Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The first hole is all down hill, especially from about 150 out.
From The Fairway A shot off center can get you in trouble both right and left by placing you behind a row of trees on either side of the fairway.
On The Green Place your second shot off to the right and you'll find yourself chipping over a green side bunker. If you should go left and long with your second shot you'll have a chip over another green side bunker.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Don't pull your shot here, the line of trees on the left guard this slight dogleg left.
From The Fairway Go too far right with a slice and again a large tree could come into play. Your second shot needs to be centered
On The Green because a large deep greenside bunker guards the front of this green. Any shot to the right could bounce off the high bank and finish in the trees to the right.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This par 3 will test your skills. Hit it short and you could find yourself in a rock lined stream.
From The Fairway Hit it left and out of bounds is awaiting you, to the right and trees will assure you of fabricating a shot to the green.
On The Green Several bunkers often come in to play for other off line shots. There is water to the right but it doesn't come into play, unless you hit it really, really bad.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A par 4, dogleg left that will test your skills.
From The Fairway From the tees you're hitting out from between the trees and you'll feel a little closed in, don't hook the ball or you'll be playing a provisional because that group of trees down the left grabs a lot of balls.
On The Green To the right it seems a little more open but those pines can be trouble. A shot down the middle and a second shot to the green will get you the par you're looking for or maybe a putt for that birdie.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee A par 5 with a slight dogleg right that can be reached in two if the tees are up and you hit two shots really well.
From The Fairway Those trees on the right come into play as do the trees on the left. Several fairway bunkers may also cause you a stroke or two if you don't hit it straight.
On The Green
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Straight away par 4. Lots of room here and it can be an easy hole.
From The Fairway It takes a big hook or a big slice to get into trouble in the trees. However too far right and the trees by the green could hinder a shot to the pin if it's tucked to the right. The fairway bunker on the left will catch that average tee shot if you pull the ball.
On The Green It takes a big hook or a big slice to get into trouble in the trees. However too far right and the trees by the green could hinder a shot to the pin if it's tucked to the right. The fairway bunker on the left will catch that average tee shot if you pull the ball.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee Slight up hill par 3 that plays longer than it looks.
From The Fairway You won't be able to see the green or the three bunkers that surround it. There are trees on each side of the fairway but they shouldn't come into play.
On The Green If you miss the green, the rough to the sides and the back can make it difficult to make par.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 8 is a long par 4. A shot off to the right could cause
From The Fairway
On The Green a lot of trouble because of the trees. If you do have a shot from here the green side bunker to the right front will come into play and the green is difficult to hold. The best shot is left side fairway.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 9 is a long par 5. Slightly up hill to this hole with the
From The Fairway fairway slanting hard right. A slice could end up in a line of trees or even below them,
On The Green making it difficult to shoot at the green with any shot. there are also trees on the left side and from 150 yards in could save you from hitting a shot into the parking lot. Secret here, keep it centered.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 10 is the beginning of why we call our course, Shade Mountain.
From The Fairway The green is reachable for everyone with a second shot but if you hook or slice you'll be playing in the shade of lots of trees.
On The Green The 10 hole is straight ahead slightly uphill. The green is protected by two green side bunkers, one to either side. If your ball does go into the trees 'woods', not only will the trees come into play but also lots of mountain stones.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole 11 is a long par 5 over water and a little up hill the first 200 yards.
From The Fairway The fairway is narrow and any ball hit with a fade to the right will most likely end up in the woods because of the slant of the fairway.
On The Green Try to keep your second shot to the right side of the fairway because a greenside bunker guards the left front. Hit your third shot over the green and again the woods will make the shot back difficult.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee This par 3 is all down hill with lots of trouble all around.
From The Fairway
On The Green Miss the green too far left and you'll have an almost impossible up and down because of trees and sand. Too far off to the right and the trees will cause prO-Blems as well as a run that runs along the tree line.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 4, dogleg left with lots of trouble if you don't hit it straight.
From The Fairway A driver here is not necessary, but if you do hit it with a little draw you can get close to the green but you'd better keep it out of the trees.
On The Green Both left and right are trouble and will make par difficult and a provisional tee ball could be necessary. A small stream across the fairway also could come into play if you don't get the ball up or if you don't get it all. Hit you're second shot long and again, lots of trouble with trees.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 4, dogleg left with trees everywhere.
From The Fairway When you go back to the tees from the 13th green it won't take you long to realize how difficult this hole will be.
On The Green The corner of trees on the left can block your second shot if you don't keep it in the center or to the right. This hole is all up hill and plays even longer than it looks and the green is well protected with font side bunkers.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 4, straight ahead, down the hill then back up and over some water,
From The Fairway onto a green that's hard to hold. The number one handicap hole on the course and you'll see why.
On The Green Again trees on both sides and to the back of the green. A shot over the green could be hard to hold coming back, so be careful. A par here is a good score.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 5, slight dogleg right the last 100 yards. Up the hill then a little to the right.
From The Fairway Just off the tee there's a little run but it shouldn't come into play. If you slice it you may
On The Green end up in the driving range and finding your ball could be a difficult task. A good hole for that birdie you've been looking for.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 3, straight away, but protected by a greenside bunker in front and one to the right.
From The Fairway If you want another birdie, better get it here, eighteen plays long for a par 4.
On The Green
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee Par 4 and very difficult. It'll take you two really good shots to get home.
From The Fairway
On The Green Most people find themselves laying up just short of the stream that's about 80 yard from the green. Be careful because the greenside bunker in front is a deep and difficult play.
