From The Tee A very scenic opening hole here at Ohope International Golf Club, a short uphill par 4, cutting through a valley to a raised green which slopes sharply back towards you.
From The Fairway
On The Green Going off the back of the green will leave you facing a very tricky shot indeed.

From The Tee A striking downhill par 3 especially in the early morning sun.
From The Fairway
On The Green Avoid the deep bunker short and right of the green to one of the flattest greens on the course.

From The Tee An attractive links hole, the fairway winding and rolling its way up the valley with dunes to the right.
From The Fairway You will be likely hitting your second shot to an elevated green with severe drop offs both right and left sides. A par here is well earned as this has to be the toughest hole on the course.

From The Tee The sweeping views of the ocean and the harbor from the elevated tee are sure to amaze you before you hit your tee shot to this long downhill par 3.
From The Fairway
On The Green The contour of the hole tilts to the left so be aware a straight shot may still end up in one of the two bunkers guarding the left side of the green.

From The Tee First of the par 5’s with the beautiful Ohiwa Harbour as a backdrop. Avoid the sand traps left and right from the tee.
From The Fairway This dogleg left hole has two more bunkers guarding the front left and right of the green. Avoid the penalty area behind the green.
On The Green A good birdie scoring opportunity, particularly with a westerly wind at your back.

From The Tee A lovely short par 4 playing alongside the harbour. Looks placid and tranquil but keep your focus here or the harbour will swallow up any wayward balls exaggerated by the prevailing wind.
From The Fairway
On The Green Awaiting is an upturned green with a large, deep pot bunker to the right so distance control and accuracy are paramount when hitting onto this green.

From The Tee This picturesque tree-lined par 4 has a parkland feel about it. After a good tee shot a careful choice needs to be made whether to take on the water hazard 50m short of the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is large and undulating so read your putt well. Never an easy hole!

From The Tee This long par 5 has an uphill tee shot but the second shot is the key.

On The Green The shot is blind but play it straight to position yourself to attack the green. Avoid the two pot bunkers guarding the front of the relatively flat green.

From The Tee A flowing, mid-length par 4 with a tilted green sloping sharply from left to right. Miss the green to the left at your peril as you then face a very slippery shot down this undulating green.

From The Tee A tee shot that gives you a clear second shot to the relatively flat green is paramount for a good score here.
From The Fairway An undulating dog leg spearing left. Be aware of the internal out of bounds left down the entire length of the fairway.

From The Fairway Two bunkers on the left-hand side of the two-tiered green and one on the right ask you to play straight.
On The Green Make sure you hit the correct tier of this green, otherwise the resulting putts could prove to be a rollercoaster!

From The Fairway A good drive is needed here to clear the first ridge to the right of the fairway.
On The Green You will then be playing your second shot into a small, partially unsighted green which is nestled into a bank which will catch any slightly overhit ball.

From The Tee This is a challenging par 3 with a long but narrow green. A steep rise just short of the green is a must to get up on with your drive to ensure a good score. Avoid being in the rough on left of the green and in the bunker on the right. The bank behind the green provides forgiveness if you do go a bit long.

From The Tee A stunning backdrop to this beautifully contoured ‘linksy’ par 5. A drive left of centre is required to take advantage of these contours.

On The Green Care to be taken when hitting into this two-tiered green as balls can collect and run into the pot bunker to the right of the green.

From The Tee The second of the back to back par 5’s, finds you turning back and playing into the into the prevailing wind.
From The Fairway This hole is right up against the dunes and features a blind second shot. Important to follow the fairway around to the right leaving a short iron into the green.
On The Green A precise shot is then needed to hit this small, slippery green with its collection area to the right.

From The Tee A classic risk and reward on this fun par 4, dogleg right. Be a hero and go for the green with your tee shot or keep left in the fairway for the safer option.

On The Green Going long here will lead to a very tricky up and down to an imposing, undulating green. It is important to putt up the slope on this green as any putt down the slope is very daunting.

From The Tee Get your camera out for the course’s beautiful signature hole with the active White Island puffing away in the foreground of the placid Pacific Ocean.
From The Fairway
On The Green A challenging par 3 over a gully and an imposing dune. Your ability to judge the wind here may just save you a shot or two.

From The Tee Again, pause for a minute or two to capture the stunning view from the tee-block and then play this dramatic hole which fronts the clubhouse on its elevated site.
From The Fairway A good tee shot is needed here to shorten the hole as much as possible to give yourself the best chance to find the tricky green.
On The Green Steep drop off left and right of this raised green will challenge your short game. A fitting way to close off a challenging yet spectacular round at Ohope International Golf Club.
