From The Tee Hole 1 is a mid-length 4 that is a nice starting hole but not extremely difficult
From The Fairway Most would agree, it’s one of the easiest holes on the course.The fairway is fairly narrow and the green is nestled behind two medium sized bunkers.
On The Green

Hole Name
From The Tee The second hole is a slight dog-leg right and is one of only three holes where the green cannot be seen from the tee.
From The Fairway
On The Green This hole is a more challenging test than the first, it nevertheless offers birdie opportunities for two exceptionally well-placed shots.

From The Tee The par 5 third hole is relatively straight away to the eye,
From The Fairway although it is played in a “Z” because strategically placed bunkers.
On The Green This hole will yield a lot of birdies, but they will have to be earned.

From The Tee This hole is one of the finest holes to be found on any golf course in the nation!
From The Fairway There are no hazards on the hole, but it plays one of the most difficult holes on the course
On The Green The green is the largest on the course – almost 10,000 square feet in size. This solid par 4 will produce more bogies than pars!

From The Tee One of the nicest par 3’s you will ever play. This hole plays downhill, as do many at Shoal Creek.
From The Fairway
On The Green . A small pond, front left of the green, adds to the challenge, as does the large bunker flanking the entire right side protecting the most difficult of all hole locations-back right of the green.

From The Tee The par 5 work of art, which Jack Nicklaus indicates is one of the best he has ever designed
From The Fairway meanders through the fairway and must be negotiated twice before reaching the green.
On The Green Once you reach the green, you will find that there are numerous subtle undulations that prove interesting.

From The Fairway A strong par 4 which, while straight-away, is well bunkered in the landing area and both sides of the green.
On The Green The green is almost 50 yards deep and will vary by as many as 3 clubs depending on the hole location.

From The Fairway This short par 3 plays slightly downhill to a very challenging little green
On The Green The green is guarded by bunkers and water on all sides. This is a wonderful par 3 with risks and rewards involved.

From The Tee This dog-leg left par 4 provides one of the top challenges on the golf course and is our most difficult. The wind is always a factor off the tee shot as well as the second shot.
From The Fairway
On The Green This very interesting green provides the players with tantalizing opportunities for that much needed par or birdie.

From The Fairway This straight away par 4 requires a well placed drive to a narrow fairway bordered by Shoal Creek and trees on the right.
On The Green The green is unique in that it has three distinct levels, each providing multiple hole locations.

From The Tee This is a reachable par 5, but the second shot is all carry over a small body of water fed by Shoal Creek
From The Fairway
On The Green Small pot bunkers guard the right front of the green with a large bunker protecting the left side. This risk-reward hole was a "gallery favorite" in the 1984 and 1990 PGA Championship.

From The Tee The twelfth hole is a great par 4. It is the only hole on the course that plays slightly uphill on the second shot,
From The Fairway and yet the design is such that the player can consistently judge the hole location on the long
On The Green but narrow green. You will be very satisfied with a par on the very difficult par 4.

From The Tee This par 3 is one of the loveliest holes on the course.
From The Fairway A wayward shot here to the left or right can bring about the loss of several strokes.
On The Green It is played from a hillside tee across a valley to a hillside green guarded by bunkers right, front, and left.

From The Tee The shortest par 4 on the course, #14 is another highly photographed hole.You have many options off the tee from a driver to an iron.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is well guarded by bunkers, and its small size can cause even the best player trouble.

From The Tee Another relatively short par 4 on the course, and yet quite a challenging one. The tee shot plays slightly uphill.
From The Fairway Your approach shot to the green is across a rather large swale to a green cut out of a beautiful hillside
On The Green The green is a single level with a rather large "elephant" middle left.

From The Fairway A back left hole location as well as a front right hole location makes this par 3 extremely difficult. Par is a good score.
On The Green The green is guarded right and left by bunkers

From The Fairway The fairway is guarded by a very large bunker on the right and is bordered by dense woodland.
On The Green A pond with a picturesque waterfall right, guards the front of the rather shallow green and adds to the beauty of the hole.

From The Fairway . A long and straight teeshot to a narrow, tumbling fairway of only 25 yards, and guarded by a turn bunker, leaves a medium iron into the very challenging green.
On The Green The green provides three major target areas for judicious hole locations.
