From The Tee Guarded by an old stone wall that cuts diagonally in front of the tee and continues along the left side of the green, the second plays uphill and longer than its stated yardage.

On The Green There are no bunkers here, and shots played into the bank on the right may work their way onto the green.

From The Tee Another uphill tee shot here should hug the bunkers on the right to account for the significant right-to-left slope in the landing area.

On The Green A good drive over the crest of the hill will bring the green within reach. The layup is well-defended by bunkers short of the green.

On The Green Playing safely to the right leaves a short pitch to the Biarritz-style green, which is split into front and back shelves by a deep swale through its center.

From The Tee Quite possibly the most difficult par 3 at Stonewall. The wind will almost always be a factor, as will the water hazard on the right.
From The Fairway Missing short will leave your best chance to get up and down for par.

From The Fairway Another beautiful hole defined by a set of classic Doak bunkers! Playing close to the fairway bunkers on the right will shorten the hole and leave the best angle from which to attack the flag. The fairway cants from left to right as it approaches the green offering one of our "bounce it on" options when conditions are firm.

From The Tee Slightly uphill and often into the wind, this hole will play longer than the number on the card. Avoiding the small central bunker is paramount, as the convoluted putting surface demands accuracy on all shots, including putts. This is one of our strongest par 4s.

From The Fairway This is the most difficult two-shot hole on the back nine. Clearing the pond from the back tee requires a 220-yard carry, and a ball pulled left may find a second pond farther down the fairway. Success off the tee leaves a long second to well-protected green.

From The Fairway Most players will be looking to finish with a birdie, but it may take a bogey or two to figure it out. Be prepared for an audience as you putt out to settle your match under the watchful eyes of fellow golfers gazing down from the barnside porch above.
On The Green You will either love or hate this hole, which twice plays over crossing streams. Usually playing downwind, it is 290 yards to the first hazard from the back tee; almost 100 yards to the second; and another 100 yards to the green.
