From The Fairway This hole allows you to ease into your round with a short Par 5. Measuring at 485 yards from the longest tee, a good drive avoiding the fairway bunker will allow you to give this hole a go at it in 2.

On The Green A shot long over the green will force you to chip back to the green running away from you. Be sure to take advantage of this short Par 5 to get your round started on the right foot.

Not only will you be expected to miss the two large trees on both sides of the green and the creek that runs short of the green, you will want to be on the correct level of this large 2 tiered green.

From The Tee This slight dogleg right is relatively generous off the tee, but requires precision on the approach shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green This small green sloping from back to front is elevated and has 2 bunkers guarding the front of the green.

From The Tee The fourth hole is a dogleg left and is regarded as one of the signature holes. This difficult par 4 is often referred to as “The Barn Hole” due to running along the maintenance barns and an old vintage silo remaining from the original farmland.

From The Fairway

On The Green Out-of-bounds runs along the left of the hole and a pond guarding the green for the approach shot. The tee shot is a blind shot to the fairway; it is recommended to aim for the steeple of St. Charles Seminary. Par will be a great score.

From The Tee The second signature hole is the toughest of the 3 Par 3s. A precise shot is needed to navigate through the tall oak trees to hit a green guarded by bunkers on the left and right. This hole usually plays into the prevailing west wind, so be sure to take enough club in order to give yourself a chance at a par or maybe even birdie.

From The Tee The sixth hole has another blind shot from the back 2 tees. Be sure to get your target and trust it.

From The Fairway The fairway slopes right to left and a shot that gets too far left will need to navigate over the trees left of the fairway

On The Green A nice approach shot to this large green will give you a good chance at a birdie.

From The Fairway This hole requires two good shots in order to get a relatively easy par. A drive in the fairway will leave a middle length shot into this green with multiple slopes and a bunker on the left. Make a par and you will feel good about this hole.

From The Tee The longest of the par 5s marks the third signature hole that will be remembered. A drive to the right will end up wet in the pond; it is advised to aim for the Carthagena church steeple.

From The Fairway

On The Green The second shot will want to be placed on the right for a front hole location and on the left for a back hole location. There is a creek that runs 30 yards short of the green that needs to be avoided in order to have an open third shot into this two tiered green guarded by 5 bunkers. With the 3 good shots, a birdie is very possible.

From The Tee The front 9 is rounded out with a short risk-reward par 4 guarded by a creek on the right and over the green. A tee shot that misses the two bunkers will give you a great opportunity to put a short shot close for birdie.

On The Green With this green having 3 tiers, be sure to be on the correct tier in order for a good look at that birdie.

From The Tee The back 9 gets started with a tight par 4 that does not require a driver off the tee.

From The Fairway

On The Green A shot in the fairway should leave a short approach into the green and another great opportunity at a birdie.

From The Fairway The eleventh hole is a dogleg right with trees and fescue guarding the dogleg. A good drive into the fairway will give you a good look into this two-tiered green.

On The Green If the hole is on the top tier, a par is a great score. A shot over the green will end up in the creek most times.

From The Tee This hole is regarded as the toughest driving hole on the golf course with out-of-bounds left and a creek right. The second shot is no slouch either; precision will be needed in order to have a good look at a birdie. A par is considered a great score heading into the only par 5 on the back.

From The Tee The only par 5 on the back 9 couldn’t be any straighter. This hole runs to the south with a creek on the right and a waste bunker running along the left side of the hole.

On The Green A good drive will leave you with a blind shot over the hill toward the green. With 2 good shots, an eagle putt could be attained. This green has multiple slopes with 2 bunkers guarding the front and pine trees catching any balls that go long.

From The Fairway The second shot will need to be placed on the right part of the green in order for a good look at a birdie.

On The Green A drive missing this fairway will require you to deal with some sort of trees in order to get to the green. This dogleg left is considered “Don’s Heaven on Earth” and is recommended to hit a fairway metal or hybrid off the tee in order to miss all the trees.

From The Fairway This short Par 4 has a blind tee shot with a generous fairway and plenty of room to miss the fairway.

On The Green The second shot will need to be judged just right in order to get it close on this two tiered green. There is a bunker guarding the front of the green for any of those that are thinking about running their tee shot onto the green.

From The Tee The last Par 3 of the round gives plenty of room around the green with a large green in order to make a par. A solid shot on the green or a solid chip will give you a great chance at an important late in the round.

From The Tee This Par 4 has plenty of trouble with trees left and a creek right off the tee. A driver is not always needed in order to place the tee shot in the correct position.

On The Green The second shot will cross the creek to a green guarded by 2 front bunkers. This is the last good chance at a birdie before the home hole.

Hole Name

From The Tee The home hole is the final signature hole on the golf course. This hole plays into a prevailing west wind making it even longer than what is listed on the scorecard. There is not much room to miss the fairway with the tee shot.

On The Green The second shot will need to cross the creek and be placed in the right position on or around the green. A par on the home hole and you will go home with wanting to come back the next day.
