From The Tee The Palms course begins with a short par four with multiple hazards off the tee. Out of bounds right and two pot bunkers just off the fairway will have you aiming left of the tee. A straight tee shot will give you a short approach to elevated and flat green.

From The Fairway This par five doglegs slightly to the left off the tee. Keeping you tee shot right will give you a good angle for your next shot down the fairway. The green slopes severely from back to front so keep your approach below the golf hole for a chance at a two putt.

From The Fairway Hole # 3 is short and straight forward par four with a few surprises up its sleeve. A lay up short of the fairway bunker is not a bad option for your tee shot. The farther down the fairway your tee shot, the more uphill your approach will be to this small and guarded green. Front left portion of the green is you best bet on your approach. Hole Name

From The Tee A long par three awaits at Hole # 4. The green is guarded by a deep bunker on the left. Hitting your tee shot to the front third of the green will be the best play. The tee shot does play slightly down hill and the prevailing wind is usually at your back. A three is always a good score here.

From The Fairway A slight dogleg right off the tee, hole # 5 is the longest par four on the Palms course. The tee shot does play down hill off the tee and the fairway slopes gently left to right. Keep your tee shot to the left side of the fairway to avoid the grove of pine trees on the right side of the fairway. Your approach will be uphill to a large flat green. From The Fairway Hole # 6 is a straightforward par four that will allow you swing with a little more effort off the tee. The fairway is wide and generous with a small bunker on the right side. A short iron will be all you will need after a good tee shot to this green. The green slopes back to front so keep your approach below the hole.

From The Tee Our Signature hole at Oakwood, this par three is beautiful and tough at the same time. Taking an extra club should be automatic to this up hill green. The front of the green is guarded by two bunkers that will be hard to get up and down out of if found off the tee. The large green is flat at the back but slopes severely downhill on the front portion. Par will feel like a birdie after this hole

From The Fairway A long par five finishes you round on the Palms course. The tee shot promotes a left to right tee shot to a wide and flat fairway. Keep your layup approach to the left side of the fairway for the best angle to this long and narrow green. For those players wanting to go for the green, missing the green short would be the safe bet. A deep bunker left of the green will give any golfer a challenge
