From The Tee Wait until you see the previous group going up to
From The Fairway
On The Green the green before teeing off here: the landing area is hidden in a valley. Drive to the right of the flag, then take dead aim on your approach, as the green tilts strongly from the right shoulder into a hollow on the left.

From The Tee This par-5 sets up for a fade off the tee,
From The Fairway or you'll have to hug the right side to keep from running through the fairway to the left. Unless you are very strong, the second should be played well out to the right of the flag.
On The Green Approach cautiously to the front right of the green, as the front left shelf is very difficult to hold with a pitch.

Hole Name
From The Tee Facing the narrowest tee shot on the course, you are best advised to keep right instead of taking on the left-hand bunkers and the native grasses behind them.
From The Fairway
On The Green The green is open in front, and approach shots tend to feed to the right once they land.

Hole Name
From The Tee The tee for #4 is a hundred-yard walk past #3 green, but this par-3 is worth the walk. Our take on the famous Redan hole is a bit different...
From The Fairway
On The Green there is no bunker along the left of the green, but over the back flank is trouble, and a short ball to the right will leave a difficult downhill chip. Best to be aggressive here, and let the slope feed the ball left toward the flag.

From The Tee A par-4 for the big boys, this long hole is better approached as a three-shotter by most of us,
From The Fairway
On The Green especially since a chip from short of the green is far easier than recovery from the sides. A tee shot down the right is rewarded as long as it skirts past the inside edge of some mounded bunkers.

From The Tee The shortest par-3 on property includes a bit of visual deception: the back middle bunker is actually far behind the green, with a hidden hollow in between.
From The Fairway
On The Green The far right of the green is the shallowest target, but the slopes are more receptive to stopping the ball.

From The Tee The more to the right the flag looks to be, the more to the left you should play this tee shot,
From The Fairway
On The Green to open up a line to the back half of the green. There are acres of fairway to the left here - just be sure not to drive into a wayward player coming down the 13th hole. Hedge left on your approach to avoid the deep hollow to the right of the green.

From The Tee A slight draw from this tee will gain yardage from a slope in the landing area;
From The Fairway long hitters have to be careful not to run out of fairway on the high side. Even after a good drive, this is a demanding second, with a belt of native rough to be carried on the slope in front of the green,
On The Green and an undulating green where you want to be on the same side as the flag.

From The Tee The ninth is one of the most demanding par-5's we've built. It will take three solid shots to get home;
From The Fairway the second is best played out to the left, if you can carry the three fairway bunkers and reach the area where the fairways merge.
On The Green The green angles back from left to right, so you'll have to choose your club carefully depending on the location of the flag.

On The Green 4 to a relatively small green. Approaching to the left of center, a roll in the fairway will help a short ball scoot forward. Most of the green slopes from left to right, so aim a bit left of the flag here.

From The Tee The longest par-3 on the Red course plays to a

On The Green two-tiered green set into a bank. With the flag up top, it's very tough to carry the ball there and get it to stop quickly enough. However, the bank at the back of the green can be used as a backstop to feed the ball back down to the hole.

From The Tee Don't get lost coming off #11 green the tee for this short par-4 is back up to the right by a small clump of trees.
From The Fairway
On The Green Long hitters will be tempted to go for the green, but the hazards on the direct line are tough, and playing up the gap to the left leaves a pitch that gets trickier as you go. Most players are better off hitting a 200-yard tee shot and then playing to the front of the green,

From The Tee The length on the scorecard will have good players thinking of birdies and eagles, but not so fast.
From The Fairway To go for the green, you'll have to drive to the left side of the fairway, otherwise the big maple on the right blocks the direct line home. There's oodles of fairway to the left for the second shot, but not when you get to the green..

From The Tee This mid-length par-3 plays over a beautiful bowl of native grasses,
From The Fairway
On The Green to a green that sits in a bowl of its own. There is plenty of short grass beyond the green, if you're trying to decide between clubs, but a straight shot is essential.

From The Tee Your eye draws you toward the flag,
From The Fairway to the right side of the clearing as viewed from the tee; but the tilt of the green makes the approach easier from the left, provided you can avoid the fairway bunker there.
On The Green The green is not very deep, so playing to the right of the flag is usually wise.

From The Tee This long and wide open two-shotter plays over the flattest part of the course.
From The Fairway
On The Green A miss left of the green winds up in a deep grassy bowl, but the small bunker off the right flank of the green can make for equally difficult recoveries. A short and straight approach will often win the day.

From The Tee The only bunker at this hole is hidden
From The Fairway
On The Green over to the left, but the green is still an elusive target, with short grass pitching away from it on all sides. A hint of fade on the tee shot will help hold, but you shouldn't try to fly it past the middle of the green.

From The Tee This big par-4 is the only hole in all 36 where you don't
From The Fairway have a view of the putting surface from the fairway... the approach is too far uphill for that.
On The Green The large oak behind the green is a good target if you can't see the flag. There's a hollow at the right front of the green, so hedge left with your second shot.
