From The Fairway A 502 yard dog-leg left par 5. A properly placed drive will use the two right-hand fairway bunkers 270 yards from the tee as a target.
On The Green The hole plays longer than it’s yardage as the approach is to an uphill green that rises 70 feet above the level of the fairway in the last 50 yards.
From The Fairway A beautiful 412 yard par 4 that plays from a tee that is elevated some 100 feet above the fairway.
On The Green Well positioned fairway bunkers both right and left makes tee shot placement critical. Longer hitters may clear the left-hand bunkers, however, the one guarding the right will be the resting place for those same drives if they’re hit in that direction.
From The Tee This tough 408 yard dog-leg right par 4 requires a drive down the left hand side for all but the longest hitters to avoid being blocked out on your second shot.

On The Green The fun isn’t over there, as the approach must be well placed to a small severely sloping green that is guarded well by water left and a large bunker front right.
From The Fairway With a tee shot that only needs to be placed 200 to 225 out to a wide fairway this 340 yard par 4 would seem to a birdie opportunity,
On The Green however, the approach is what adds the difficulty here. Played to a two-tiered green that is precariously perched 100 feet above the level of the fairway with trouble short left and long club selection becomes a premium with a poor choice most often leading to bogey or worse.
From The Tee The number 1 handicap hole at OGCC is this long 568 yard dog-leg left par 5. Length,

On The Green however, is not the only hurdle here as the green is wide, but very shallow and guarded well with two big bunkers on in front and a steep slope with three pot bunkers behind.
From The Tee Navigating the tee shot on this 377 yard par 4 that is downhill and dog-legs to the right is where real difficulty lies.
From The Fairway Players who cannot fade the ball may have to club down to a fairway wood or long iron as a straight drive will go through the fairway and often out of bounds.
On The Green A sloping green with large bunkers front left and front right and O.B. behind keeps you honest if you find your tee shot in the short grass.
From The Tee This 382 yard dog-leg right par 4 has an uphill approach to a very small severely sloping
From The Fairway
On The Green green that is well defended with bunkers left and short right. Even after finding yourself on the dance floor in regulation, par is no guarantee from any spot on what is likely the most difficult green on the course.
From The Tee A 220 yard par 3 may not be the most traditional way to end your nine, but it is unquestionably one of the harder ways to do it.
From The Fairway
On The Green Sure, the length in and of itself is enough of a challenge, but just hitting it far enough isn’t your only concern as once you’re there you’ll find bunkers framing the front left and right and a lake on the right hand side of the green.
From The Tee Leading off the back nine is this 530 yard par 5
From The Fairway with expertly placed bunkers on both the left and right side of the fairway to ensnare even slightly wayward drives.
On The Green If successful, a decent second shot will likely leave you with a shorter iron to yet Another signature well bunkered heavily sloped OGCC green.
From The Tee The 18 handicap hole at Oakdale is this shortish 314 yard par 4,
From The Fairway however, cleverly placed fairway bunkers right and in the middle left of the fairway make positioning the tee shot the key to a legitimate shot at a birdie.
From The Tee A downhill 175 yard par 3 with a narrow green and bunkers on the right and O.B. left.
From The Fairway
On The Green A prevailing breeze is common, which combined with the elevation will usually mean clubbing down one, but this deep can be three different clubs from front to back.
From The Tee A brutishly long 433 yard dog-leg left par 4 will be a three-shotter for many.
From The Fairway Many members will argue this to be the true #1 handicap hole with its length and out of bounds hugging the left side of the fairway for it’s entirety, but it settles in at #2 since it resides on the back nine.
From The Tee A fairly wide fairway belies the real difficulty on this 408 yard par 4.
From The Fairway
On The Green A longer second shot to another of Oakdale’s smallish severely sloping greens guarded by three well placed bunkers and the river on the right provides the true test. Par is a very good score here.
From The Tee At 145 yards, this par 3 hole may not look or sound too threatening at first glance,
From The Fairway
On The Green but the lake fronting the green and to the left is a watery grave for many a mis-struck ball. Locals tip: Do not land on the front quarter of the green if you spin the ball much as it will likely come right back down into the lake!
From The Tee You’ll need to hit a slight draw over the top of the large oak
From The Fairway tree to end up in the middle of the fairway on this 539 Yard double dog-leg par 5. The large lake running down most of the left side of the hole will intimidate even the best of golfers.
On The Green A good tee shot will entice you to go for the green in two, but the smart play is to lay up. Now that you played safe, you’ll have to test your confidence by hitting a short iron into a small green surrounded on three sides by water which will force you to think twice about going for the pin.
