Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The opening tee shot should ideally finish short of the bunker positioned on the left side of the fairway, which is 240m from the tee.
From The Fairway The majority of golfers will play a three wood off the tee. This will leave a short to mid iron approach shot into the three-tier green.
On The Green Watch out for the large bunker that guards the right side of the green.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee Driver is needed of the tee for this long par 5. Long hitters are advised to aim left or right of the first positioned tree in the middle of the fairway about 295 meters off the tee.
From The Fairway This leaves approximately 260m in to the green or a lay up shot beyond a second tree in the fairway positioned 110m from the green.
On The Green The green is slightly elevated and looks deceptively smaller than it actually is, but be cautious of the range of bunkers short of the green, which should be avoided.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee This tee shot requires a mid to long iron to a large green which is protected by large bunkers around the green.
From The Fairway The green does not slope dramatically so an accurate tee shot could provide a birdie opportunity.
On The Green Enjoy the splendor of a huge Paperbark Thorn tree next to the car path as you approach the green.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee This downhill par 4 presents an interesting tee shot with 3 bunkers left and right of the fairway positioned approximately 210 meters from the tee.
From The Fairway Players are faced with the option to layup short of the bunkers although most long hitters will use driver of the tree to try and clear the bunkers.
On The Green This leaves a short approach shot into a challenging three-tier green protected by a small ravine in front of the green and two more bunkers.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole offers two fairway options of the tee. The two fairways are split by a river and require a committed tee shot either way.
From The Fairway The left fairway is the popular choice to aim for and is protected by a bunker that is 210m from the tee.
On The Green This leaves a second shot of approximately 155m to the middle of green which is protected by a large dam to the left and in front of the green.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway This uphill par 4 is distinguished by a rocky area at the start of the closely mown area 145 meters of the tee towards the right side of the fairway.
On The Green The second shot needs to be pin point to the 3-tear green, which is wide, but not very deep and guarded by a large grass bunker in front of the green.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee The 7th hole is the easiest hole on the golf course and whilst there is the risk of an out of bounds on the right, the downhill tee shot is played to a wide fairway.
From The Fairway A long tee shot leaves a mid-iron into the large green which is protected by water to the front and left of the green and two bunkers to the right of the green. Mid to high handicaps can play a layup to the front of the water leaving approximately 110 meters to the hole or play a layup short right of the bunkers next to green.
On The Green This leaves an easy pitch or chip shot and a well-played up-and-down will be rewarded with a birdie.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole also offers two tee shot options from the tee with a river splitting the fairways.
From The Fairway The left fairway runs out at 270m and is advised for mid to high handicaps. The right fairway begins 200 meters from the tee box and requires an accurate tee shot with out of bounds to the right.
On The Green The hole requires a challenging approach shot to a three-tier green, which is protected by water on the front and left of the green and a large bunker on the right.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The picturesque 9th is a splendid par 3 and requires an accurate short to mid-iron of the tee. The green is protected by a large dam short and left of the green.
From The Fairway
On The Green There are also three bunkers positioned to the right of the green for those cautious of the water hazard. The green is undulating so try and make your first putt or leave it below the hole to avoid a three putt.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee A club that hits 250 meters or less is required off the tee to stay short of the bunker. This leaves a challenging second shot with a short-to mid-iron to the green.
From The Fairway A miss short or slightly left of the green leaves an easy chip, but a poor shot to the right could see your ball end up in the bunker or the water hazard.
On The Green The three-tier green slopes from back to front, which makes distance control with the approach shot essential.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Driver is the preferred option for this tee shot to a wide fairway and a large area to the right of the fairway for a ‘safe miss’.
From The Fairway The second shot requires a short- to mid-iron to the large two-tier green which is protected by three bunkers.
On The Green
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee This is the most difficult hole on the course and requires an accurate tee shot. The bail out area is to the right of the fairway with the out-of-bound very much in play to the left of the fairway.
From The Fairway A good drive will leave a mid- to long iron approach shot to a green which is protected by water on the right and at the back of the green. Distance control is essential for the approach shot so be aware that the second plays slightly downhill.
On The Green Higher handicaps could consider laying up short left of the green with their second shots to avoid the water. This leaves a simply pitch or chip shot.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee This is the most difficult of the par 3’s on the course and requires a committed tee shot.
From The Fairway Whilst the green is relatively big, it is positioned next to a large dam which stretched along the right side of the hole and encroaches on the front right of the green.
On The Green The hole is also guarded by three bunkers.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee The long par 5 offers scenic views and abundant bird life. The hole also offers two tee shot options.
From The Fairway Most mid to high handicap players will aim for the left fairway, which runs out approximately 260 meters from the tee. The second shot can be a layup with a short iron just short of the small river that runs a little further down the fairway.
On The Green This will leave approximately 120 meters to the green for the third shot. Alternatively, a more aggressive second shot over the river will leave a 30-60 meters pitch into the green, but be cautious of the large dam to the right of this fairway and the green.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee This short par 4 is a wonderful risk-and-reward hole. A player can hit driver to 3 iron off the tee.
From The Fairway A river runs across the hole just before the fairway that starts at about 150 meters from the tee box with a dam situated to the right of the hole and “out of bounds” on the left side of the hole. A tee shot to the middle of the fairway will leave a slightly blind 110m shot to an elevated green.
On The Green Players will be able to see the top of the flag and be sure to play an ‘extra club’ to account for the elevation when you play your approach to the green and watch out for the bunker to the left of the green.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole requires a straight shot to the green with out of bounds to the left and water to the right.
From The Fairway There is a valley short right of the green and leaving the ball short right of the green will increase the chance of having a challenging elevated chip to the hole.
On The Green The relatively ‘flat’ green offers a real birdie opportunity for an accurate tee shot.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee This challenging downhill par 4 is protected by bunkers on the right and left side of the fairway positioned approximately 240 meters from the tee box.
From The Fairway The secret to playing a good approach shot is ‘one club’ less to account for the change in elevation.
On The Green The green is protected by water on the left stretching to the back of the green and 2 bunkers on the right of the green.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee An accurate tee shot off the tee box is required for the finishing hole, which is protected by a water hazards that stretches the length of the hole on the right.
From The Fairway The water hazard, out-of-bound to the left of the fairway and a bunker left of the fairway approximately 260 meters from the tee box makes it a challenging tee shot. Committed shots are required throughout this hole.
