From The Tee The first hole is a dog leg left with a large bunker just off the fairway and out of bounds on the left.

From The Fairway The second shot requires a long uphill shot into the green; this makes it difficult for most players to get on the green for two.

On The Green

Hole Name Little Grebe

From The Tee

From The Fairway

On The Green With out of bounds on the left and tree lined down the right hand side, the second hole demands an accurate tee shot to set you up for a short iron shot into the narrow green.

Hole 3

Hole Name Osprey

From The Tee A long par 5 with a fairway which gets tighter the further you hit makes this hole play a lot longer than on the score card.

From The Fairway With a fairway which slopes to the right and two bunkers is a definite hazard to watch out for on the tee shot.

On The Green However, if you hit over the bunkers, then a ditch is there to catch the long hitters. The next shot requires positioning in between the two further bunkers to allow a short shot onto a very difficult green with the green sloping towards the reservoir.

Hole Name Snipe

From The Tee

From The Fairway

On The Green Off the back tees this hole plays 231 yards with a small ditch 40 yards short of the green with a noticeable bunker greenside, this makes this hole the hardest par 3 on the course.

Hole Name Greenshank

From The Tee This hole has 2 trees on the right of the fairway which acts like a magnet for the golf ball.

From The Fairway however on the left of the fairway there’s a well positioned bunker which comes into play if avoiding the trees, this makes it much harder to hit your second shot into a long 2 tier green.

On The Green

Hole Name Coot

From The Tee This hole is ranked one of the most difficult on the course; it is a long par 4 with out of bounds on the right hand side and deep rough on the left.

From The Fairway

On The Green The second shot needs to be judged perfectly as the shallow green is well protected.

Hole 7

Hole Name Teal

From The Tee A short par 3 downhill makes this hole easily reachable for all golfers however an accurate shot needs to be hit to make par.

Hole 8

Hole Name Shelduck

From The Tee The 8th hole is a reachable par 5 for the long hitters however if you cannot get up the steep hill with your tee shot then it makes it a definite needs 3 shots to get to the green.

On The Green There are 2 bunkers short of the green on this hole with trees down both sides.

Hole 9

Hole Name Whimbrel

From The Tee This hole appears to be more of a dogleg left than it actually is. In the Summer take care not to hit your drive too long; too far right and you have a long second shot, too far left and the trees may hinder you.

From The Fairway A downhill approach to the green that makes it difficult to judge the distance for the second shot.

Hole Name Plover

From The Tee A well protected green for this par 3 means a vital tee shot is required to avoid the 2 bunkers; a challenging par 3 to start the back 9.

Hole Name Cormorant

From The Tee A long par 5 with a ditch following the hole on the left hand side.

From The Fairway

On The Green The stream in front of the green and a down-hill lie makes the approach particularly tricky.

On The Green This par 5 requires a tee shot just right of the bunkers to allow a good angle to try to get as close to the green as possible. However, this green is protected by a bunker short right and a pond behind.

Hole Name Curlew

From The Tee A nice short dog leg right with trees down the right-hand side.

From The Fairway

On The Green A drive slightly left opens up the small green protected by three bunkers.

Hole Name Sandpiper

From The Tee

On The Green Short par 3 with all the trouble in the front of the two-tier green. Landing on the correct tier is vital, otherwise a tricky putt.

Hole Name Lapwing

From The Tee Another difficult par 4 hole that plays longer than it appears.

From The Fairway Trees and bushes line the left-hand side and the fairway also slopes to the left with a raised green.

On The Green

Hole Name Moorhen

On The Green This long par 3 is the signature hole of the back 9, with a small target green and a lake on the left-hand side and a slope on the right.

Hole 17

Hole Name Kittling Hill

From The Tee

From The Fairway Recently re-designed, this hole is now a par 5 that with a tight drive and a 150 yard carry to the fairway.

On The Green Trees down both sides of the hole makes positioning important and bunkers on either side of the green makes it difficult to hit in two shots.

Hole 18

Hole Name Swan

From The Tee A short finishing hole with out of bounds down the left that gives the option of trying to drive the green or laying up before the ditch across the fairway and leaving a short iron to the green.

From The Fairway

On The Green The long narrow green is well protected and the out of bounds very close on both sides.
