Hole 1
Hole Name
From The Tee A challenging start. This long par 3 rewards an attacking shot to a large green with subtle ridges.
From The Fairway
On The Green A small swale in front of the green makes the run up difficult in winter. Do not miss right or long as water is there to catch you.
Hole 2
Hole Name
From The Tee A narrow looking tee shot is deceptive as
From The Fairway the fairway opens up to the left. Straight is the shot as the tree line down the right can easily block your approach.
On The Green The green is generous but slopes away slightly downhill. A shallow bunker lies in wait on the left apron.
Hole 3
Hole Name
From The Tee Placement, Placement, placement.
From The Fairway This hole curves gently left to right and you must be on the left side of the fairway to see the green.
On The Green A tee shot to the right will have to negotiate trees and a deep bunker short right of an expansive long green. The miss is always left.
Hole 4
Hole Name
From The Tee A short par 4 and our signature hole.
From The Fairway A meandering creek has a huge impact on the drive and approach, running down the right side and the across the entire fairway.
On The Green A well placed straight tee shot will leave you with an approach to an elevated long shallow green. The approach also has to negotiate the very large tree in the middle of the creek. There is no short approach shot to this hole and bunkers will catch anything long left.
Hole 5
Hole Name
From The Tee O-B right, O-B long, bunkers short left and a steep bank to the left that will send your ball towards the creek.
From The Fairway
On The Green Landing on the green is no guarantee of a 3 as the green is huge. It may be short but it’s lots of fun.
Hole 6
Hole Name
From The Tee Stroke index 1. A long straight hole that goes uphill for your approach.
From The Fairway
On The Green O-B all down the right requires an accurate tee shot. The approach is at least one extra club to a long shallow green that is elevated from your position. The green slopes slightly uphill and has a bank to catch the slightly long approach….pray it comes down. Do not be above the hole.
Hole 7
Hole Name
From The Tee An interesting hole. The big hitters may try
From The Fairway their luck as the fairway slopes right to left and then down to a long green. O-B all down the right and the steep slope all down the left will run the ball 30m the wrong way in summer.
On The Green The green slopes downhill with trouble long. A gentle fade is the sensible tee shot but an aggressive draw can reap rewards.
Hole 8
Hole Name
From The Tee Reachable in two for the big hitters
From The Fairway this gently sloping par 5 is a birdie opportunity for 3 well placed shots.
On The Green Trouble off the tee is to the left but a draw is the perfect shot. The fairway slopes slightly left to right and the contours can be used to set up an approach to a large subtle green. Again, a two putt is no certainty.
Hole 9
Hole Name
From The Tee Water lies in wait all up the left side from the tee.
From The Fairway A good tee shot will leave a mid to short iron to a large, slightly elevated green which slopes uphill. Do not miss this green left as a steep slope feeds into the water.
On The Green Being above the hole will leave you in a world of hurt, putting downhill on a fast green. Missing right will come close to O-B and the garage roof. Hit it and it will cost you a round of drinks for your 4 but don’t let get in your head…..you know, the garage roof.
Hole 10
Hole Name
From The Tee Straight par 5 with O-B all down the left side. .
From The Fairway
On The Green The wind will play a big part with this hole. Your second shot will have to be placed away from the lake on the right leaving a trouble free approach to a large flat green
Hole 11
Hole Name
From The Tee Water…….the ocean is to your left and another water feature for fun.
From The Fairway
On The Green Position is crucial off the tee as your approach to a long shallow green is fraught with danger. The green has a small entrance channel but is then surrounded by water. Accuracy is everything.
Hole 12
Hole Name
From The Tee O-B left and danger right faces you off the tee.
From The Fairway A nice wide fairway is your reward for a good tee shot. Set yourself up for
On The Green a nice approach to a long narrow green with little danger around it. Don’t be too long.
Hole 13
Hole Name
From The Tee This is a lovely, straight, wind effected par 3.
From The Fairway
On The Green O-B down the left and a slight rise on the right hand side of a large green. Hitting into the teeth of the wind will dramatically change your club selection.
Hole 14
Hole Name
From The Tee This hole curves left to right in a near dogleg.
From The Fairway Left of centre is the perfect tee shot leaving a mid to short iron for your approach to a well-guarded green.
On The Green Any wayward approach will be caught by an impressive Macrocapa that sits front right. The tree has been recently trimmed as too many members were found crying and rocking under it.
Hole 15
Hole Name
From The Tee Hit a draw off the tee or be short.
From The Fairway The biggest pine tree in the world waits for a push right. Water all down the left.
On The Green Bunkers short right and left of an expansive two tier green wait for a non-aggressive approach but be warned….don’t be long.
Hole 16
Hole Name
From The Tee Monster. Creeks run down the left and right of this
From The Fairway doglegged fairway. Only the big hitters will be hitting medium irons as an approach.
On The Green The green is large but has a lot of subtle breaks. A great golf hole.
Hole 17
Hole Name
From The Tee Another difficult dog leg par 4.
From The Fairway You will either have the wind at your back or be hitting straight into it. A tree lined fairway and water to the left will catch any wayward tee shot.
On The Green The green is large and flat with deep bunkers protecting the left side.
Hole 18
Hole Name
From The Tee A straight shot to an elevated green. There is no lay up on this hole….
From The Fairway
On The Green .it’s all carry. Once on the green the fun starts. Three levels with undulating swales. Putting from the back, downhill to the front is near impossible. Two putts, shake hands and have a drink.
