Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole #1 is a slight dogleg up the hill to the left. There is plenty of room to the right to aim and with a severe bunker about 240 off the tee and O-B left, play it safe and aim a little more right than you think to need to. As with many Donald Ross courses, an approach shot left short of the green will leave you in a better position than long.

Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This straight away par 4 from the elevated tee allows for a confidence boosting tee shot, but be careful to make the proper club selection and avoid the bunker cutting across this fairway. Club selection off the tee is key to scoring well on this hole!

Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Hole #3 is one of the most challanging holes on the scorecard, but to make this hole play a little easier, be sure to favor the left side of the fairway. A miss to the right will leave you a much longer approach shot and make carrying the cross bunker in the approach much more difficult. Regardless of your tee shot postion, be sure to avoid the cross bunker and lay-up to it if you're not condifent

Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway From the hardest par 4 to the easiest par 4 on the course! The fairway slopes from right to left, so favor the right side of the hole and let your ball funnel back to the middle. This short, scorable par 4 is ready for birdies!

Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway A driver may not be required off the tee and you'll want to make sure you don't run out of fairway. As you play your second shot to this elevated green, be sure to avoid the large quarry bunker just short and be conscious of the false front on this green.

Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee This long par 3 is one of four challanging short holes on the course. This entire green funnels from right to left, so if the smart play is to err to the right and let the ball release to the left.

Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The first par 5 on the course has O-B down the right the entire way, so playing down the left side is the smart play off the tee. The second shot will be challenged by a large cross bunker, requiring a well played shot for those looking to attack this green in two. Better scores will always come from short and right of this green.

Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee The 8th is a risk/reward hole and the longest players can attempt get as close as possble to the green, maybe even drive it! The smart play is laying back with something less than driver off the tee and leaving yourself a comfortable distance for your second shot.

Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway Tee it high and let it fly! This par 5 is reachable in two for the bombers, but will require a couple of well played shots to hit the green in regulation for the masses. After the tee shot, you will be faced with the decision to go for it or lay up. A cross bunker runs across the entire faiway and will grab any shots played along the ground. A lay-up will leave you with a short iron into this well

Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee The 10th hole plays long, especially if you're tee shot isn't able to carry to the top of the hill. This green runs quickly from front to back and to give yourself a better chance at holding the green, aim for the front edge. Carrying you approach to the middle of the green will almost always have it running off the back.

Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The next of the challanging par 3s, the 11th is right in front of you. Commit to your shot and make a great swing. If you're looking for the bailout, aim for the bunker left to give yourself the best chance at an up and down.

Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee The 12th was the original finishing hole before the new clubhouse was built in the late 1950s. A long tee shot will give you the best opportunity to score here. The green is severely sloped from back to front, and long of the green is almost always a recipe for disaster. Play your approach short of the flag to make sure you leave yourself an uphill putt.

Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway You'll want to favor the right side of the fairway off the tee to be sure to avoid the large tree that protects the left side. Shots down the left side of the hole will require some creativity to hit the green and make scoring much more difficulty. 13 is another hole where the green runs quickly from front to back and you'll want to make sure you land your approach shot well short of the flag.
On The Green
Hole 14

Hole 15

From The Tee Be sure to put the ball on the proper side of this dogleg right off the tee. The hole plays about one extra club when playing the approach into the green and the green runs from right to left once the ball is on the ground.

Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee While it can be tempting to hit attack this green, the safe play is to play for the middle of the green and try to make a two putt par. This short par 3 is well protected and missing the green is extremely penal. When the pin is on the top of the two tiered green, be sure not to go long, as it will almost always result in a bogey (or worse).

Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee Bite off as much as you can chew off the tee on this par 5! Be cautious of the fescue grass that protects the inside of the dogleg, but a long drive over the two corner bunkers will leave you a mid-iron into the green and a great chance at eagle!

From The Tee
From The Fairway The home hole at RCC is an incredible finishing hole. While driver is not required off the tee, leaving yourself a short approach shot into the green will almost always give you a better chance to score. Long hitters will need to be cautious of the fairway bunker down the right side the sneaks out into the fairway. Be cautious with club selection as it is easy to hit your approach long here!
