From The Fairway A dogleg left fairway. If you can draw the ball off the tee, this is the play for you. To do so should leave you with a mid to short iron to a very demanding and firm green, well protected by bunkers in front and either side. The right greenside bunker is deep. Cut the ball off the tee (right handers) and you could finish up in the GUR sand pit at the 150 metre mark.

There are no bunkers on this straight and flat fairway, but the green has tricky undulations to negotiate. From The Fairway Possibly the most underrated hole on the course. The fairway has a slight dogleg to the right at 190 metres, causing many to try to carry the dogleg leaving a short but tricky second shot to another tricky, undulating green. The tendency is to come up short however, a shot too strong will leave you in deep rough behind the green. There are no bunkers on this hole.

Generally, this hole plays straight into the prevailing wind and club selection will be based on wind strength. A well struck draw off the tee is preferred, which, if it catches the downslope at the 200m mark, could leave you with a long to midiron to a tricky uphill sloping green.
