From The Tee Prevailing winds and a firm, fast fairway shorten this hole

From The Fairway Rip your drive dead straight. Distance control on your short iron second shot is critical

On The Green The green features a crossing ridge which divides it into two distinct putting surfaces, front and back. Identifying the pin placement is imperative. Another birdie opportunity

Hole 4

Hole Name Hell’s Gate

From The Tee Two great shots can get you home but attacking this hole is not recommended, big numbers are common here

From The Fairway Played as a three shot hole, number 4 requires an accurate drive between water and O-B followed by a mid iron lay-up to around 100-125 yards

On The Green A well executed pitch to a difficult green will give you a chance for birdie but be happy with par

Hole 5

Hole Name Buried Treasure

From The Tee Number 5 is a penal golf hole. A headwind will make this difficult driving hole very long

From The Fairway All misses must be right, especially the approach. This hole’s name comes from the green which is bisected by a huge mound extending from left to right.

On The Green Par from the wrong side of the ridge is unthinkable. There are no straight putts here. Attack this hole! A par is a good score and a birdie is like “buried treasure

Hole Name Undulations

From The Tee This par 4 has a generous landing area designed for players to jump on their tee shots

From The Fairway mid iron approach finds you on one of the most unusual greens you will ever see.

On The Green he “dance floor” is divided into 4 sections of different elevation. When in doubt, hit to the middle and try to 2 putt. Par is attainable but mistakes are severely punished

Hole Name Short & Sweet

From The Tee Sand, water, and a divided fairway create a wonderful strategy.

From The Fairway Long hitters beware! Though driveable, there is plenty of trouble waiting.

On The Green With luck you can card eagle. By playing smart, birdie is the target score

Hole Name Links Land

From The Tee This par 3 exemplifies the personality of NO-Ble Hawk.

From The Fairway Multiple tees, a large undulated green, a wooden bulkhead back drop, and native grasses which cover the extensive perimeter mounding

On The Green It’s a picture postcard from Scotland. Take dead aim. Club selection is the key to this beautiful par 3.

Hole Name The Talon

From The Tee A great finishing hole to the front nine. This is the #1 handicap hole for a reason

From The Fairway Keep your drive left to avoid the lake which creeps in from the right

On The Green From the left side you have an excellent angle into a green that seems to go on forever. Putting challenges add to the difficulty of this hole. Par is a great score

Hole Name A New Start

From The Tee From the tee you will notice a distinct change in NO-Ble Hawk’s personality

From The Fairway This short par 4 begins a stretch of beautiful tree-lined holes. Lay off the drive, distance is unimportant here

On The Green From the middle of the fairway you should have a short iron to a small, severe green. Hole placement will determine the difficulty of this hole

Hole Name The Hawk’s Cathedral

From The Tee Over a ravine and surrounded by trees, this is one of the best and prettiest par threes you will ever play

From The Fairway If you miss, miss short or right. Playing for the middle of the green, regardless of hole placement, will pay off. Confidence is key

Hole Name Big Lumber

From The Tee The “Big Dogs” can blast their drives over the right fairway bunker and shorten this long dogleg right.

From The Fairway Shorter hitters must drive left for the optimum angle of approach.

On The Green The green is extremely long resulting in a one or two club difference from front to back. A great opportunity to attack

Hole 13

Hole Name The Jugular

From The Tee A true three shot par 5. This is no place to lack confidence. Launch your drive down the right side.

From The Fairway Choose an iron or fairway wood to carefully lay-up, again favoring the right side. Distance control is very important on your approach

On The Green You must land on the correct section of this long, narrow, three tiered green. Double bogie and worse are common. Par here feels like a birdie.

Hole 14

Hole Name Narrow Passage

From The Tee Appropriately named, 14 is a very narrow but short par 4.

From The Fairway The smart play is to hit an iron or fairway wood for accuracy. Allow the funneled fairway to channel your ball to the middle.

On The Green You will be set-up for a short iron to a smallish green. Don’t let the green’s false front fool you. From the middle of the green you will face no more than a 15 footer to any hole placement. Do not hit over this green

Hole Name Hawk’s Challenge

From The Tee Most will fear, few will prevail, and all will respect this beast of a par 3.

From The Fairway NO-Ble Hawk’s signature hole features a large, undulated green that has been designed to accept well hit shots

On The Green Bailing left offers little respite. Ignore the trouble and swing with confidence. Good shots will be rewarded. A grand challenge

Hole Name Eagle’s Lair

From The Tee A reachable par 5 with two big swings. Generous landing area allows you to “grip and rip” off the tee.

From The Fairway Lack of serious trouble around the green means go for it!

On The Green Two well hit shots will earn a run at eagle, however, putting this wavy green will make your knees knock! A perfect birdie opportunity

Hole 17

Hole Name Rapter’s Roost

From The Tee Another medium length par three featuring a long and slender, two tiered green

From The Fairway Hole placement can dramatically change the length and difficulty of this hole. Avoid the sand, up-and-downs are difficult here

On The Green Well exercised play will earn a run a birdie, and you just might see the Hawk circling above

Hole Name Redtail Revenge

From The Tee Risk and Reward! A truly heroic hole

From The Fairway The aggressive play is to hit it down the left side flirting with the water leaving you with an iron or hybrid second shot.

On The Green Long on your approach won’t hurt you so take enough club. If unsure, lay up 70 to 100 yards short. A great chance to finish your round with a red number and another bet won
