Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee “This par 5 for the Ladies while relatively short par 5 is still a challenging hole. Good ball placement is essential with a lateral hazard all along the right side and a looming oak tree on the left. With good ball placement off of the tee, birdie is in reach.”

Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee "“This is the #1 handicap hole on the front 9.
From The Fairway An accurate tee shot must carry the fairway bunker (visible from the tee) in order to leave you in the fairway.
On The Green Too far right and you are apt to be in deep rough or behind trees. Too far left flirts with the O-B. Higher handicaps put all the trouble out of play by going to the left of the big Oak tree. The approach shot is to a very shallow green to be ideally left under the pin. The green is well bunkered both front and back. A 4 on the scorecard is a very satisfying experience.”
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Valley 3 is a challenging par 3 that appears rather straightforward from the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green Don’t be fooled as this difficult green slopes from back to front and is well protected with a front-right and large back bunkers awaiting errant shots. A poorly struck approach can easily lead to a bogey or worse.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This is the toughest hole on the Valley nine. It is long and it is narrow
From The Fairway O-B protects both sides of the hole and the player will want to be either on the right side or the left side of the fairway as a large oak tree will come into play if your shot is played from the center of the fairway.
On The Green A long iron is usually required for the second shot into the large, deep green. O-B can come into play with a shot hit long, over the green, and bunkers protect both sides. A good hole."
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway
On The Green opens up the green, leaving a short iron or wedge. Lose your tee shot to the right and a bogie or worse is nearly certain. Staying left off the tee is especially important for getting to the difficult back right pin position.”
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee This is a short, but narrow par 4 that requires an accurate play off of the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green The ideal tee shot plays to the top of the hill, or the aggressive players can try to get to the bottom for a short shot. The more aggressive you play off of the tee only brings more trees into play on the approach. While the green is elevated, it is also severely sloped from back to front making putts from above the hole treacherous.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Valley 7 is a picturesque par 3 with trees surrounding the tee and a lake guarding the front of the green.
From The Fairway The drop in elevation from the tee and swirling winds make club selection crucial. Once on the green there are many makable putts as a reward for clubbing correctly back on the tee.
On The Green Challenging downhill par 3. Water will catch any ball hit short. The afternoon breeze is generally into the player, offsetting the effect of the downhill for club selection. The smart play is to ignore an up-front pin and aim for the middle of the green! The green slopes from back to front and from right to left."
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee While this is the only par 5 (for the Men) on the Valley course, it is reachable in two for the longer hitters.
From The Fairway
On The Green For those taking on the green in two, beware of the guarding bunkers! A large two-tiered green awaits, club selection is key to being on the right level, this green rewards the accurate approach shot.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee A tough driving hole and a very difficult hole to reach in regulation for most women. Ideally, the tee shot should be right of center
From The Fairway There is a fairway bunker approximately 175 yards out on the right. There is also a lateral hazard right that can catch a lot of tee shots if you slice the ball. Even
On The Green a great tee shot may end up with an awkward lie as there is a swale in the middle of the fairway. 2nd shot is all uphill. Valley #9 has a 4-tiered green, so depending where the pin is will depend on whether you make a 4 or a double bogey."
