Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A medium length Par 4, #1 is a slight dogleg right. The shortest route to the green requires a tee shot down the right side of the fairway.
On The Green Players need to avoid bunkers on both sides of the green on their approach shots. A fun and challenging opening hole.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway #2 is a relatively short Par 4 that requires accuracy off the tee. The slight dogleg left is framed by wooded hazards on either side of the fairway at approximately 140 yards from the green.
On The Green The safest play off the tee is to hit a shot to approximately 150 yards from the green, leaving the player with a hybrid or iron shot into the generous green which slopes from back to front.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee The second longest Par 4 at O'Bannon requires an accurate tee shot. Trees on both sides of the fairway, as well as bunkers and a creek along the right side, provide challenges to golfers of all skill levels
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is average in size, but has just the right amount of slope and contour to make putting a challenge. Players are happy to move on to #4 after successfully playing #3.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee Most players will need 3 shots to reach the green on the first of three Par 5’s on the course, but long hitters may be able to go for the green in 2.
From The Fairway
On The Green The hole favors tee shots down the left side of the fairway to avoid fairway bunkers and woods on the right side. The large green is framed by mature trees on two sides and in the back, requiring an accurate approach shot.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway #5 is a deceptively challenging and pretty Par 3. The green is long, narrow, undulating and guarded by two bunkers framing the green. Miss the green on the right and the player is faced with an uphill pitch to an elevated green.
On The Green Miss on the left and you will be playing a tricky bunker shot to a narrow green that slopes away from you. And once you arrive at the green, the fun is just beginning. The green has many subtle breaks and undulations that make putting a challenge. Three is always a good score on #5.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee The longest Par 4 at O’Bannon, #6 is a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The hole doglegs to the right from the tee with a large bunker guarding the left side of the fairway and woods protecting the entire right side.
From The Fairway
On The Green An accurate and long tee shot leaves players with a long second shot to the green guarded on both sides by bunkers. The green is good sized, slopes significantly from back to front. Par is always a great score on #6, the #1 handicap hole on the course, and most players are happy with a bogey.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee #7 is a picturesque, downhill Par 3. From the white tees the hole measures 144 yards, but plays at least one club shorter due to the elevation change. The green is relatively flat, but slopes from left to right towards the creek on the right side of the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green One of our many creeks crosses in front of the green, borders the entire right side of the green and then encircles the backside as well. Bunkers come into play both left, right and in front of the green. Birdies are a real possibility bu
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway #8 is a short Par 4, dogleg right. The fairway is generous for a hole of this length. Players tee off through a shoot of mature tress which gives the illusion that the hole is extremely tight, but it's really fairly wide open! A well-placed short iron can lead to birdie on a green that slopes slightly from back to front and left to right. Just a few paces off the backside of the green you will fin
On The Green
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway #9 is a medium length Par 4, accuracy on the tee shot is a must. Players tee off from a tee surrounded on three sides by tall, mature trees, giving the feeling that one must thread the needle to end up in the middle of the fairway
On The Green Any shot hit to the left of center of the fairway, will leave the player having to hit a high approach shot over a large Ash tree. Go too far to the right, and more trees block your view of this narrow green. Bunkers guard the right side of this elevated green that is relatively flat but still has several subtle slopes and undulations.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway #10 is a Par 4 with a very slight dogleg right, which plays to a three-tiered green with a carry over a small lake. Ideally players will hit tee shots to a comfortable distance leaving a second shot between 150-100 yards. At 100 yards from the green, the fairway slopes slightly downhill to the water.
On The Green The green is framed by bunkers in front and on each side. Accuracy is a must as putting from one level to the next is treacherous. Four is usually a very good score on #10.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole #11 is a double dogleg par four, where placement of the tee shot is crucial. A lake fronts the tee box. Two ponds guard the right side of an undulating fairway with trees and a natural long-grass area protecting the left side.
From The Fairway
On The Green Any ball in the vicinity of the 150-yard markers in the fairway leaves the player a shot to a relatively large green from a fairly level lie. The green slopes from back to front and from the left to the right. It is always a challenge to par #11.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee #12 is both picturesque and challenging. The clubhouse is to the right of the two-tiered, sloping green, as is out of bounds from tee to green. There are also grass swales and bunkers near the green. The green slopes from right to left and back to front and has enough character to make putting an adventure.

Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee A safe play on this short Par 4 is to hit a tee shot to the center of the generous fairway and then hit a short iron into the green.
From The Fairway The narrow, oval- shaped green has a false-front and slopes significantly from back to front and somewhat left to right. The easiest Par 4 on the course can result in fun birdies but don’t be surprised by bogeys, depending upon where the hole is cut.
On The Green The first instinct for long-hitters when playing #13 is to pull out the driver and go for broke, but that often leads to bogey instead of birdie or par. The hole doglegs severely to the right and tall pine trees guard the green from the tee box.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee With a long and accurate tee shot, longer hitters will have a chance to go for the green in two. Most players will lay up to the bottom of the hill, short of a creek,
From The Fairway The design of Par 5 #14 uses the natural topography of the land to entice the player to go for broke and at the same time teaches the player patience. From the tee box players need to hit an accurate tee shot between groves of trees on each side of the fairway.
On The Green leaving a third shot to an elevated, two-tiered green. Depending upon where the hole is cut, players can face some very challenging putts on the undulating green. Birdies on #5 are great but pars always feel good.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee The second longest par 3 on the course, #15 can play as long as 203 yards from the back tees, uphill to a large green. Mature trees run the entire length of the hole and also circle around behind the green. Just to add fun to the hole, there are two large bunkers just off the left front and side of the green.

Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A short par 4 where mature trees on both sides of the fairway keep the player's focus on the middle of the fairway. Miss the fairway on either side and bogey is in the mix. Longer hitters will opt for a fairway wood or hybrid off the tee to keep them short of the gully at the fairway's end.
On The Green The green is generous in size with two tiers. The second tier works into a narrow neck in the back left, creating a demanding flagstick position. It's not long, but it does make you think.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A long par 5, #17 demands three quality shots from most players, if they are thinking about making par or birdie. From the tee box, the player is required to hit a tee shot over a creek and valley, into a fairly narrow, tree-lined fairway.
On The Green Second shots usually end up between 150 to 100 yards from the green, in a relatively narrow part of the fairway. The green is large, relatively flat, so a good third shot can result in a birdie putt. As with most Par 5’s, average
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The final hole at O'Bannon Creek is a demanding Par 3, and can play from as long as 221 yards. #18’s green is protected by bunkers on the right-front and entire left side, out-of-bounds behind. Landing and keeping the ball on the left-to-right sloping green from the tee box requires a good shot, and may lead to some birdies, but mostly pars. A very challenging ending hole, three is always a winnin
