From The Fairway The tee shot at the starting hole on the Sonoran nine requires accuracy and length. Aim left of the deep fairway bunker on the right. This will give you a good angle for your approach shot to this wide green. There is a ridge in the middle of the green that will make a two-putt difficult.

From The Fairway The second hole is the only hole on the Sonoran course without a bunker. The fairway plays long and slightly up hill. Aim your tee shot to the left side of the fairway for an easier approach to this long green which slope right to left.

From The Tee The first of the three pars on the Sonoran nine is straight forward and beautiful. Accuracy off the tee and with club selection is crucial to this large “mushroom” shaped green. The right side will be your safe path towards par. There is a saving green side bunker left of the green that can keep your tee shot dry and out of the penalty area.

From The Fairway Measuring 430 yards from the back tees, Hole # 4 is the longest Par four on the Sonoran course. A generous fairway will allow an many options of the tee. From The Tee Hole #6 is a reachable par four from the forward tees which makes it the ultimate risk/reward golf hole on the Sonoran course. Out of bounds left and the penalty area right demands an accurate tee shot. A short approach or chip shot will give you a great look a birdie to this flat green.
