Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole requires an accurate tee shot, there is trouble both left and right. The second shot is slightly uphill to a green that slopes from left to right with two bunkers on the right and rough to the left. Missing this green makes an up and down very daunting especially
From The Fairway
On The Green if you get above the hole. Many shots that hit the green roll off into the collar making the next shot very difficult. For our gold tee members and ladies playing from the red tees, the large oak tree to the right requires a precise tee shot to achieve success on this hole.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole also requires an accurate but not long tee shot.
From The Fairway There are woods left, and trees right and depending upon pin location, selecting the proper side of the fairway to hit is critical. The green is slightly elevated and has multiple undulations and putts with lots of breaks.
On The Green A bunker short and right will certainly come into play if you come up short on this approach. Anything long of this green is nearly an impossible up and down. Get your second shot on the green and take your chances with a two putt for par.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This is the longest par 4 on the course.
From The Fairway
On The Green A drive to the right of the large cottonwood tree is best suited to hit your approach to the green which is slightly downhill. With out of bounds left, this tee shot will bring fear to all skill levels. The green slopes from front to back with a bunker gathering shots that are short and right. There is also out of bounds over the green so a precise second shot is required for success.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This slightly uphill par 3 always plays longer than you think.
From The Fairway
On The Green With a large two-tiered green, depending on the flag you must get your ball on the right plateau. When the pin is in the back anything short will roll down leaving a lengthy putt. When the pin is in the front shots that get above or to the side of the hole make for difficult putts. Take your par and run on this hole.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee A drive must be positioned to the left side of the
From The Fairway fairway to have a clear shot at the green. Wayward tee shots will result in punching out or hitting something low to play a run up shot to the green.
On The Green The green is downhill from the fairway and slopes slightly front to back. This is a scenic view from the fairway down to the river. This is a large green and can result in having a very lengthy putt. This can be a good birdie hole if you hit a good drive.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Don’t let the yardage fool you, this is a challenging hole. The drive usually with an iron or hybrid must be hit right to left.
From The Fairway
On The Green A tug to the left and you will end up in the gully out of play, a push to the right puts you in the trees and punching out. From your drive your second shot is to a small elevated green. Shots that do not find the green are a challenging up and down to say the least. A par here is a great score.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee This tee shot must be hit straight or slightly left to right. A large cottonwood tree on the right hand side comes into play off the tee. You need to navigate around that tree without going too far left and being blocked out of the hole.
From The Fairway
On The Green With a good tee shot you have a straightforward shot to a small green sloping front to back with bunkers on both sides. Hitting this green in regulation gives you a great opportunity to score well.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Although this hole is significantly downhill, it tends to play true to the yardage.
From The Fairway
On The Green Hitting this small green will most likely result in a good score. If you’re going to miss it, miss it short, trying to get up and down from either side is very challenging.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee With the river on the left most certainly in your mind for this tee shot you have a couple of options. For the long hitters, this green can be reached in two but requires two well executed shots.
From The Fairway For most players a tee shot short of or just to the left of the fairway bunker is preferred. A layup to the bottom of the hill for a shot of 100 yards or less is usually the play.
On The Green From there you are pitching to an elevated green that has a false front. Shots that do not carry this ridge will come rolling off the green to the fringe. Get your ball onto the middle of this green and you will be fine. This is a good risk/reward hole. You can make a birdie as easy as you can make a double bogey.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Another difficult tee shot,
From The Fairway woods to the left is out of bounds and pine trees line the entire right side and the fairway has a significant slope from right to left making this a difficult fairway to hit.
On The Green The second shot is to a slightly elevated large two-tiered green. With a back-pin location on the top ledge of the green, you cannot go long. For the most part if you keep the ball below the hole that is a safer play. A birdie is possible but walking away with a par here is a good start to your back nine.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee The most challenging 100 yard shot you will hit.
From The Fairway It is straightforward to a green that slopes back to front and slightly to the right. Shots that hit the right side of this green tend to fall off into the fringe or rough.
On The Green A small green, so if you hit you should score well. If you miss it, especially in one of the two greenside bunkers a bigger number will come into play.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The drive must miss the fairway bunker in the middle, avoid out of bounds left and stay out of the trees to the right.
On The Green Achieve all of that and the longer hitters have an opportunity to reach this green in two. For most, a layup down to the end of the fairway leaving less than 100 yards in to the elevated green is the play. This green has two parts to it, the left side which slopes from right to left then the right side which slopes from left to right make hitting this green and keeping it on the green a challenge.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee Must keep your drive middle to right hand side on this hole. Anything left will bounce left and be blocked out.
From The Fairway The fairway slopes from right to left. From here an accurate second shot to a downhill green is required. There is a pond short and right and a steep embankment behind this green, making up and downs difficult.
On The Green The green slopes from front to back and has a slight slope on the left side causing balls to roll off the green to that side. Aim for the middle of the green here, take your two putts and move on.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee This is a great golf hole. A right to left tee shot is preferable to bend around this slight dogleg.
From The Fairway Trees line both right and left side of this fairway and it’s a small narrow fairway. From here you are hitting your shot to a small elevated green that has recently been made flatter.
On The Green The hills in front and to the side of this green make chipping difficult. A four here is a good score, take it and move on.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee A tee tucked back in the woods, a tee shot coming out of the tunnel must avoid trees left and right. Once you get through the opening the hole opens up quite a bit.
From The Fairway
On The Green The second shot is to an uphill small green is usually played with an uphill lie. This makes this shot more challenging. There is a false front on this green and shots that just land on, most often will come off the green. You must carry the ridge over the false front to have good putt. A birdie opportunity for sure with a clean tee shot.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Depending on the wind and the hole location this hole can play two to three clubs different.
From The Fairway
On The Green This shot to a downhill green is fairly flat requires some skill. A bunker to the right and woods to the left gives every player something to think about it off the tee. Hitting this small green however opens up a great scoring opportunity.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The tee shot is uphill to the fairway and is fairly open for most players. For the longer players, the thought of going left into the woods enters their mind. The fairway slopes right to left making it even more challenging to hit this fairway. From there it’s a choice, lay it up or go for it. If you go for it, you must avoid the bunkers on both right and left sides.
On The Green The green slopes right to left so the right center of the green is the line you want to take. Another risk/reward hole. Birdies can fly as easy as double bogeys on this hole.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The fairway slopes significantly from right to left, there is one flat area on the right side if you can hit it long enough. Trees line the right side and there is woods to the left. This tee shot is difficult. If you are able to get in on the fairway, you will most like be hitting from a side hill lie. Aim right, short left is a bunker and there is little room if you go long. This is a challengin
