Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A solid hole with many options. A good drive down the left sets up a real birdie opportunity but with water in play. Lay up before the water leaves a short iron to a large but tricky and well protected green.

Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A fantastic par 3 that, depending on the wind, could require you to hit an 8 iron or a 3 wood. A par here on any day is good work. With the wind often blowing from the right, be careful to avoid the water on the left.

Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Index 1 on the card, and deserves to be. Requires two really good shots to a well protected, hard green. Short is much better than long but accuracy is required with the narrowing fairway.

From The Fairway
On The Green Choosing a club for a 200 meters shot off the tee will leave you in a perfect shape past the corner for a short iron to a green requiring extreme accuracy. With a shorter tee-shot, left is not the place to be.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee A long par 3 sloping away to the right from the tee. A long iron to the centre of the green is smart play.
From The Fairway
On The Green A little short will not reach the green, a little long leaves a difficult recovery from over the back. Getting near the pin is difficult from the bunkers on the left.

On The Green Finally a let up – a short hole. But there is an unkind catch. Five deep bunkers and a sloping green very narrow in the front – a real test of the mind. Play safe to the centre of the wide part of the green. Avoid the front bunkers when the pin is down front.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Beautiful to admire, but we’re here to play. Thing long iron or fairway wood to the centre of the wide fairway and safely avoid the water. This leaves a mid-long iron to a large undulating green. Left or right the green is bad, short is a safe layup. A four is reward for smart play.

From The Fairway
On The Green A real test of your driving ability. A good drive or tree wood with a little draw leaves you centre fairway with a mid to long iron to the big green which looks closer than it is. A pleasure to play well.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A short Par 5 where two smart woods can reward you with an easy and well deserved birdie. Keep left to open the green and avoid the OOB and the large tree to the green which spoils short iron approaches.
On The Green The cluster of bunkers short left of the green are best avoided. Now take a short break for refreshments at the club-house.
Hole 10

From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green A soft Par 5, but anything to the left off the tree is in danger. A good drive allow you to reach the green in two, but beware – the green – well protected with bunkers, is sloped back to front and quite quick. A real birdie chance, but par is no disgrace
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A good accurate tee-shot essential here. Hit the fairway and you should not have much trouble, but a wayward shot is severely punished and takes par out of play. Play safe here!

From The Fairway
On The Green A sensational driving hole – pull out the chief and knock one down there. Right-centre of the fairway is ideal – you can be closed out if too far left. Now a mid-long iron into a huge green where short is much better than long. A hole you will remember.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A great short Par 4, where a good tee shot is the key. Ideally a 3 wood or long iron to the right- centre of the fairway, leaving a simple pitch to short iron and a real birdie chance. Too far left off the tee hides the green completely.
On The Green The green slopes severely back to front, best to finish your approach under the hole. Thoughtful play brings its rewards.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee One of the best Par 3’s you will ever see, but unfortunately we have to play it. Although the green is big, the difficulty is in judging the wind – it can play anything from an 8 iron to a driver.
From The Fairway The water can play mind games if there is any doubt so be brave, pick your club and swing confidently to the pin. Doesn’t it look great though?
On The Green
Hole 15

From The Tee
From The Fairway Length here can be your enemy. A fairway wood off the tee short left of the bunker leaves a 120-150 metre shot into a deceptive green that looks smaller than it is. A four here takes good shots.

From The Fairway
On The Green If you are hitting the driver well, you will love this hole. A good drive leaves you close with a good chance of a birdie, but a poor drive can cause dramas – choose your tee club carefully. The green is long but narrow, so accurate length on approach is required.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green A challenging short hole usually playing into the prevailing wind. Play to the centre of the green, leaving an easy two-putt (or even a birdie). Miss the green and you pay the penalty. Long is nasty – you may need a cut lunch.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway One of the best closing holes in Queensland, a long uphill Par 5 with generous fairways. Concentrate not on length but on keeping the ball on the short grass.
On The Green Three good shots and two putts is the best way, avoiding the bunkers in front. Downhill putts can be a challenge. A par here deserves a refreshing ale just a few steps away.
