On The Green which slopes away and towards the canal crossing in front. Aim your approach shot just left of or over "Gibraltar," the tall boulder protecting the front of the green. A shot to the middle of the green is always a solid play here regardless of the pin location.

From The Fairway Take half a club less and play it smart here. Once on the putting surface take a second look at the break, noting everything breaks more than you think towards the canal.

From The Fairway at the two fairway bunkers in the distance

On The Green Use the same line on your second shot, avoiding the network of mounds and bunkers up the right hand side. From here take dead aim with a short wedge to a large green. An excellent birdie opportunity.

From The Fairway A generous fairway off the tee sets you up for an exacting approach shot to a narrow green.

On The Green Miss the two-tiered green to the right and face a challenging, blind chip back up to the putting surface. Miss to the left and a large, deep bunker that slopes from back to front awaits.

From The Tee This one "Looks So Easy," but trouble awaits the wayward tee shot

From The Fairway Note the distance off the tee and aim your tee shot just inside the palm trees on the right side of the fairway.

On The Green Balls landing anywhere near the left side will surely find the lake. Be sure to take an extra club on your approach to this elevated green, and steer clear of the danger left. Another hole where the center of the green is a smart play to any pin location.

From The Tee A wide open look at a simple par three hole that plays slightly downhill. Missing anywhere but long will leave you a most challenging bunker shot.

Hole 8

Hole Name

From The Tee A reachable par five in two for big hitters, however your tee shot must find the short stuff to have any chance at all of getting there.

From The Fairway Favor the left side of the fairway here, as a split lake looms just over the bunkers on the right. A well-struck second shot can easily reach

On The Green the green setting up an eagle opportunity, but beware the water hazard that cuts just in front of the right edge of the green. Consider laying up and using your scoring wedge for a birdie opportunity.

From The Tee A tee shot down the middle of the fairway is crucial here,

From The Fairway

On The Green setting up a good look down the hill at a green that is well protected by several large bunkers. Avoid the lower right side or risk being blocked out on your approach. The green sits below the lake that protects its left side, and slopes away from it from back to front and left to right.

From The Fairway The deep bunker down the center of the fairway forces a firm decision whether to play to the left or right fairways.

On The Green The right side requires a greater carry off the tee, but rewards you with an open shot to the slightly sloping, back-to-front green. The left side is a safer shot but requires an accurate approach shot over the deep green-side bunker, putting a premium on distance control.

On The Green Bunkers guard the front and back of this long, narrow green. The safe shot is short and right, leaving a straight-forward chip up the hill and a chance for an up-and-down par.

From The Fairway behind which the fairway opens up and will leave you with the best angle to the green

On The Green Pull your tee shot left and you’ll be faced with a challenging, blind second shot over yet another mound, to a green with collection areas and bunkers protecting all sides. Miss the putting surface here and you’ll be faced with a very difficult up-and-down.

From The Fairway

On The Green Hit your drive left of the bunkering all the way down the right side, but keep it short of the lake. Then decide just how much of the lake to cut off on your second shot. The green is severely tiered, so make sure you land your approach shot on the right level to avoid the chance of three putting.

From The Tee One of the shortest par fours on course is the fourth hardest hole on course for good reason

On The Green Look at the distance and choose your club wisely off the tee. A straight tee shot that finds the fairway sets up a second shot to a narrow green that makes or breaks you on this hole. Miss right and water awaits. Miss to the left and you’ll find bunkers that will add stress to any shot.
