From The Tee The hole is a sharp dogleg left past the corner of the tennis courts to a slightly elevated green set against the hill.

From The Fairway

On The Green The tee shot calls for a draw around the courts leaving a mid to long iron to the green. The 2nd shot will play longer than the yardage due to the elevation and prevailing wind. Shorter hitters will hit their 2nd shots below the green for an easy pitch to the green.Favor the left side of the green on the 2nd or 3rd shot to avoid the slope to the right.

From The Tee The tee shot should be aimed at the right center of the

From The Fairway fairway in order to avoid the tennis courts.The fairway also slopes right to left.A good tee shot should get you to the flat area below the hill for a mid to long iron to the green. The 2nd shot is slightly uphill over a large bunker that is 10 yards short of the green

On The Green Take plenty of club to carry this difficult bunker. If you are not sure of carrying the bunker, choose a club to keep you short for an easy pitch to the green.

From The Fairway Aim your tee shot to the left center of the fairway to avoid the left to right slope over the hill.

On The Green A good tee shot should reach the bottom of the hill for a left to right dogleg 2nd shot. Aim at the directional bunker below the 4th tee and fade the shot slightly from left to right. Be sure to keep your 2nd or 3rd shot short of this bunker.The 3rd shot is slightly uphill and requires at least 1 extra club. Aim the 3rd shot to the left side of the green which slopes left to right.

From The Tee This hole usually plays to the yardage with the best shot

From The Fairway

On The Green being played at the right corner of the green because of the severe right to left slope and the prevailing wind.Take plenty of club to avoid the 2 bunkers short of the green on both sides. A missed tee shot will leave the player with a very difficult blind 2nd shot from the swale.

From The Tee A very picturesque and difficult par 4 measuring 461 yards.

From The Fairway The first half of the hole is downhill and the tee shot should be aimed at the center of the fairway.

On The Green Avoid going right,as the fences are O-B the entire length of the hole. A good tee shot will leave a wood to long iron from a slightly downhill lie. Aim the 2nd shot at the left center of the green as the fairway slopes slightly to the right.Shorter hitters will have an easy pitch to a level green.

From The Fairway The tee shot should be aimed at the center of this fairway to avoid the many fairway bunkers at the left corner of the dogleg.

On The Green Shorter hitters should aim slightly right of center. A good tee shot should leave an uphill 2nd shot to the left center of the green and take plenty of club to carry the false front of the green.

From The Tee The hole is slightly downhill and is well bunkered on both sides and back of the green.

From The Fairway

On The Green The hole slopes slightly from right to left so the tee shot should be aimed at the right corner of the green.The hole will play to the yardage but watch for the prevailing wind which is usually in your face and can add 1 to 2 clubs. Take plenty of club to carry the 2 bunkers.

Hole Name

From The Tee This hole is uphill and usually plays into the wind so it plays longer than the yardage by 1 or 2 clubs.

From The Fairway Longer hitters on a calm day may hit a long iron or 3 wood off the tee as a large bunker on the left side of the fairway requires a 210 yard carry.

On The Green The 2nd shot plays 1 to 2 clubs longer due to the severe uphill approach. Take plenty of club to avoid the sharp rise in front of the green which can bring a shot at the front of the green back down the fairway.

Hole Name

From The Tee This hole plays shorter than the yardage because of the downhill.

From The Fairway The drive should be aimed at the left center of the fairway as it slopes from left to right.

On The Green 2nd shots with a mid to long iron should be carried to the front edge of the green as balls on this hole have a tendency to roll forward. The 2 bunkers short of the green are some 50 yards out and are to be avoided because of the severity of that bunker shot.

From The Fairway A good tee shot aimed at the middle of the fairway to avoid the O-B left and the traps on the right will reach the top of the crown of the hill.

On The Green A 200 plus yard 2nd shot to an undulating green remains. Avoid the bunker to the short right of the green.Shorter hitters will hit 2nd shots from an uphill lie to an open fairway short of the green leaving an easy pitch shot.

From The Fairway Aim the tee shot at the bunker on the left side of the fairway which is out of play except for very long hitters.

On The Green The 2nd shot should be aimed at the left center of the fairway, as the slope to the right over the hill will cause balls to roll into the rough.An uphill 3rd shot should be played with an extra club to avoid hitting the false front of the green and rolling back down the fairway.The prevailing wind is usually in your face and can add 1 to 2 extra clubs.

Hole Name

From The Tee A difficult par 3 plays at least 2 clubs longer than the yardage because of the severe uphill and prevailing wind in your face.

From The Fairway

On The Green The bunker to the left of the green extends back further than appears, so aim the tee shot to the center of the green. This green has 2 levels so be aware of pin position which could add an additional club.

Hole Name

From The Tee A very picturesque hole usually plays shorter because of the downhill and prevailing wind.

From The Fairway Aim the drive right center to avoid the bunkers lining the left side of the hole and because the fairway slopes right to left.

On The Green A good drive of at least 200 yards leaves a downhill 2nd shot to a well-bunkered green. The 2nd shot usually plays at least 2 clubs shorter depending on wind which is usually at your back.

From The Tee Plays longer than the distance due to the uphill nature of the hole and the prevailing wind against you.

From The Fairway Keep the drive straight between the tree line. The 2nd shot plays at least 2 to 3 clubs longer. The green is situated between two mounds visible from the fairway.

On The Green A double level green with a false front makes the 2nd shot at least 1 extra club longer.

Hole Name

From The Tee The signature hole at Peninsula plays slightly downhill and on a calm day plays 1 club shorter but the prevailing wind into you could add 2 clubs or more to the shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green Aim to the right center of the green as it slopes right to left.

Hole 16

From The Tee This hole usually plays shorter than the distance due to the downhill and prevailing wind at your back.

From The Fairway Aim the tee shot at the center of the fairway as there are bunkers to the left and a severe slope to the right of the fairway.

On The Green A good drive to the top of the fairway or longer leaves you with a downhill 2nd shot that is usually 2 clubs shorter than the distance. The prevailing wind at your back may dictate an additional club shorter.

From The Fairway Aim the tee shot to the left center of the fairway as the fairway slopes left to right.

On The Green Longer hitters may hit a 3 wood or long iron off the tee to play short of the 2 fairway bunkers on both sides of the fairway which are approximately 220 yards off the tee.The green is very wide but not too deep. The 2nd shot is slightly uphill so take a little extra club to avoid the front bunker. The green slopes left to right so aim shots left of the pin.

From The Fairway Your drive should be aimed at the right edge of the fairway as the fairway slopes right to left.The fairway bunker is 230 yards from the tee.

On The Green A good drive and a strong 2nd shot can reach the top of the slope left of the bunker leaving a short uphill 3rd shot to the green. Hit the 3rd shot slightly more than the yardage to avoid the false front of the green. Avoid the right bunker 10 yards short of the green.
