From The Fairway A large gully bisects the fairway, with the lowest point about 60 yards from
On The Green the green. The player may choose to play the tee shot short of the gully, resulting in a level approach shot, or choose to drive the tee shot into the gully, allowing for a shorter, but uphill approach.
From The Fairway The par 4 second hole boast a new fairway and green for the 2020 season. The hole will pay approximately 350 yards from the back tees. The white and senior tees are positioned to the left of the back tees. A new forward teebox was constructed in 2018, across the gully that runs through the first fairway.
From The Tee The par 5 third hole is a downhill dog leg right and plays 475 yards from the back tees.
From The Fairway Tee shots must stay left to avoid a steep sloping right fairway and the out of bounds that runs the right side of this hole. New tee boxes were opened in the 2019 season. The boxes are staggered down the right side of the property line.
From The Tee A par 5 prior to the renovations, the fifth hole is now an uphill par 4 measuring 412 yards from the farthest tee box. With the new tee complex constructed towards the edge of the property line, the hole will play as a slight dog leg right.
From The Tee The second of the three par 5s on the front nine, the seventh hole now plays 460 yards from the back tees. Despite its shorter yardage in comparison to other par 5s, the seventh is a challenging hole.
From The Tee The par 3 eighth hole plays 220 yards but downhill from the back tees.
From The Fairway
On The Green More forward tees will play even in elevation to the green, while the most forward will have an uphill tee shot to the green. The trout brook runs through the middle of the hole, but would not be in play for a well struck tee shot.
From The Tee The third par 5 on the front 9 of Ticonderoga Golf Course, the ninth hole plays up hill, back to the base of the clubhouse. Measuring 453 from the back tees, the hole plays longer due to the elevation change. Tee shots cross the trout brook and the best of drives land on top of the hill. Shots into the uphill will lose valuable roll and provide for a challenging stance on the second shot.
From The Tee The 10th hole at Ticonderoga Golf Course will play around 440 yards from the back tees, upon opening the new tee complex in mid 2020. The new tees sit directly below the patio of the new clubhouse.
From The Tee The par 5 eleventh hole is the longest of the five par 5s at the Ticonderoga Golf Course, measuring 565 yards from the back tees.
From The Fairway The back two tee boxes sit on the east side of the trout brook, requiring the player to drive over the brook and brush, and to the uphill fairway.

From The Tee The par 3 thirteen hole is a brand new hole, opened in late 2018. The thirteen is the only hole at Ticonderoga Golf Course completely surrounded by trees. Playing 135 yards from the back tees, the hole offers a great chance for a redeeming birdie.
From The Tee Number 14 at Ticonderoga Golf Course is an all new par 4 and is one of the most challenging holes on the course.
From The Fairway From the back tees, the hole will play up to 450 yards. The player must tee off out of shoot in the woods at the southwest corner of the course property. The tee shot is uphill and must avoid the two right fairway bunkers that guard the inside of the dog leg. The left fairway is generous, but may result in a longer approach.
From The Tee A driveable par 4 for the longer hitters, the fifteenth measures over 270 yard and plays uphill. This hole is a brand new hole,

From The Tee The final par five at Ticonderoga Golf Course is the 480 yard sixteenth hole.
From The Fairway The player must not miss right as two retention basins border the right rough. The right fairway and right rough camber to the right and will divert shots towards those ponds.
From The Tee The par 3 seventeenth, an all new hole at Ticonderoga Golf Course, will test the player’s ability to judge the wind and distance. This hole runs parallel to the former 17th.
