From The Tee One of TimberCreek’s best holes. A dogleg left par 4 which plays long from the blue or gold tees.
From The Fairway A draw off the tee will cut off some yardage and avoid the fairway bunker on the right.
On The Green The green is TimberCreek’s largest. Be sure to consult your pin position sheet – flag stick placement can make for a five club difference.

From The Tee Everything is in front of you on this straight par 4. A well struck drive which carries the 150 yard marker will roll while a shorter drive will not.
From The Fairway The fairway bunker on the left is more punishing than it appears and a tee shot to the right leaves an awkward approach.
On The Green

From The Tee A dogleg right par 4.
From The Fairway If you can carry the fair way bunker on the right with your tee ball, this is the play. If not, aim at the 150 yard pole
On The Green The green has a gathering swale in the middle and will reward proper club selection. Left of the green or short right in the greenside bunker make for a difficult up and down. A birdie hole.

From The Tee A slightly downhill par 3. You want to avoid both bunkers at all costs.
From The Fairway
On The Green If the pin is on the front portion of the green, the place to miss is short right. If the pin is on the back tier, this hole becomes one of TimberCreek’s toughest. The wind is often times deceptively strong from the right.

From The Tee Straight away par 4 with a green well guarded by a bunker in front. This greenside bunker makes distance off the tee much more important because the approach becomes much easier with a short iron. The approach shot often plays a little longer than the yardage would indicate.

From The Tee This is a hole where birdies and eagles are plentiful. A short par 5, there are more eagles made on this hole than any other at TimberCreek.
From The Fairway The ideal drive is down the left side of the fairway, which opens up a great angle to the green
On The Green The one place trouble lurks is right of the green, where a large bunker gathers many a ball, especially when the hole is placed back right.

From The Tee Possibly TimberCreek’s best hole
From The Fairway . A longish par 4 with water coming into play down the left edge of the fairway. The best play is down the right side of the fairway, where mounds can help direct the ball back to the fairway.
On The Green The longer you hit your drive, the more the lake becomes a factor but also the easier your approach shot. The fairway slopes right to left, promoting a draw to a green which often calls for a fade. A risk reward hole.

From The Tee A tough par 3. This hole plays into the prevailing wind and can play up to 230 yards from the back tees
From The Fairway Hole placement determines your strategy. If the hole is up front, you will want to get the yardage to the front of the green and hit the appropriate club.
On The Green Long left or right make for a difficult up and down. If the hole is on the back tier, err on the long side.

From The Tee If you need to make a birdie on the last hole, this par 5 gives you the opportunity.
From The Fairway
On The Green A good draw off the tee will cut off a lot of yardage and put you in a position to reach the green in two. If you cannot reach the green in two, make sure to avoid the bunker on the right, where the dreaded 40 yard sand shot awaits you

From The Tee This long dogleg left par-5 is only reachable in two by the longest of hitters. A driver is not necessary off the tee – a 200 yard tee shot
From The Fairway (depending on the tee box you play) will place you in good position and also takes a small hazard right of the fairway out of play.
On The Green . A solid second shot will allow a wedge approach to the green. The tendency on this hole is to under-club on the second shot, bringing the trees on the inside edge of the dogleg into play, especially if the flagstick is placed back left.

From The Tee A long par-4 with out of bounds to the left and a lateral hazard to the right make this the most demanding driving hole on the course.
From The Fairway Find your yardage to the 150 yard marker and hit the club that will get you there
On The Green Anything inside of 150 yards will leave you with a downhill lie to an elevated green – a tough shot. Par is a great score on this hole!

From The Tee Straightforward par-3 with heart-shaped green. Bunker in front of green sees a lot of balls for two reasons
From The Fairway the hole is slightly uphill and often plays into the wind.
On The Green If the hole location is tucked left, play to the center of the green. There have been more aces on this hole than any other par-3 at TimberCreek.

From The Fairway Originally a drive down the slope would find a hazard to the left of the fairway. This hazard has been filled in and the fairway reshaped
On The Green allowing long drives to gather at the bottom of the slope and making this 600 yard par-5 reachable in two! #4 Magnolia is now one of TimberCreek’s finest and certainly most enjoyable holes.

From The Fairway This par-3 is downhill and plays downwind to the prevailing wind
On The Green Another factor making club selection vital is the shallow green, which is only 25 paces from front to back. Pick the right club and a birdie is waiting for you!

From The Tee If the hole is located on the back tier, pay attention to the hole location chart – there is a 3-club difference in yardage from the front of the top tier to the back of the top tier.
From The Fairway If the hole is located on the front tier, make sure you leave yourself short of the hole or you will have a tough two-putt
On The Green A two-tiered green measuring 52 yards deep is the defining characteristic of this par-4 hole

From The Tee Course architect Earl Stone calls this “a rest hole; if you don’t make a par, you should be arrested”.
From The Fairway A short, straight par 4 with no fairway bunkers, the landing area is wide open. A fun short hole.
On The Green

From The Tee This par-4 plays much shorter if you can carry the hill short of the 150 yard marker. Anything short of the 150 yard marker can funnel back towards the tee and make your approach shot long and difficult.
From The Fairway
On The Green The perfect tee shot is a draw around the corner, leaving a short iron into the green. If the hole is located back left, club selection becomes paramount – short in the bunker leaves a difficult up and down and over the green is trouble as well.

From The Tee The longer you hit your drive, the more narrow the fairway becomes. The perfect tee shot is a slight fade matching the shape of the fairway.
From The Fairway If you rely on the mounds left of the fairway to direct your ball back into play, you may end up with a hanging lie.
On The Green The key to this hole is hitting your green approach shot from the fairway, even if you have to lay back with an fairway wood or iron off the tee.
