From The Tee A right to left dogleg with the second shot being played through a gap in the row of trees known as “the Beech Walk”. Accuracy is required off the tee to avoid a bunker on the right and trees on the left and set up an easy second shot.

From The Fairway Unusually this is the third par 5 in the first five holes. The drive needs to favour the left side of the fairway, which cambers gently to the right, to give a clear second shot downhill.
