to its length and severely sloped green.
From The Fairway
On The Green Keep the ball left of the pin to give yourself any chance of birdie. There is a hazard short right of the green and a bunker to the left. Par is a GREAT score on this hole!

From The Tee Straight Away: Along with hole #4, this is a great birdie chance.
From The Fairway With a trailing wind, this hole can play as short as driver and a long iron for the big hitters. If you are looking for an eagle, this is the hole to do it on. Avoid the trees up the left side and the fairway bunker on the right, and you’re home free.
On The Green The green slopes from right to left and an approach shot to the right will challenge your short game skill as you will be short-sides over a bunker!

From The Tee Dogleg Left: Avoid the right rough, as it’s some of the thickest on the course.
From The Fairway
On The Green A short iron approach could leave you with a great birdie chance. The green slopes left to right more than it appears.

From The Tee Dogleg Right: Not even the big hitters take on this hazard. Leave your driver in the bag.
From The Fairway The fairway ends at the edge of the pond a mere 235 yards off the back tees. Carry your tee shot 210 yards in the air and roll into prime position. DO NOT go long with your approach or risk a double bogey.

On The Green the green being downhill more than you think. Long and right are bogeys at minimum. The green slopes from back left to front right. If possible, stay below the hole and run to the next tee if you make a par!

From The Fairway Dogleg Left: A wide fairway awaits your tee shot, and you’ll be able to cut the corner by hitting your second shot over the large boulder on top of the small hill.
On The Green Avoid the deep bunker just short of the green and make sure to leave the approach below the hole on this huge green. A good birdie chance for the better putters!

From The Tee Dogleg Right: Out of Bounds down the left side forces many to bail out to the right into the mounds.
From The Fairway A long, straight tee shot can leave a long iron over the corner into the green, but the more prudent play calls for a fairway wood off the tee, mid-iron lay-up, and attack
On The Green the green with wedge. This is a true risk/reward par 5! A hazard long and bunker short await your approach shot!

From The Fairway
On The Green but the green slopes severely from back to front. Add one club to the yardage, but DO NOT go past the pin. You may have a putt for birdie, but par is a good score here!

From The Tee Dogleg Right: Our signature hole only measures 389 yards, but there is trouble everywhere you look. Hug the left side with a long iron tee shot.
From The Fairway The fairway ends 230 yards off the tee. Once safely in play, a severe downhill approach shot to a two-tiered green over the ravine is all that is left.
On The Green If the pin is on the upper shelf, DO NOT miss the green to the right. Any approach that lands in the middle of the green will roll down and to the left. If the pin is on the bottom left, this hole can bring a birdie!

From The Tee Slightly Downhill: The green slopes to the left and is shared with hole 10. No real trouble on this one but at 191 yards,
From The Fairway
On The Green still might not be the easiest par 3 on the course. Avoid missing the green to the right!

From The Tee Dogleg Right: Out of Bounds up the entire left side will steer your ball right. The rough on the right is not a friendly place either.
From The Fairway A good drive may get you a glimpse around the dog leg and tempt you to cut a fairway wood up there, but a mid iron lay-up may be the best bet.
On The Green A large green awaits and the slope from right to left is more severe than is first looks!
