Hole Name FIRST WINDOWS & DOORS
From The Tee This par 4 is a tricky opener. Big hitters can go over the tree on the left but beware the out of bounds just to the side.
From The Fairway
On The Green To lay up, hit your tee shot no more than 200m as the hole closes in at that mark. With your approach add an extra club as it is all carry to the green, and anything short will leave a horrible chip.

From The Tee This straight away par 4 has out of bounds left, so beware of a bounce that way.
From The Fairway
On The Green For your shot onto the green add an extra club as the slope is deceiving. Anything left of the green collects in a hollow 5m below the green so avoid this.

From The Tee This par 4 fairway slopes left to right and throws your ball towards the trees on the right.
From The Fairway
On The Green Stay left, but not too far as the angle from the rough to the green is acute. For your shot onto the green beware of danger over the back. Anything short of this green might be annoying, but is way better than anything long.

From The Tee This par 5 is reasonably straight forward.
From The Fairway
On The Green Stay straight if you can, beware of a bounce to the right nearer the green. If you can keep the ball under the hole it will make putting much easier on this sloping green.

From The Tee This par 4 will test you. Big hitters can blast it over the gully.
From The Fairway
On The Green For the rest, stay right and you will make your next shot much easier than an uphill lie in the gully. Add an extra club for your shot into the green as the uphill slope makes it play a bit further. But beware of long and left of the green, there is danger lurking.

From The Tee This is a simple par 3.
From The Fairway Get the distance right and play a positive shot.
On The Green Avoid the bunker on the right as this is a tough distance from the green to get up and down. The green slopes towards the tee so makes for sloping side hill putts.

Hole Name YOU TRAVEL
From The Tee This par 4 is the longest on the course and although it is straight it is tough.
From The Fairway
On The Green Anything landing just short of the green has a tendency to shoot through the green and leave a tricky chip back down the hill. If you try to smash it you might end up right which is very hard to get up and down. Play within yourself and you will reap the rewards.

From The Tee A great little par 4. Big hitters,
From The Fairway if you are no good from 20m with a lO-B wedge lay it up to the 90m marker and leave a full shot in.
On The Green For the rest this is a demanding shot onto the green. Commit to the shot as this elevated green will test your short game.

From The Tee This is a long par 5 so keep your shots middle to left.
From The Fairway
On The Green Trying to go over the corner is fraught with trouble so slicers beware, the trees on the left stick out and grab your ball. For your approach short is much better than long.
Hole 10
Hole Name BAYLEYS TAUPO
From The Tee This par 3 plays one club longer than the distance suggests.
From The Fairway Anything left of centre will bounce left, but this is much easier than dealing with the tree on the right.
On The Green Be careful on the green as it does slope front to back and can be a bit fast.
Hole 11
Hole Name GASKIN PLUMBING
From The Tee This is a straight away par 4.
From The Fairway A wide fairway tempts you to smash it, but stay smooth back and through.
On The Green Around the green short is way better than long, and a bogey is a good score. Avoid the right-hand side of the hole as this has all the trees and bushes.

Hole Name MALCOLM FLOWERS INSURANCES
From The Tee This little par 4 can be annoying.
From The Fairway The distance suggests birdie time, but big hitters beware, anything slightly left is shut out for your second.
On The Green For the rest stay right off the tee. The tree on the left overhangs and will block you out. Smart players’ lay up and leave 100m to go.

From The Tee This par 4 has a straight forward tee shot, avoid the bushes on the left.
From The Fairway
On The Green But the approach shot is demandingly uphill. Add 15m to your calculations to allow for the false front and sloping ground. Anything short will come back towards you. If you are above the hole putting, take a bit of time to work on the speed, it will be fast.

From The Tee Another straight away par 4.
From The Fairway Short hitters stay slightly right as the slope at the bottom of the hill will throw your ball left behind the big tree.
On The Green Big hitters this is your chance for glory, so go for it.
Hole 15
Hole Name EBBETT TAUPO
From The Tee This par 5 is a teaser. If you are long enough have a go to get to the bottom of the hill,
From The Fairway around 250m should get you there. Otherwise placing yourself right of centre helps your view of the next shot. Pick your spot to lay up. Anything landing 100-140m short of the green kicks right or left behind trees.
On The Green 90m and in is flat and rewarding. If you cannot see the green, aim at the concrete power pole behind the green. Be wary of going long as the bushes behind the green have gO-Bbled a lot of balls over the years.

From The Tee Make a note of the wind on this hole as it will help you on the next as well.
From The Fairway
On The Green A straight tee shot is a must, slightly left is ok, but everywhere else is a real short game challenge. When putting uphill on this green give it a little bit extra.
Hole 17
Hole Name TOP 10 HOLIDAY PARK TAUPO
From The Tee This par 3 is slightly longer than the last but
From The Fairway
On The Green normally plays the same club due to the downhill nature of the hole. Left is trouble with a capital T, avoid it at all costs. Short is fine and a much easier up and down than anywhere else.
Hole 18
Hole Name LIQUORLAND TAUPO
From The Tee This is a good double dogleg par 5 to finish.
From The Fairway Big hitters can go over the corner on the left as this will open up the green, but make sure you hit it high enough. Everyone else can play down the middle then go left.
On The Green Right gets blocked out by the big trees. For your approach go right, the big tree on the left is a ball magnet as everything wants to bounce that way. Finally the green slopes back to front so beware a downhill putt.
