Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee The first hole at Springhaven is a challenging one that requires
From The Fairway a long drive positioned to the left center of the fairway.
On The Green A well positioned tee shot leaves a long to mid iron approach to a large green which slopes gently from back to front. Two putts and your off to a good start.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee
From The Fairway The second hole is a par 5 which demands a straight tee shot if you intend to find the fairway.
On The Green More accurate players should aim down the right side as tee shots tend to bounce left. While the hole is reachable for long players most players should lay up to their favorite approach yardage. The green is two-tiered which makes back hole locations challenging.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee The third hole is a manageable 145 yards from the middle tee marker,
From The Fairway however, the tiny green guarded by bunkers adds to the difficulty. Make your three and move on.
On The Green
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee Playing 400 yards from the middle tee marker the fourth hole is one of the most challenging on the front side.
From The Fairway The ideal tee shot clears the left cross bunker and opens up the approach shot to a small and challenging green.
On The Green The second shot plays downhill and the green tends to run away from you so play at least a half club short. Two putting is a no easy task on this green.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee The fifth hole is a dogleg left which demands a draw off of the tee.
From The Fairway Place your tee shot 225 yards and you are left with a 130 yard approach to a flat green which is difficult to see from the fairway.
On The Green One of the longest greens on the course you may have a difficult putt depending on where the hole is located.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee The Springhaven Club’s signature hole.
From The Fairway A par three with a pond guarding the front of the green and tricky wind conditions add to the difficulty of finding
On The Green the green with your tee shot. The green slopes from left to right and from back to front so aim left of the flagstick and hope for the best.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee One of Springhaven’s most demanding par 4’s. A long and straight tee shot
From The Fairway down the left hand side is required to set up a mid to long iron approach. The green is long and kidney bean shaped which demands accuracy.
On The Green Everything bounces to the right so aim for the left half of this difficult green. Par here is a fantastic score
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee The eight hole provides a little breather after a tough stretch on holes 4 - 7.
From The Fairway The par 5 is straight away with a slight dogleg into the green. A tee shot down the right side sets you up for a layup to your favorite yardage.
On The Green A circular shaped green sloping from back right to front left can make for tough putts from above the hole.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee The ninth hole is the third of five par 3’s at Springhaven.
From The Fairway A definite challenge from the back tees at 168 yards the ninth is a little more manageable from the middle tees at 145 yards.
On The Green The green is well protected by three large bunkers and depending on the hole placement par is an extremely good score.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Hole #10 is a long par 4 which doglegs to the right.
From The Fairway A good tee shot down the left hand side is required to open up the approach shot into the
On The Green large green which slopes from back to front. Keep the ball below the hole and take your four and move on.
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee PrO-Bably the second most challenging par 4 at Springhaven, hole #11
From The Fairway demands a long straight tee shot down the right hand side.
On The Green The green, protected by two bunkers, is difficult to hit and requires pinpoint accuracy. It is okay to leave your approach just short which generally leaves an easy chip to try to save par.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee The last of the three par 5’s at Springhaven,
From The Fairway the hole is definitely a birdie opportunity. A good drive is positioned down the left side to avoid the three fairway bunkers.
On The Green A long drive provides an opportunity to go for this one in two or position your layup at 100 yards to avoid the bunkers in the layup zone. This large, but tricky green provides for many interesting hole locations.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee The longest par 3 at Springhaven requires a well struck shot.
From The Fairway
On The Green Aim at the right half of the green as everything funnels to the left. It is best to keep the ball below the hole to leave the best chance at birdie.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee A short straight away par 4 and a good chance for birdie.
From The Fairway The tee box sets you up to the right so make sure you are aware of your alignment on the tee. There is more room down the left side than it appears.
On The Green A good tee shot will leave you about 100 yards to a difficult green. The green slopes heavily from back to front and from right to left. Play more break on this green than you think.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Another fairly short par 4, but a good tee shot is required.
From The Fairway The safe play is to hit something 220 yards at the fairway bunkers.
On The Green Aggressive players may try to take on the corner to have a shorter approach into the green. Aim for the middle of the green and take your 4 on this hole.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Another beautiful par 3. This hole can play anywhere from 94 to 170 yards.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is well protected by bunkers which surround the putting surface. The green is the smallest on the course and slopes from back to front and from left to right. Depending on where the tees are located this could be a birdie hole or a good par.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee The seventeenth is one of the more difficult par 4’s on the course.
From The Fairway A 90 degree dogleg makes the tee shot difficult to judge and left to right winds can add into the difficulty of managing the out of bounds down the right side.
On The Green Once you navigate your tee shot a precise approach is required to a challenging green. Take an extra half club to make sure you get the ball back to hole. Par is an exceptional score here.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee The finishing hole at Springhaven is a dogleg par 4.
From The Fairway A good tee shot is positioned 230 yards off the tee at the bunker in the distance. If you can favor the left side you can leave yourself a slightly shorter approach into a difficult green complex.
On The Green The front hole location is the easiest while anything in the back third of the green makes for a difficult par.
