From The Fairway Often plays directly into the prevailing south wind. Favor the left side of the fairway. A chance for a good start

On The Green Plays slightly uphill to a relatively flat green

From The Tee Not the hole you want to have to play second

From The Fairway Entire carry over water with left the only bail-out. Even from there, though, an up and down is tough

On The Green If you walk away with par, you usually pick up at least one on the field.

From The Fairway This hole bends gently left with a green that sits at an angle to the fairway

On The Green Green opens up better from the right side of the fairway. Look over your putt carefully. PrO-Bably more downhill or breaking than you realize

Hole 4

Hole Name

From The Tee 90* dogleg left with a blind tee shot.

From The Fairway .Come as close to the corner as you wish, but O-B is on the left and fairway traps wait for you straight through the fairway

On The Green een slopes severely from back to front with a good amount of slope from right to left. Another approach that must be below the hole

From The Tee Longest par 4 from the Gold

From The Fairway Avoid right on your drive to stay away from the Pine trees. Partially blind 2nd shot usually plays into the wind.

On The Green Relatively small green, guarded by grass mounds. The “long time players” tell you to play one less club on your appoach due to the downhill fronting the green

From The Tee Even the short hitters have a chance to reach this green in 2 due to its downhill and with the wind approach

From The Fairway Well guarded by bunkers, for those that want to fly it on.

On The Green A big green for a par 5, but it sits at an angle to your approach. Generous slope from back to front, but a realistic chance for a birdie

Hole 7

Hole Name

From The Tee Trouble lurks everywhere on this hole.

From The Fairway Play it safe and it doglegs left, leaving you a longer club in. Trying to “cut the corner” brings into play O-B ,

On The Green Pine trees, the no-mow, and the pond. Large green that slopes severely from back to front. As many big’s are made on this hole as any on the course.

Hole Name

From The Tee Pick the right club, as this hole usually plays into the wind

From The Fairway Green is a generous size, but a lot of different slopes await you once you are on

On The Green A miss short or left of this green still gives you a chance for par

Hole 9

Hole Name

From The Tee The longest of the par 4’s from the white tees.

From The Fairway Usually plays downwind, so this helps some. Very flat green sits there with nothing protectiving it.

On The Green But, with the approach club you are hitting, it is tough to make the ball stay on this green. A good “press” hole to end the front nine.

From The Tee Drive usually laid up short of the river.

From The Fairway Too far back, however, leaves an uphill, medium iron to an extremely sloped green

On The Green Once you are on this green, your work is just starting. Small driving area and severely sloping green makes this our 2nd toughest on the back nine

From The Tee A semi short par 4 with the smallest green on the course

From The Fairway Elevated a lot which makes for a tough up and down

On The Green The fairly flat green does give you a birdie chance here, if you can hit the green

Hole 12

From The Tee Highway 27 on your left and the river to cross on you second shot.

From The Fairway

On The Green After that, usually a short iron into this extremely sloping back to front green. A chance for birdie if you keep your approach under the hole

From The Tee Slightly downhill, with a medium or short iron to a narrow target

From The Fairway

On The Green A two level green can make for a fun experience on this green. Bail out is to the right.

Hole 14

Hole Name

From The Tee Longest hole on the course, but does not usually play that difficult, as you can see by its handicap rating

From The Fairway Doglegs slightly to the right and a little downhill.

On The Green Grass mounds protect this very large green. Par is often made with a good chance for birdie awaiting

Hole 15

Hole Name

From The Tee Longest par 3 from the Gold. Down hill, but often plays into the wind.

From The Fairway

On The Green This large green is well protected with grass bunkers, sand traps, Pine trees and the no-mow. Once again, you will find more slope to judge than first meets your eye

Hole 16

Hole Name

From The Tee The long hitters can clear the creek, leaving them just a short iron.

From The Fairway Most have to lay up, leading to a longer iron or hybrid

On The Green The green is a generous size, but there are may differing slopes on and around this green. Tough to make par for most

Hole 17

Hole Name

From The Tee Slightly downhill and usually downwind

From The Fairway Keep it short or left of the pond, but avoid the no-mow on the left.

On The Green On your 2nd shot, you must hit enough club to clear the creek, but the slope on this green calls for you to keep your approach below the hole

Hole 18

Hole Name

From The Tee Unusual to end with a par 3, but it makes for some interesting finishes

From The Fairway Creek runs along the left, the river hazard is to the right

On The Green A hole where distance control is very crucial. A lot of bets won or lost on this hole.
