From The Tee The opening hole at PCC eases the golfer into their round. A well placed tee shot requires a slight draw of the tee to avoid the tree line to the right.
From The Fairway A tee shot of 260 yards will carry the fairway bunker on the left leaving a short iron to a green that slopes from back to front.
On The Green Experienced members at PCC know to leave your approach below the pin.
From The Tee This long Par 4 requires an accurate tee shot to avoid the out of bounds stakes and fairway bunker on the left side of the fairway.
From The Fairway The tendency for most golfers is to favor the right side and let the slope of the fairway carry it back to the middle leaving a second shot of 180 - 200 yards to a 2 tiered green that slopes from back to front.
From The Tee The uphill par 4 3rd hole is your first real birdie opportunity but requires a well placed tee shot out of the shoot of trees.
From The Fairway While the fairway is generous in its width, out of bounds and overhanging trees guard the left side and 100 year old oaks line the right side.
From The Tee The first par 3 of the course plays anywhere from 165 – 190 yards depending which of the 5 sets of tees are used and the position of the flag.
From The Fairway The recommended tee shot favors the left side of the green regardless of pin position.
On The Green Bunkers left and right make for a very difficult up and down. 3 is always a good score on this devilish par 3.
From The Tee Aim for the middle of the green, make your 4, and don’t look back.
From The Fairway Depending on the location of the pin even the best putters need to be cautious of the dreaded 3 putt.
On The Green The sixth is a dead straight away long par 4. A good drive will typically leave a mid iron to this 2 tiered green. Once on the green your work is just beginning.
From The Tee The only par 5 on the course awaits the big hitters. Measuring at 530 yards this hole is reachable in 2 for the big hitters but typically only when it plays downwind.
From The Fairway Most attack the hole as it was designed, in 3 shots. After a good drive, the strategic play is to layup to 100 – 120 yards or to your most comfortable short iron distance.
From The Tee The most difficult hole on the course closes out the front nine. The 446 yard hole is a slight dogleg to the right.
From The Fairway Even a good drive will leave a low to mid iron into one of the most difficult putting surfaces on the course. A four on 9 is always a good score.
From The Tee To go or not to go! That is the decision the big hitter must make.
From The Fairway A long iron or hybrid is all that is needed to leave a short iron or wedge to this elevated green.
On The Green At 280 yards with out of bounds down the entire right side of the hole, this well guarded green offers a slight breather and is a definite birdie opportunity.
From The Fairway Very rarely does one find a flat putt on this sloping green. Take note of the hole location before teeing off.
On The Green The first par 3 on the back measures in at 176 yards. Although not easily apparent the hole plays slightly uphill to a green guarded by bunkers on the left and right.
From The Fairway Another good birdie opportunity…provided you drive it in the fairway and leave your approach below the hole.
On The Green A good drive will leave a mid to short iron approach to a severely sloped back to front green that is typically the “fastest green on the course”. Always better to be short than long on the 14th!

From The Fairway Its subtle breaks defy visual appearance and often leave the best and most experienced PCC putters shaking their heads walking off the green.
On The Green The shortest and last of the par 3’s. At only 150 yards, what the 15th lacks in length it makes up for on its green.
From The Tee Take note of the pin position on the tee box and try and favor the opposite side of the fairway with your tee ball for the best angle of approach.

On The Green The 17th is a straight away 420 yard par 4. A good drive on this long par 4 will still require a mid to long iron approach to a green that is distinguished by its “dead elephant” buried in the middle.
