Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee is a short par 5 that will set the tone for the entire round. Like all the holes on this golf course, straight shots will give you a great birdie opportunity while off-line shots will leave you scrambling for par. The landing area from the tee is guarded by two small water hazards. If you opt to play short of them you can't get home in two.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is guarded by trees on the right and water just off the left edge. With two straight, long shots you'll be putting for eagle.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee is a par 3 over water that will play shorter because it's more downhill than it looks.
From The Fairway
On The Green A bunker will gO-Bble up short right shots. If the pin is in the back, anything over the green will be a bogey.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee is a dogleg right par 4 with an uphill tee shot that is demanding.
From The Fairway Long hitters can go through the fairway into trees, but a high fade over the fairway bunker can leave you with only a short iron into the green.
On The Green Tee shots to the right will find trees and bogeys. The green is severe and so fast breaking away from the mountain that you'll have to lag from inside 10 feet if you have a sidehill or downhill putt.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee is a narrow par 5 where, once again, 2 straight shots will give you a great birdie opportunity. Crooked shots here will make big numbers. The tee shot area is guarded by trees left and water and O-B right. Big hitters can get home in two, but there is O-B twenty feet left, right, and over the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green Two bunkers guard the front of the green, left and right. In between the tee shot and the green, there are ponds both left and right as well as O-B. The work isn't over once you're on the green either, as this green yields very few one putts.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee is a par 4 that is not very long, but the tee shot must be played over scrub oak trees,
From The Fairway plus there is O-B on both sides of the fairway.
On The Green The approach shot is over a pond but generally played with a short iron if you've hit a good tee shot. The tee shot means everything here.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee is the shortest (plus it plays downhill) par 4 on this nine, but it is the #1 handicap hole. The severe dogleg left hole requires a tee shot between 200-225 yards down the middle.
From The Fairway If you are short of 200 yards, you can't see the green and have to hit over large pine trees. Over 225 yards you'll go through the fairway into trees or O-B.
On The Green Tee shots to the right will prO-Bably be O-B. The approach shot is over a pond to a shallow but wide green with three sections. Not many players are able to 2 putt from the wrong section. Over the green is O-B, left or short of the green is in the water. A straight 200 yard tee shot and a straight 140 yard approach is an easy par. Any crooked shot can lead to big numbers.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee is one of the easiest holes on the course.
From The Fairway This par 4 has a gentle dogleg to the left with a generous fairway.
On The Green Only seriously off-line shots will be in trouble here. The green is large and is guarded by a stream to the right. This green actually breaks towards the mountain.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee is a difficult, long, uphill par 3.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is guarded on both sides by bunkers and trees, and it is difficult to putt. You must fly it onto the green, as it won't bounce due to the uphill slope. Use more club here than it looks like.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee is a downhill, dogleg to the right par 4.
From The Fairway Bunkers guard the fairway and trees and a miss-hit right might even find a little, hidden water hazard that is short of the bunker.
On The Green The green is guarded left by a bunker. Long putts on this green will prO-Bably mean a 3 putt, so borderline shots will prO-Bably add up to a bogey
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee is a short, uphill dogleg left par 4. Long hitters can nearly drive the green for an easy birdie, but a shot 50 feet right of the green will be O-B.
From The Fairway The fairway is guarded by O-B on the right, trees on both sides, and a small lateral hazard on the left.
On The Green The green is guarded by bunkers short left and greenside right. Any ball 15 feet over the green is O-B. The front half of this green is difficult to putt.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee is a short, narrow, downhill par 4 that just begs you to hit driver for the easy chip shot birdie.
From The Fairway However, this is the narrowest fairway on the golf course and is guarded on both sides with large trees and a lateral hazard on the left.
On The Green The green is built in such a way as to make it nearly impossible to save par if you miss it, especially if you miss it short and are in the gully.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee is a slightly uphill par 4. There is O-B right on the tee shot for long hitters,
From The Fairway and trees on both sides of the fairway all the way to the green. The green is guarded on both sides short by ponds. Over the green 20 feet is O-B,
On The Green and in between the green and the O-B you'll have a downhill chip out of long grass to a green that slopes away from you. You can make big numbers if you miss this green short or long.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee is a fairly short par 3 over water.
From The Fairway
On The Green Two bunkers guard the green in front and to the right of the green. Large pine trees punish left and long shots. Pin placements on the right half of this green make for a difficult par.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee is the hardest par 4 on this nine. The tee shot is over water with O-B right, and trees line both sides of this hole.
From The Fairway The approach shot plays long as you are hitting to a green up a steep hill. Lilac bushes guard both sides of this green. Once you're on the green, the real work begins.
On The Green Very few people are able to two putt this green. The slope away from the mountain and down the hill is considerably greater than your eyes tell you. Four putts are not all that uncommon here.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee is a downhill par 4 that turns slightly left.
From The Fairway Trees line both sides of this hole all the way to the green. Long hitters can drive through the fairway unless they hit a draw.
On The Green The green is guarded by bunkers on both sides and long. Pin placements in the back of the green on either side make this a tough hole to birdie.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee is an uphill par 5 that doglegs left. Long hitters can reach this in 2 shots.
From The Fairway Trees line both sides of the hole all the way to and past the green. A tee shot to the left half of this fairway will find trees blocking the second shot to the green.
On The Green The right half of this fairway is ideal, but there is also O-B if you stray too far right. The green is guarded on both sides by bunkers. Two long, straight shots make for an easy birdie, but a crooked shot will force you to scramble for par.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee is a difficult and long, downhill par 3. 20 feet right of the green is O-B, so you can make big numbers on this hole.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is guarded on both sides and long by bunkers. This green is difficult to putt and difficult to hit.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee is a gambler's delight! This downhill par 5 is reachable in two shots for long hitters, but danger lurks on every shot.
From The Fairway Two fairway bunkers force a very accurate tee shot for the long hitters, but they don't come into play for the average player.
On The Green The green is huge, but if you're short, left, or long you will be in the lake. Bunkers, trees, or a creek are to the right of the green. You can play this hole safely by laying up short of the lake with your second shot and hitting a wedge onto the green.
